First off I live in California, my occupation requires me to drive all over Monterey and Santa Cruz county, I also visit San Francisco regularly so I’m very accustomed to seeing beautiful beaches and sights but the view from this condo was absolutely stunning! The pictures in the advertisement don’t do it justice, if anyone could find something to complain about then they must be very hard to please. The ocean is right off the lanai, and to get into the warm calm ocean takes about 30 seconds unless you’re walking on island time.My wife and I love going in the ocean but we dare not where we live due to water temperature, But both of us were in the water for hours at a time and the water was so clear you could see the sea turtles literally swim right by.I don’t think a day went by without us seeing turtles right from the lanai, perfect place to wake up and drink coffee or juice and eat breakfast, so relaxing. The condo also had all the appliances the we needed pots, pans, coffee maker, blender, even had a boogie board and fins for snorkeling.We went to Honolulu for our honeymoon and stayed in a skyscraper on the 36th floor with a sweeping view, but the view from this location blew my mind, the only complaint I have with this unit is that I had to leave.Very well done, thank you so much, from the Venuti’s.

Great ocean view. Could use a bigger AC unit, but was comfortable. Host was helpful. Unit is missing a gate key to go to the ocean after hours.

Nice place

The condo was clean and comfortable. Everything worked well except for the TV. We couldn’t get the fire stick to work and finding our preferred stations was difficult. Since we didn’t really come to Maui to watch TV it wasn’t that big of a deal, but it would have been nice for the few times we wanted it.

Perfect Location

First trip to Hawaii with staying in a third floor VRBO condo just feet from those tropical blue water - it doesn’t get much better. The property manager was very responsive when we needed help. Highly recommend this condo.

Perfect spot for a getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Perfect location. We watched whales breach in the morning while having coffee on the deck (bring binoculars). The bbq's are a great place to watch the sunset while grilling up dinner. Easy parking, kitchen worked great. This is a perfect spot for a couples getaway. The only thing I would change is to have a key to get to the backyard before the manager opens it, but that's because I wanted to get an early swim in.

Beautiful view of sunset and turtles

The owners could use to put some money into upgrades in furniture and repairs. The couch is not in very good shape with stains, there are several place they used scotch tape to secure items like linoleum that has separated on the countertops, peeling cabinet and a fennel of the beds head board that was not attached and had been gorilla glued many times. The condo itself is great it just need some deferred repairs and new furniture.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the first time using VRBO and I was nervous the unit would not be as nice as it looked. I was relieved as soon as I walked in. The views were amazing, saw numerous turtles and snorkeled everyday. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the personal touches left by the host. Host left a binder of instructions for the building, flyers for local restaurants and things to do near by. Plenty of places to eat close by as well as a grocery store if you want to save money and cook your own meals. Kitchen had everything we needed to do so. The only negative about this area is that its on the other side of Mt Haleakala and RTH.

After the first night we didn't see any more roaches. The condo was nice and had all we needed for our stay. The view is perfect and snorkeling right behind the condos was very nice as well.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We decided to try the Kaleialoha this trip after a disastrous trip pre covid to the Maui sands. Although our trip was canceled and rescheduled several times during the Pandemic, Lonnie, the site manager, worked with us constantly updating us on Covid rules for Hawaii. We finally made it here after covid and extended our stay to 4 weeks, from 2. We originally stayed in #305 for the first portion and we're in #109 for the remaining 2 weeks, so we are still enjoying our time here.

Complete Relaxation!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: One week spent at Kaleialoha resort was a time to get away from the business of touring and activities. With the beach and turtle watching right outside our window, the days gently flowed by. Walking down to the local park and sitting in the shade made it easy to escape the afternoon sun. The sun would beat into the condo just after lunch so it was a must to get out! Close by were some delicious meal options if cooking wasn't on our agenda. Keep an eye on opening and closing times as your choice of restaurant may unexpectedly close early! If cooking at the condo, the BBQs were always clean and well maintained. We didn't rent a car for our last week on Maui and with the location a bit further from the main stream activities, getting around would have been more difficult if not prepared to take the bus. The bus stop is right outside the condo and the on-line schedule easy to follow. Times grocery store was a 15 minute walk so we loaded up on groceries before we returned our rental car. To get back to the airport we found that Uber did not run later in the evening in this area. We ended up booking a shuttle. I would recommend having a car for this part of the island as busing and shuttles/Uber are more expensive than from travelling in Kihei. This was our second visit to this property and we weren't disappointed. Everything was clean and in good repair. The biggest thrill was being able to watch the turtles feed while enjoying the surf and sun right from our balcony. We will certainly visit again and have recommended to our friends.

Can't beat the location

This was the 3rd time we stayed at the Kaleialoha condos. You can't beat the location. It doesn't have a sandy beach, but there are plenty of nearby ones you can drive to. The area is safe for walking to the local stores.
