We had a great stay! Fun little suite has everything we needed -- beach equipment and even hiking poles. The suite is thoughtfully made with a good bedroom, bathroom, kitchen area, and living room. We enjoyed it!

Kauai stay

The property is pretty much as advertised. It was very well equipped the supplies for the beach, towels etc. The only things missing were directions on how to use the TV's, which are huge, and appliances, including the external single burner which we never did get to work. Very quite neighborhood and good location.

Nice spot for a couple, watch out for golf balls

The Good: convenient location in Princeville, well maintained and clean The Odd: Only one water glass and no logical place to dine (low coffee table, desk, no stools at kitchen counter) The frustrating: golf ball from the nearby course smashed our rental car windshield, unable to reach management company on weekend when it happened, no support assistance

There are now 2 bar stools at the kitchen counter. It has been added to the description photos. Sorry to know a golf ball damaged your car. Hopefully, you were able to report that to your car rental agency. Unfortunately, that's the risk of having this home on the golf course. It's surprising to see that you were unable to reach the management company. There are 3 phone numbers provided in both the rental agreement and in the entry instructions correspondence to call. There was no record of you calling or leaving a voicemail. Your email was received and a timely response was provided. Despite these glitches during your stay, we trust you were able to enjoy the beautiful scenery and fun activities this island offers. Thank you, Remax Kauai Management

Even Better than Expected

I realized one thing after traveling to Hawai’i, photos don’t do anything there justice and that includes this rental! It was even better and more comfortable than expected. I will admit, we chose a place based on value because I did not anticipate being inside very much while being there, but after having to unexpectedly be inside for several days, we couldn’t have asked for a better place.

Time to update the beach equipment photo

This is a 5 star rental but with 2 negatives. 1. The beach equipment shown in the listing is not accurate. I left my snorkel equipment at home given the listing showed that snorkel equipment was available. Turns out that no snorkel equipment was available. I spoke to the unit manager at Remax who advised that the equipment was removed as too dangerous. Seems odd as the beach equipment available does include 2 boogie boards which given the waves in Kauai seems way more dangerous than snorkeling.2. The bed is super soft, so if you have back issues like me beware.

Beautiful Home and Neighborhood

This in-law suite style place has everything you need. The hosts are a lovely couple that were even nice enough to let us check out late for our late flight. Great king bed. Plenty of room for a couple even if you had 1-2 kids sleep on pull out couch. AC was great! High Ceilings, huge fans, large windows, lots of light! Short walk to Anini Beach or you can even drive to a parking spot to the trail to the beach that is nearly private if you take the trail. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect!

Wonderful location within walking distance of restaurants and groceries, and such a charming house!! So comfortable for 2 friends. One of us did stay on the pull-out sofa, and no complaints other than the mattress was maybe a little saggy. FYI it was kind of lofted, in that the bedroom wall isn’t fully to the ceiling and there there is connection with the living room…if that matters to you. That was the only thing I didn’t realize from the listing, but it wasn’t a problem for us. Beach chairs/accessories were wonderful to have! They also have an amazing bidet, which I had never experienced before. I promptly bought one and had it shipped home for me, don’t miss this!

The unit is an amazing with a getaway landscape outside the main window. We always appreciated talking with our host as we explored Kaua'i. Neighborhood is great and fun meeting some of the neighbors. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone and mahalo for hosting us at Emmalani Suite!

It's location is convenient to a grocery store, restaurants in Hanalei (Tahiti Nui and the Dolphin were amazing), and hiking trails along the Napali coast( Kalalau is a must!)and down to Queens Bath (very close). Keurig wasn't working and owner replaced it same day. House was clean, spacious for 2 of us, and well stocked in kitchen and bathroom. Owners labeled everything, including light switches. Made good use of the beach chairs, didn't snorkel but the gear was provided. Would definitely recommend!
