The BEST Condo

I LOVE this cozy condo. This was our 2nd stay and it checks ALL the boxes. Comfortable beds and furniture (living room great to hang with the fam & watch a movie), great views from the 3 balconies, convenient to mountain, lots of kitchen amenities, covered garage parking...indoor pool and jacuzzi are nice...I wish all stays were this great!

Awesome property

The condo was awesome. In great condition and is quite modern. We really enjoyed staying there, unfortunately, we could hear EVERY step from the people above us and they were quite loud so not much sleep.

Convenient Clean and Cozy

Annual ski trip to Winter Park was absolutely perfect this year. The condo is very well stocked the covered parking was terrific as it snowed a foot overnight while we were there. Perfect location — close to all amenities in Winter Park. Hoping to stay here again in 2026.

Nice getaway

We decided to get away from Denver for a few days over Christmas, and we had a great stay at this condo! The location was nice only being a short drive to town, and it had a fun game room and pool/hot tub to enjoy at the end of the day. Additionally, the condo was very well stocked with most everything you needed appliance and cooking wise. We enjoyed our winter park getaway and would love to come back!

Beautiful condo, shuttle very convenient. Great amenities. Can be noisy with night trains and easy to hear neighbors. Overall a really good stay.

Great spot for Winter Park skiing!

Lovely condo with a beautiful view of the mountains. The shuttle to the resort was extremely easy for skiing. The two jacuzzis and sauna were much needed after long days out in the snow. Would definitely recommend!

Very Nice Condo

The condo is very clean and comfortable. It’s located right on the shuttle line with access to the town and ski resort. Check-in and check-out process was easy. Kitchen is well stocked with all the utensils we needed.

Winter Park Condo

Very nice condo that has been remodeled. Well stocked kitchen for cooking meals. Ample supply of trash bags and toilet paper for a week stay. Plus soap, shampoo and conditioner provided. Good location in town of Winter Park with garage parking. Would definitely stay at this condo again. We were two married couples and had plenty of room and privacy.

Great Ski Weekend Condo

This was a perfect condo for our family ski weekend. It is equipped with everything we needed (although the toaster REALLY needs to be replaced; it did not work at all) and we appreciated how updated it is while also being a very cozy space to watch movies, hang out together, etc. The building itself was also nice - we liked having access to the pool, hot tub, yoga room and game room. We also appreciated how easy it was to catch the Lift Shuttle to the mountain and back again at the end of the day. Other reviews complained about train noise, but this was not an issue for us at all (and we have some finicky sleepers among us). We heard one train on one night, but that was it, even though I am sure other trains were going by throughout our time there. We would definitely stay in this condo again - thank you!

Well Appointed Condo

The condo at Silverado II was perfectly suited for our family of 4. The remodel was well done, and the living room was great for spreading out and watching movies after a day of skiing. My son quickly claimed the chaise lounger, and after we each (finally) got a chance to try it out, understood why! We did hear a few trains the first night and decided to use the small fan in the master closet as white noise on subsequent nights. We didn’t notice them again after that. We caught the Lift shuttle at the driveway entrance on our first ski day but decided to drive to Mary Jane lots on days 2 and 3. The shuttle was convenient, but the winter weekday schedule currently only runs hourly—so driving was easier for us and guaranteed we got to the mountain when we wanted. My daughter and I enjoyed the hot tubs, and unlike other places I’ve stayed, the hot tub and pool area was not overcrowded. One evening, we had the whole area to ourselves. Overall, Silverado II is a quiet complex that has everything you need (underground parking, ski lockers, laundry facilities, pool/hot tubs, shuttle stop, etc.). Lovely unit - trains run at night

Beware - this unit is right next to active UPRR train tracks. Notice the listing does not show any pictures from the balcony because the train tracks are literally 150 feet from the balcony side of the building. The trains (sometimes up to 25 cars long!) came thru at midnight, 4 AM, 6 AM etc. We used earplugs and sound machines, but that didn't matter because whole entire unit would shake when the train engines went by. We skied 9-4 every day and that still didn't help us sleep thru the overnight trains. Other than that this unit was great - the covered parking was very nice as were the hot tubs and pool. The unit has a ski locker in the garage which was very helpful. We also enjoyed using the free shuttle (lift) so no worry about driving to & parking at Winter Park. The primary bedroom bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. The living room was also very comfortable and it is open to the dining/kitchen areas. They need a new pop up toaster, you had to use a fork (no tongs provided) to get the items out when done. While the unit itself is very updated the overall building is old & dated and it shows - 2 of the 3 dryers in the coin op laundry were broken and only 3 washers & 3 dryers for a large complex like this was not enough. We loved Winter Park skiing, dining and the beautiful vistas but would not stay at Silverado II again.

Silverado II

It was a great stay for the most part. Extremely easy check-in and the VRBO had lots of extras to use for cooking there instead of having to go out to eat for every meal. That helped a lot! But, the games in the arcade room were pretty much broken, the hot tub wasn’t very hot, and there weren’t enough towels for swimming pool/hot tub. Both are poorly managed and not kept well. Also, a family of 5 staying in a VRBO and we were only given 6 towels, that’s basically having to use ONE towel per person for 6 days. That’s not ideal at all, especially with kids. I’d highly recommend there be extra towels. We never even had time to do any laundry. There also wasn’t enough trash bags. Not sure if this was just an honest mistake or what. We had 2 to start with and they were full within three days. I looked everywhere and there weren’t any extras and I wasn’t going to go buy a box of trash bags to end up leaving there. Contacted the host and never actually heard anything back. Overall, it was a great stay. We will be back to Winter Park but will have to stay elsewhere as we will be bringing more family next time! Thanks for a fabulous vacation!

Beautiful Condo

Our family of five stayed for a week during spring break. The Silverado II is a neat location because it offers a lot of square footage. This particular unit has been beautifully remodeled, which made for an even more enjoyable stay. A couple of FYIs. The elevator does not go up to the room level, but there are luggage carts available, which can be taken most of the way and this unit is only one level up. So it was not much of an inconvenience. There are also train tracks close by, but after skiing all day we rarely noticed them. Overall, I would give this place more than 5 stars if I could. The recent remodel was very well done. The condo is also well appointed and thoughtfully organized. The owner is very attentive as well. Other hosts could take notes from Todd. I would certainly recommend this place to others. Thanks for a wonderful week.

Our family lives outside of Denver, and travels up to our Winter Park condo several weekends per year. When we are not using the condo we love to have friends, family, and other rentors use the condo.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Winter Park has the most authentic feel of any ski resort in Colorado. There are no fur coats, furry boots, celebrities, etc. There are a bunch of people that like to ski and ride in the winter, bike and hike in the summer, and enjoy all the other activities in between. There are great restaurants with a wide variety of cuisines, outdoor concerts in summer, music, food and art festivals, bike races and many events and activities.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Todd enjoys skiing Mary Jane skiing, XC skiing the local trails, mountain biking all over the valley, and fly fishing on the nearby Colorado and Fraser rivers.
Corinne sometimes skis on fair weather days, and loves XC skiing and snowshoeing, hiking and biking with our dog. As the kids grow up they don't use the pool as much as they did when they were younger, but they like to join their parents skiing, bike rides, and just relaxing in the condo.
