Villa Makambu, un estilo caribeño contemporáneo con impresionantes vistas de la hermosa bahía de Marigot y el océano caribeño. La villa se encuentra en el lado sur de la bahía de Marigot.
Toda la villa (3750 sq. Ft.), El nivel superior e inferior, consta de 4 amplios dormitorios con camas king size, un dormitorio con 2 camas individuales de una habitación pequeña con un sencillo, un altillo con una cama queen size y área de descanso de TV . Todas las habitaciones están equipadas con ventiladores de techo y ventiladores de piso, gran armario, mosquitero,
4 baños (dos en cada nivel), 2 cocinas amplias (uno en cada nivel), piezas en cada nivel de vida, todos los de apertura en amplias terrazas con puertas de persiana para restaurantes y entretenimiento con vistas espectaculares.
La propiedad está rodeada de jardines con una amplia selección de árboles frutales, palmeras y flores del Caribe para darle la bienvenida en el espíritu de la hermosa St-Lucia.

Alrededores de Villa Makambu: La villa es un 15-20 minutos a pie hasta la playa, a los restaurantes, bancos, panadería, tiendas y vida nocturna. Family Trip

We celebrated my retirement and my wife’s birthday with our Family. It was a great location to get away from the busy resort scene. We had meals prepared every other night and they were very tasty and filling. Pascale, Anthea, Noah and Noel were all very responsive and provided amazing service.

Great birthday celebration

We had the most wonderful time at villa makambu! The house is gorgeous, and Marigot bay was definitely our favorite spot on the island. Anthea was fantastic, as was the food cooked by Anselma. Highly highly recommend!

Absolutely incredible!

Take all your dreams about a house in paradise and double them! House is beautiful with lovely wooden doors, a wooden pool deck, great walk-in showers, well equipped kitchens, gorgeous balconies with amazing views of Marigot harbor! We occupied the whole complex with our 16 member family and never felt crowded! Pool is large and beautiful. There is a property manager (Anthea) there daily to arrange anything you need or want! She is wonderful and very knowledgeable and efficient! Gardeners and pool crew showed up twice during our stay as did a maid for new linens and towels. You don’t need to bring anything except personal items as all necessities are provided.

Beautiful Property, Friendly Staff

The property is beautiful and all of the rooms were nice. We stayed in mid February and it was cool enough at night that not having AC was a non issue. They do provide several fans in every room in addition to the ceiling fans if you need them. We were mostly concerned about bug nets being needed, but they were not needed at all during our week stay.Anthea was so easy to communicate with and friendly. Daryl and Noelle were wonderful for shuttles needed around town.We would definitely stay at this property again!

Beautiful villa with the most amazing views. Aircon would have been the icing on the cake. No food shops in Marigot bay so had to use taxi,s to supermarket on a regular basis

Awesome views, Great Villa

We loved our stay at the Villa. We came with 8 couples and everything was perfect. Anthea was awesome at helping us get an airport transfer, taxi to the store and recommend a massage therapist and more. We hired chef Joel and team and the food was absolutely amazing. We hired Jacky the massage therapist for massages at the villa. We def recommend walking down to the bay in the morning for coffee,breakfast and quiet morning. It’s an easy walk down , the walk up is uphill but not horrible. There are some wild barking dogs but harmless in the neighborhood. We did a 1/2 day charter on the mango tango cataraman to the pitons and mud bath, so fun. Def recommend that too. All in all a great stay, def recommend for a peaceful relaxing trip.

Paradise within a Paradise

Pictures are wonderful but do not do the property justice...the property is so much more. The views were stunning and the pool was amazing. We had 16 adults and two infants and had all the space we needed with the two houses. Pascale was so helpful to us as we had never been to the island with recommendations and suggestions. Anthea, the house manager was available everyday as well with a friendly and welcoming attitude. We used a driver for our crew (Anthea's husband Moses) and they took us all over the island, giving us as much or as little information as we wanted. This was one of my very best VRBO experiences and I cannot say enough.

Our first communication with the host was very professional yet gave off this trust and confidence that things would be awesome. Pascale was always ready to answer questions in a timely manner. Our interaction with Anthea the manager of the property was second to none, she is well informed and greeted us with such care and appreciation. Such a spectacular view from the Villa. Only thing I would recommend is getting the road to the Villa In better shape. You have to be careful with a low vehicle. The 17 of us would return to the Villa anytime.. Again great property!!!

Absolutely Amazing

From my first contact with Pascale the owner, this was a positive experience. Anthea, the house manager was amazing. She answered many questions before we arrived,& set up reservations. She was super friendly and helpful. We hired Moses to drive us for the entire trip and it was a great decision. He was wonderful and accommodating! The house was beautiful and we had everything we needed. We were a scout troop with 11 teenage girls and there was plenty of space. Anthea and Moses went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and helped us with everything. I highly recommend this place!

Anthea the property manager was fabulous!

We had a group of 11 ladies in their 50's for a 7 night stay. Anthea and her husband Moses completely took care of us. Moses drove us all over the island. Anthea made all dinner reservations, picked up food and wine for us, booked a chef for us and a whole lot more. The property is beautiful and very large. It is a tropical setting with fabulous views. I would say the only down side is walking down to the beach area and bars is not easy. It is very dark at night so walking home is not a option. However Moses was always available when we needed. I would absolutely recommend this property!

Amazing Trip

We had the most amazing trip to St. Lucia, we traveled with 12 adults and actually could have had at least 3 more with plenty of room. Having 3 kitchens was perfect as we do most of the cooking while we vacation. The house manager was so helpful and accommodating. She has a taxi service and using her rather than driving made the trip much more relaxing. The views of the property are amazing. We did have some concerns that the property didn't have air conditioning but with the house wide open and the breeze, it couldn’t have been more comfort for sleeping. The pool was so wonderful, we had pool floats and 12 people using the pool with plenty of room. For the most part if you do your own cooking we had everything we could have needed in the kitchen as well. One of our most favorite houses (our 10 year of traveling like this) and St Lucia is so beautiful.

Everything and more!

I don’t even know where to begin…wow!! We came into the trip with high expectations, and Villa Makambu did not disappoint! Pascal was super helpful answering our questions before we arrived. Anthea was absolutely amazing!! She helped to make sure our visit was flawless. The villa itself was absolutely beautiful! We walked to Marigot Bay one day and to the private lagoon the other day. The walk back up is brutal, but doable. The one and only complaint we had was the ambient noise. Now, this could not be helped or changed, but there were several dogs in the area that barked at all hours of the day. Normally it wouldn’t be a problem, but when you don’t have doors/windows to block the noise, you hear everything. This didn’t take away from our absolutely amazing time there. We took full advantage of the chef and had our meals cooked for us every night. Everyone agreed this was a highlight of staying at the villa. The food was so good! If you’re even thinking about this place, do it!!!

Wonderful stay for group of friends!

Just returned from a 7 night stay at Villa Makambu where we celebrated my wife's 40th birthday with a group of friends. We had 9 people in their 40's and 50's and we used 5 of the bedrooms in the property. There was more than enough room for everyone to have privacy and each couple had their own bathroom. The villa was just as described and the pictures in the listing are very accurate. The property was very clean, the views were amazing and the pool was a beautiful place to relax. The property was well stocked with supplies, and I was surprised at the size of the showers - huge. We were worried about the lack of air conditioning, but there were plenty of fans everywhere. Although it was often warm, it was bearable, and I wouldn't have traded out the island ambiance of the open air setting for AC. But what really made this property stellar was the owner and the staff. Communication with the owner was fantastic and she was very patient with all of my questions, made great recommendations and helped arrange everything perfectly. Anthea is the most gracious hostess and made sure we always had everything we needed. She made all of our reservations and had great recommendations. Her husband, Moses, was always ready with the van whenever we needed a ride (which was often). We even enjoyed attending the Friday night street festival with the 2 of them. I would not hesitate to recommend Villa Makambu for larger groups. Thanks Villa Makambu!

Beautiful property

We had a party of 10 stay at the entire property in June 2022. The property is very nice and very well kept. The views from the property into the bay are gorgeous. The staff was lovely and very helpful-from places to see, to helping arrange excursions, providing transportation and even grocery pick up. We really enjoyed our time and have lasting memories.

Villa très bien équipée avec vue splendide sur la baie de Marigot. Petite plage accessible à pied (15min). Accès villa en voiture par un chemin très pentu (préférer le parcourir de jour). Très bien situé entre les Pitons et Pigeon Island (1h de route ou bateau taxi). Manager de la villa au petit soin pour nous donner des bons plans. Seule remarque : villa avec brasseurs d’air mais pas de climatisation (suffisant en saison sèche).

A little piece of heaven

Thank you Pascale for having us at your magical place, it truly is as beautiful and more as the property pictures on the VRBO website. We were 12 of us, 3 families and all of us had plenty of space and privacy, and still close to have a fun time at the pool together. The villa was well stocked with essentials and a short trip to Maccy’s for shopping groceries and a trip to Castries to the farmers market that supplied us with fresh fruit and vegetables for the week. The views are spectacular from the villa. We enjoyed snorkeling with Cuthbert and his companion who gave us a tour all the way to Soufrier on their boat with lots of great information about the island. We hiked the big Piton, a must in my book, very strenuous and steep but worth the view, just gorgeous, and the Sulfur mudd bath relieved all our achy bones. Some of us went fishing with Mike and others went horseback riding all arranged by Pascale, who couldn’t have been more helpful. We had a most delicious supper with the Barracuda and the Mackerel that was caught that day. Marigot Bay is quaint and beautiful with plenty of little restaurants to eat at. We rented a car, the roads are very windy and narrow, but once you get used to driving on the left, we all felt almost like we were the locals speeding. For the faint hearted, hire a driver. I recommend bringing a good amount of cash for some excursions that did not accept credit cards, and the amount of money in the ATM is often limited. All the locals were super friendly and helpful. It truly was a wonderful and memorable week for all of us. We thank Pascale and Saint Lucia! Claudia and family

Simply paradise

A group of us stayed at Villa Makambu for my wedding. From beginning to end it was a wonderful experience. St. Lucia is home to me but we normally stay in the South of the island - however Villa Makambu comes a close second. The Villa is well equipped with everything you need for your stay - and Pascale is a gracious and welcoming host. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Most beautiful property for a group in Marigot Bay

We had such an amazing time in Marigot Bay! This property was absolutely perfect for our group of 11. It had breathtaking views and was so clean. Pascale was the best host and helped us plan a private chef, transportation and more. This property is a bit of a hike up the hill, so we found it perfect to have a car rental to get up and down, but you can easily walk down.

Villa Makumba was AMAZING!!!

My friends and I stayed at Villa Makumba for my 34th birthday and it was absolutely amazing. It was 11 of us but the Villa accommodates many more. Pascals the owner of the Villa was awesome. Prior to our stay we communicated with each other(she was very prompt with communication) about the COVID restrictions and what it was that we should expect. Because of the COVID restrictions Pascale provided us with the best concierge service. She stocked the Villa with groceries, helped with scheduling tours around the island, as well as assisted us with restaurant and local catering options. She also went over and beyond with assisting my friends with a view birthday surprises. The Villa had a spectacular view and was very peaceful. Moses our driver for the weekend was very helpful as well. I’ve been telling everyone about Pascale and Villa of Makumba since we left and I will be back after COVID is over!

Fantastic vacation at Villa Makambu

We loved staying at Villa Makambu, waking up every morning to a breathtaking view of Marigot Bay with the sun lighting up the bay and the ocean. And the sunsets were wonderful as well. Pascale was a fantastic host, checking in with us every day, ensuring our safety in terms of COVID and helping with our excursions/day trips. Pascale went out of her way to find us options for various trips and often did things at short notice which was highly appreciated. The property was wonderful - clean, had everything we needed... we liked having US outlets, strong wifi and even cable TV (as we were there on New Year's Eve). The pool was very good to have also. Can't say enough good things about it. It is a strange time to travel with COVID and there were a lot of requirements pre, peri and post trip, but it all worked out very well. We look forward to going again, post COVID. We just love St. Lucia!!!

My family of 13 (9 adults and 4 children) spent 4 amazing days. The house has a breathtaking view of the bay. Pascale was very responsive prior to our arrival. Carlos, the caretaker, helped us organize daily trips, cooked us a delicious dinner and provided valuable local information. I also highly recommend Smally ‘s transportation services. He is great. We would love to return to this villa soon.

Beautiful place!!!!

Carlos and Miranda were extremely friendly and offered good ideas and activities to do around the island! Also had the chance to meet the owner and she was very delightful and hospitable. We had a great time and love the secluded area, but enjoy the proximity to the restaurants and Marigot Bay. Hope to come back soon! Thank you for a great Christmas holiday Villa Makambu.

Fabulous Villa

Stayed there for a week with 3 other couples. We had both floors! The villa is beautiful and very well maintained. Fully stocked with all necessities. Josee and Carlos are such a huge benefit at the villa. Josee helped us with excursions and basic island information. Carlos cooked for us twice and the meals were delicious. He also took us on a book trip one day to visit other parts of the island. Smiley was waiting for us at the airport and stopped by the grocery store on our way to the villa. He also escorted us on two day trips to different parts of the island. I would not recommend renting a car as the terrain is hilly with winding roads.....use Smiley. Everyone knows him and he gives you a personal touch to your adventure. We really enjoyed the open verandas and the pool. We had housekeeping 3 days and every detail was touched! The view is spectacular. We had dinner twice in Marigot Bay which was fun and very tasty. Such a lovely place!! Pascale was very easy to work with and we emailed several times.

Excellent experiece

We stayed at this property it was a wonderful experience. Carlos the personal attendant took great care of us. I can't wait to come back to this property
