Great views, great location.

The property is bigger than the pictures suggest. It was clean and tidy and as described online. The views are fantastic of both the ocean and the Bluff. We had a wonderfully relaxing time and our dog loved every minute too.

Wonderful Encounter Bay Getaway

Beautiful location. Excellent accommodation - well appointed and presented. Quiet location with off road secure vehicle parking. Professional and attentive property manager who was particularly helpful on some initial queries. Thank you for the champagne and chocolates. Sorry we no longer have our beloved cat to enjoy a return visit with us.

Incredible views

Such a well designed property to take in the best of the magic views including The Bluff. Great location close enough to walk to town if you wish. Had all the required amenities apart from soap bars/body wash if you prefer those in the shower. Beds were comfy enough, AC worked well & good to be able to stream the various TV apps. Fantastic the house is also pet friendly 🐶

Lovely place by the beach

We had a lovely stay at this house during winter. The house is stylish and well equipped with fantastic views from the front and side. We amused ourselves easily with walks to Victor Harbour and the bluff, eating at great local places (Beach house and Eat at Whalers), visited Port Elliot (horseshoe bay) and play cafe. Went across to the beach every morning with the dog. She was almost walked out and the rest of the time loved laying in front of the window watching the world go by. Will be looking to book this place again.

Great property and location

Arrived with our dog. We all settled in immediately and felt at home. Stayed for 9 nights. Everything we needed was there as per the supplied manual. Information was very useful. We relaxed and walked along the beach. Found perfect coffee at Boulevard Cafe. Great pizzas on the esplanade. Met lots of friendly locals. We could have enjoyed another couple of weeks easily.there was lots of room for anyone with a family.

Easter at Encounter Bay

The property is right on the esplanade with glorious sea views from the sitting rooms - upstairs and down - and the balcony/deck. The kitchen is well designed and with modern appliances. Bedrooms were comfortable and with plenty of storage for clothes. Air conditioning worked beautifully and we needed both cooling and then heating over the long weekend. Dogs were superbly catered for and welcome. The property agents sent messages every day - a surfeit of attention, possibly, for some vacationers. The only disappointments were the shower rooms, especially in the ensuite where the shower head was fixed. If you are short, you tend to drown under the strongly pressured water! There is no heater in either bathroom. There is no garage, although one was advertised, but we were able to park in the courtyard behind a sliding gate.

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a detailed review. We're so pleased you enjoyed the sea views, comfort, and dog-friendly features of the property. We also appreciate your constructive comments regarding the bathrooms, and we'll look into ways to improve the shower setup and heating. Your feedback about the garage listing and communication frequency is noted—thank you for bringing this to our attention. We’re glad you had a great stay overall and hope to welcome you again in the future.

Brilliant location

We loved the architectural design features of this compact property, which really captured the gorgeous views of encounter bay. It is a truly special part of victor harbor. There were a few minor issues eg no lightweight bedding options for warm nights such as a cotton blanket. This was rectified the next day by Stayz staff purchasing us an alternative to the very warm quilt provided. We couldnt get any of the technology to work which was only an issue on one very hot day when we didnt want to be out and about, and happened late in our stay so we didnt have time to see if Stayz could help us. We are reasonably competent with technology but apart from connecting to the wifi and basic tv we couldnt make anything work with the instructions provided eg netfix etc. And most basic of all, there was no plug for the kitchen sink that we could find. We didnt want to run the dishwasher every day and would have liked to be able to do our morning dishes on departure day properly rather than just rinse them. Its a tiny though well stocked kitchen so it would have been nice to keep it very clean. Towels are very small and skimpy, compared to plentiful and more luxurious towels, tea towels, bath mats etc provided in air bnbs.Other than these issues we greatly enjoyed the property and the location.

Wonderful home for a family holiday, very cosy with great AC. Beautiful views across the water. Beds very comfortable and 2x lounge areas were really useful. Could use a dryer as it rained for several days. Kitchen well stocked with pots pans etc. would definately stay again .

Fabulous Location

The townhouse is an easy place to stay for a restful break looking out at the ocean and people plus dog watching. It is also easy to walk to shops and cafes down the road or into Victor Harbor itself. We didn't have a dog ourselves but can see it would be a great location to take one's dog for a holiday.

Perfect pet friendly stay

This place was perfect for families with older children and pets. It was very clean and modern and the beach front location was perfect for walks with the dog. The beds were very comfortable so all who stayed had incredible nights sleep. The kitchen was well stocked with all that we needed for cooking. Very relaxing stay.

A lovely stay

We had a lovely stay at this property. The space was cosy but large enough for the 5 of us. It had everything we needed. The location was the best part, with the bay on our doorstep and a beautiful view from the balcony! It would have been even better if there was better car parking. The bathroom upstairs needs a bit of updating and beware, the upstairs bedroom gets quite hot - would have been great to have a window that could open or a fan to help move air around.
