Host was extremely helpful throughout the booking process and our stay. Property was very clean and tidy, the Movie Theater & Arcade was a huge hit with our son!!

We didn't get to enjoy the pool because it was closed. The Apt was super clean. The only thing I didn't like like was that the kitchen didn't have a stove.

The property was actually better than pictured. The movie room is amazing! There are 6 recliners. The arcade game has probably 100 games on it. We had bad weather and couldn't swim in the ocean. The host heated the pool for us so we could go swimming. The location is in the middle of everything. We will definitely stay there again!

The owner was quick to respond to questions. The property manager was very nice. The location was convenient. The home was as advertised. The beds however were uncomfortable and made it difficult to get a good nights sleep. Otherwise it was a very enjoyable stay.

This place was great for the price and amenities that came with it. The pool and movie room definitely made it worthwhile. There is a bit of a privacy issue as there is someone that lives on the second floor of the property (the property manager). While he did not bother us and was extremely friendly, this may turn some people off. There was an instance of some other people showing up and hanging around the house as well which made us feel a little weird. I’m assuming these were friends of the gentleman that lives upstairs. None the less the stay was good. Again, the movie room and arcade machine were great to have after a day of being out at the beach, pool, etc. The cons of this house, it needs a serious deep cleaning. We saw roaches on several occasions and even had a dead one under the master bedroom bed. The bathtub holds water, so you will be standing in dirty water as you shower. And there was also a foul stench coming from the trash can area that we could not figure out. The trash can was empty and the smell was still there. This house is right off the main highway and a side road so you will certainly hear loud cars and truck throughout the day as well. All in all, I would probably stay here again if the cleanliness issues were resolved and it was a bit more private. We did enjoy our stay and the host was responsive and friendly.

very nice place. we did not get a chance use the theatre but it was very nice looking with movie theater style carpet and chairs. very close access to a convenience store, a couple bars, and public beach access.

Nice place for the price, within walking distance to the beach and multiple bars/ restaurants. Property manager helped out with all our needs and really enjoyed the stay.

Great place to stay, did not know that someone lived upstairs until after booking but he’s absolutely wonderful and doesn’t mind the guests. Owner is super responsive to messages. Overall great place.

Peaceful and Comfortable Family Beach House

Great little place for a family who loves the beach. We were comfortable as a family with 3 teens and parents. The private pool is spacious and perfect after a long beach day. The host on the second floor (separate from the house) was very welcoming and friendly and totally respected our privacy. The house is very clean, accessible and there are tvs in every room with a generous amount of channels. My teens also loved the movie theater/room to relax in the evenings. The property has good wifi and close proximity (5 minute walk) to the beach. Nearby are several restaurants, beach shops, gas stations and major grocery stores to buy anything you need. The property is equipped with appliances for light cooking, which worked out perfect for us. We all loved this property. Sharing a rental with teens that are hard to please, I'd say this trip was a huge win! I'd recommend this property to anyone.

Great get away

Absolutely wonderful. Perfect for familys and kid friendly. Our kids enjoyed the pool and the home in movie theater. It definitely made for an unforgettable first vacation as a family. We will definitely be back in the future.

Great place for a small family!

This is a great place to stay for a small family! The pool is really nice, perfect size and the provided pool toys were an unexpected bonus. If you want a vacation where you don’t cook (no dishes!), and go out to eat every night then this is the place for you. Small kitchen was perfect for easy breakfasts and lunches by the pool. (You could cook if you chose, my goal was NOT to so this was ideal for us!). The kitchen had everything we needed for our dining plans for the week and to easily prepare lunches. Mattresses were a bit uncomfortable, but normally can’t please everyone with them so we travel with a foam topper and it definitely helps! Communication was great and the property manager on site was super helpful with any needs. Would recommend this place for families looking for a private pool and relaxing time!

Dads gift from kids

My siblings and I treated my dad to a weekend trip to the beach. We had a great time and chose this listing because of the proximity to local restaurants, the beach and the fact that it had a Private pool and movie room.

Amazing!

We had so much fun staying here! My kids LOVED the pool, great location for everything you need and close to the beach. The house was immaculate and had everything you need for your stay. Rafael was easy to contact when needed and the property manager that lives upstairs is the nicest man. We will definitely be back!

The location was great as it is walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The manager of the building was super helpful as he went and found us a beach chair to use. It was a great trip with the family.

Kitty hawk stay

The house was very clean. We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing I would say is that the master mattress was super uncomfortable. Just wished it had been comfier!

CHILLY OVERPRICED WEEKEND

This property is way over priced, especially for the off season. The place had a heated pool so I didnt care there wasnt a jacuzzi. I checked in Friday night and check out Sunday morning. So we really only stayed one whole day. 300 price 200 deposit 100 cleaning fee 50 service fee 59 insurance 50 tax 80 extra to heat the pool. So your looking at 800 for 2 nights. In the description it says heated pool but does not specify that it is an extra cost. The owner did not tell me there was an extra fee to heat the pool until a few hours before our arrival. I told him we were only needed the pool heated for the one day we were staying but was told I had to pay for 2 days because it takes hours to heat up thousands of gallons of water. Last time i checked there were 24 hours in one day. On our first night, I tried to bond with my teens by cooking dinner with them but the power kept going out. I had to find the breaker (in the dark in an unfamiliar setting) and hit it several times to finish cooking our dinner. The owners response to that was it was my fault for using the microwave and the hot plate at the same time. He said i disreguarded the "warning" sign but i did not see any signs anywhere. I even took pictures to make sure. I told him he should have an electrician look at his wiring just in case it was a fire hazard. He assured me the place wouldnt catch on fire during our stay. The owner was rude, intimidating and even threatened me. No compassion for a momt

End of March weekend getaway

Property was great! Theater room was awesome. Owner very responsive to all questions. Got back to me quickly within 10 minutes (probably less.)Only downside was the bed is not a king. Definitely a full. Also the pool was not completely ready (dirt and leaves in the bottom) I believe mostly due to being early in the season. Would definitely stay here again. Location is fantastic.
