We had a wonderful stay with Eileen at the Celebrity Hideaway. She was extremely hospitable, accommodating, accessible, and kind. The apartment is thoughtfully appointed and comfortable with everything you could need. Parking is a breeze, and that is always welcome in Los Angeles. The location is perfect with so many restaurants and attractions nearby. We will definitely be back and recommend this gem to anyone looking for a relaxing home base during your SoCal stay.

A peaceful and beautiful stay. Area is very quiet. Location was perfect for us. Close to many grocery stores, close to Rose Bowl (30 mins with peak traffic), which is where our event was, and next door to Universal (literally 15 minutes with peak traffic) which we took advantage of! We didn't have time to squeeze in a hike but there were trails nearby as well. Eileen was incredibly nice and helpful. A very thoughtful host who has ton of recommendations for the area, and checked in to make sure we were doing ok. She also has the most adorable dogs. Would absolutely stay here again. Thanks Eileen for having us!

Fantastic stay in lovely home

The host was wonderful and extremely helpful with directions, check in and the coffee and half and half was a very nice surprise. Much better than a hotel room with a large living room with two very comfortable couches, a TV and a desk. Very large kitchen with table.If we are in LA area again, we will definitely stay here.

Getaway during our getaway

This is a cute apt in a lovely and quiet neighborhood. Great for having bfast and starting our day and getting rest at the end of our day. Enjoyed sitting on the patio in peaceful surroundings. Our host was very helpful and had great recommendations for restaurants close by. Definitely need a car or Uber to get to and fro.

Brotherly business

We met in LA for some probate business. It was cheaper than 2 hotel rooms. He snores. We saved money with kitchen for warming up breakfasts from Trader Joes. Parking was right out front. Decor was fun, and shower water pressure ...record setting. The grounds were nice and we had a view of Hollywood Hills.

Awesome Stay

We loved staying at this Studio City apartment. Our host made us feel so welcome. Every detail was thought of, from the spacious walk in closet, to the extremely comfortable bed, ample linens and towels (including extra pillows and blankets), well stocked kitchen, the comfortable family room, and the beautiful deck. The location was perfect. We were close to everything we wanted to do and see in Studio City, including great restaurants (thank you for the recommendation for Granville...delicious!), sightseeing, and hiking. We also fell in love with the neighborhood...such a gorgeous and peaceful place to call "home" for a few days. We hope we can stay again when we are visiting Los Angeles in the future.

Close to everything in LA/Hollywood!

This upstairs apartment with its own separate entrance is literally 10 minutes from most attractions you will find in Hollywood/LA. You are literally minutes from many stars homes, and the street itself is very safe and quiet for relaxation. The apartment comes with everything you need and groceries and other supplies are also nearby. The hosts are very nice to work with and provide any support you need. You will not be disappointed coming here as we may very well again in the future!

A Great Place in a Great Part of LA

The place was great! It was very homey and comfortable, there was plenty of free parking, and the showers had the best water pressure I have ever experienced anywhere. The neighborhood was surprisingly residential and quiet, but there were shops and restaurants -- and great hiking -- a short drive away. Our host was very welcoming and full of good advice. We had no problems during our two-week stay and were sorry to leave.

A Wonderful Hidden Gem of a Stay

Eileen was a most amazing and generous host. She is the perfect amount of attentive and thoughtful. The amount of consideration, love and care that clearly goes into the apartment is apparent, and we didn’t need to ask for anything from her the entire stay. We visit LA annually, and it was such a wonderful switch up to our usual hotel stays. This is the perfect home away from home. This was our first time using VRBO, and we have nothing but positive things to say about Eileen and her place. If you’re unsure of where to stay, and want to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city, but still be close enough to go out and enjoy it while you’re visiting—look no further! This is THE place! Thank you for an incredible stay!

Great location

We totally enjoyed our stay in studio city. Eileen was a wonderful hostess and the place was spotless. We stayed there for three days and three nights and it’s too bad that it rained the first two days as we were looking forward to sitting on the patio, enjoying the sunset., I would really encourage anyone to Strawley consider this property.

BEST stay close to EVERYTHING LA

Eileen was an amazing host. She made us feel welcome from the get go and lots of special touches when we got there. She was very responsive to all our questions both before and during our trip. The place was perfect for our family of 4 and was close to everything. Studio city is adorable and there are tons of shops and restaurants close by. We will definitely stay here again.

Great Oasis in Studio city!

Celebrity Hideaway was a fantastic home away from home! It was even prettier and more spacious than the pictures illustrated. Plenty of room for a family of four. Tucked away in the hills with a beautiful view! On street parking still felt safe as this is a very upscale neighborhood. King bed was very comfortable and young adult pull out bed was comfortable for young ladies. It was nice to have a warm bathtub to come home to. Two spacious bathrooms were great to allow for ample space to get ready for the day. And having a nice warm bath after a full day of walking around Disney was nice to come home to. It was nice to have fresh coffee, a bottle of wine and half and half creamer available. A Trader Joe’s, CVS and grocery story are just minutes away. Highly recommend the restaurant Granville just a few minutes away with the most fantastic Beef stroganoff! Hostess was very nice providing recommendations with a nicely prepared home guide book. 5 star recommendation!!

Fantastic location!

Eileen was great & timely with all communication. Followed up on our stay to ensure we had everything we needed. House was very well equipped. Pull out couch was very comfortable for our boys. Location can’t be beat! Safe & beautiful neighborhood Wish I had booked longer!

Accommodating!

One word to describe Eileen is accommodating. I had to cancel my original trip last minute and rebook for another week. Eileen made it work so that I could have the same amount of time as before. The property was perfect for my brother and me. We had everything we needed. The location was central to where we wanted to explore. It was the perfect first trip to LA. Highly recommend Eileen!

Born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. We purchased this home because of its central location and beautiful neighborhood. Studio City though small has a real feeling of community mixed with glamour & sophistication. I've traveled quite a bit but will always call Studio City my home.

The sophistication and style of blended cultures gives shoppers choices without all the hassle of driving all over LA. The community of Studio city cares about supporting growth that benefits the neighborhood. Studio City is the gem in all of LA. We have our own farmers market, wonderful restaurants, shopping, movies and markets and art fairs. Minutes from Universal Studios, the Hollywood bowl and the Sunset Strip. I Wouldn't live anywhere else.
