Escapada con Encanto Cottage

Nuestra pintoresca cabaña se encuentra a solo un minuto a pie del centro del pueblo de Osterville, con sus exclusivas tiendas, restaurantes y un ambiente encantador. Es un paseo rápido en bicicleta o un corto viaje de una milla a la playa y solo diez minutos en automóvil de Hyannis propiamente dicha o cualquiera de una serie de aldeas de Cape Cod. Aunque nuestro lugar tendrá capacidad para hasta 3, es mejor como una escapada romántica para una pareja, un excelente lugar para una excursión de fin de semana de amigos o un lugar cómodo para un aventurero en solitario. Nuestro lugar no es apropiado para niños. Incluimos toallas y ropa de cama para nuestros huéspedes, así como un pase de playa.

Great first time in the Cape.

The house was cute and clean and in a good location. It had everything we needed. We enjoyed out stay there and would recommend it to anyone traveling in the area. The hosts are thoughtful planners and great at communicating.

We liked the cottage, it had everything you would need. very clean and cozy.

We are beach bums and Dowes is just a mile away. Resturaunts are also close in Osterville center. Quiet setting not much traffic.

Such a lovely stay at this adorable cottage. The accessibility to Dowses Beach was our favorite part - a beautiful spot. Victoria was very kind and helpful. The cottage was clean and set-up thoughtfully.

Wonderful home base for great Cape vaca!

Mu best friend and I had a super stay at the Sand Dab! The extra touches were so welcoming, and it was a great spot for the two of us. Comfy beds, nice bathroom, great little kitchenette, too. We loved Dowses Beach, and Osterville is a convenient spot to travel south to P Town, Chatham, etc. Loved whale and seal watching, Fancy’s Market, Amie’s Bakery, Wimpy’s and the Chart Room. Thank you for a great stay!

Fantastic stay

Adorable, charming tiny house very close to center of Osterville. Just big enough for 2. Decorated with many little Cape Cod-y touches. Felt quite at home and really enjoyed our stay.

AMAZING!!

I don’t have enough wonderful things to say about this property. It was the perfect little cottage for me and my husband. It was absolutely beautiful in the perfect location. Very close to the beach and decorated beautifully. We felt at home and relaxed the instant we walked in. The owners made sure we had everything we needed and we’re available if anything were to come up. The only downside was that our weekend went by too fast! We will definitely be booking next year and making this our yearly tradition.

Idéal pour un séjour romantique! Tout y est pour se reposer dans un décor soigné typiquement bord de mer, cuisine minimaliste, divan confortable et literie de qualité. Emplacement parfait pour rayonner dans la région Lower Cape. Nous avons apprécié la carte de stationnement qui nous permettait de visiter plusieurs plages gratuitement à Barnstable. Grandeur appropriée pour deux adultes, max 3 avec un enfant. Définitivement une adresse à retenir!

Perfect beach cottage

The Sand Dab was an adorable beach cottage in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of Osterville. The beach pass was a great bonus too. Very clean, comfortable furniture and fun beach vibe.

lovely little cottage

what an adorable little space in a great location in osterville! very quiet and easily walkable to the heart of town. five stars for cleanliness. the space is small though, particularly the kitchen,, so if you plan on doing much cooking it may not be your best option. it was great to have to very reasonable sized bedrooms though. lots of positives on this property. absolutely LOVED the gas fireplace on the cool and rainy fall weekend when we were there! so cozy!

Perfectly adorable cottage

We enjoyed our stay at this well appointed cottage. We ate in one night and enjoyed takeout from a local deli sitting at the table in the backyard. Short drive to beaches and walking distance to several restaurants. Easy check-in and check-out. Gracious host checked on us to be sure we had everything we needed with just the right amount of attention.

West Coast transplants from California, we fell in love with the Cape in mid-January ten years ago and knew it would only get better from there. We chose Osterville for its central location, quintessential Cape feel, amazing beaches, and quaint village vibe. We are so enamored with this small, upscale village that our primary residence is right down the road. There you'll find my wife of twenty-five years and I and our two pugs, Chow and Tater. We are both educators: I am busy as an independent college consultant and business owner, and she teaches Latin full time at the local public high school.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Only a mile from our primary residence, the cottage is unique in Osterville, a village defined by beautiful rambling oceanfront estates. It is a small, quaint, and comfy respite just steps from downtown Osterville shopping and dining. Clean and updated our place is a wonderful getaway. It does accommodate three, though it is more suited to a romantic hideaway for couples or a beach retreat for a couple of friends.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

In a nutshell, the charm our cottage oozes was the clincher for us. From the sea salt shade on the shutters and door to the finely manicured, postage stamp front yard. Large enough to feel comfortable yet small enough to be uniquely quaint, the cottage is all about location, location, location. Only a 1 mile bike ride to Dowses Beach or steps to downtown shopping and dining, the central location at the edge of the village is what stole our hearts.
