Huge house

House was very accommodating for our large extended family. Lots of parking and well stocked kitchen. Plenty of room to spread out. Good outdoor space with plenty of seating for fire pit. Couldn’t see the lake from the house, but lake was beautiful, deep and had lots of coves and bays to explore.

Well stocked kitchen

18 of us stayed at wild wild west and visited Wisp ski resort daily. We cooked breakfast and dinner at the house. The kitchen had everything we needed. Plenty of good sized coffee mugs, utensils, dishes, pots and pans, and 2 dishwashers. It was great for our large group. The house was spacious. Plenty of rooms for adults and kids to have their space apart and together for meals. I would stay at this house again.

Super Bowl Weekend

The rental process was great. The property was decent, some of the furniture was aged and well worn. The refrigerator was mess and we had to clean it before using it. Otherwise it was a nice place and had a great time.

The warming tray was so nice. 2 dishwashers saved us a lot of clean up time. Passes to the State Park or to the Garrett Community Pool would have been nice. The weather was Rainey and cool.

House was nice size to hold everyone.

Living room and dining area was nice size to seat everyone together. Could have been cleaner, furniture was worn and several fixtures (ceiling fan, lights) did not work. Mold present in one of the bathrooms, grill needs replaced. Worked good for a weekend stay.

the place was nice but needed repairs. Numerous items were broken refig drawer, ice maker, drawers.

The place was nice but was getting dated and could use some upgrading. The property inside was not the clean. Toilets and bathrooms were not that clean,floors were dirty,the place was dusty, tv in master bedroom did not work properly. I would probably not stay at this place again.

Absolutely Relaxing

House was very comfortable for a family & friends group consisting of 9 people. Just enough room for all of us to gather in the main living room and eat at the dining table. We very much appreciated the abundance of space, dishes, games, firewood, etc. Only item to improve upon would be washing the blankets in the living room between guests. They felt a bit grimy. Otherwise, it was perfect stay!

We've been coming to Deep Creek over President's Day weekend for nearly 15 years, and this is the first time we re-booked the same property. It was spacious and comfortable for our group, had perfect sleeping arrangements, large televisions, a huge table and kitchen for meal prep, and a great family room space. Our only recommendation would be to eventually update to a larger hot tub; it seemed small for the size group the house can accommodate.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We checked in on Friday evening and basically had a stay cation with all of our friends and kids. A few of us left for a short trip to the slopes foe some tubing, while the rest of us just hung out at the house. Kitchen was so wonderfully stocked for a party our size. We cooked every meal. Overall a great house for 6 families to stay in. Lots of space for the kids to hang separately from the adults as well.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Annual family ski trip. This was our first time staying at Wild Wild West and we really likes it! The living room, family room downstairs and loft upstairs were spacious so we had plenty of room to gather. The property was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. A few downsides--the doors to the deck were extremely difficult to open and close which was an issue because we used the hot tub frequently. Speaking of the hot tub, it was nice but very small for the size of the house and number of guests that would typically use it. The heat was inconsistent throughout the house. There were multiple thermostats but it was hard to get an even temperature. Some rooms were hot and some were cold. Overall though-a great stay and I'd highly recommend this house for a large group!

We had 12 adults and one baby with us during our stay and there was plenty of room to spread out and relax. The kitchen was a bit small but the layout made it super easy for a group of us to cooontogether Andrew prepare our meals. The living room furniture was so comfy too!! We will definitely book this home again.

Due to age of property, some things did not work smoothly (sliding doors and blinds). Due to design, there is little soundproofing between floors. Perfect House for Multi-generational Family

Reviewer Comments: We rented the property for our entire family of 10 - three families in total from a 3 year old to a 72 year old. In general, it was a wonderful week. Everyone had their own space and we had lots of areas to gather. If people are traveling with young children the railroad museum is a must especially on Wednesdays when they have a story time and an art activity. When we arrived, the bathroom ceiling below the main floor bedroom bathroom was leaking with the ceiling falling down. Maintenance came fixed the leak by replacing the seal; also fixed the AC which was not working to its capacity. They actually came on a Sunday! Suggestions - the air conditioning compressor made a very loud noise whenever it was on; it needs to be serviced so the noise level is reduced. The dryer needs servicing; had to dry items for long periods of time before sufficiently dry. Waste of electricity. We finally just dried things on the deck which worked well. Out of the two coffee pots only one worked and only one blender worked; one was missing a part. The sunlight comes into some of the bedrooms early in the morning; they need to provide blackout shades. To be greener, need to have recycling bin. Should supply soap in bathrooms and provide a list of items one should bring. Neighbor vacationers were very loud one evening after the 11:00 suggested time. Were loud until almost 2. Not sure what you could do. If we came back again, we would choose a house that did not have a shared dock.

We really enjoyed the house, the location, the lake and docks, and the town. Place was clean and well maintained. Sleeping for 18 is a bit of a stretch as 4 places are sleeper sofas one of which is broken. But we loved the place and would go back. Brenda's pizza and Mountain State Brewing Co. were both excellent places to eat. Trader's coffee also nice.
