Nuestro hogar se encuentra en la comunidad cerrada de Palo Alto en Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Es un espacio al aire libre de lujo, piscina, parrilla y espacio de cubierta, ¡le ofrece vistas espectaculares del Océano Pacífico!

La entrada se abre a un comedor formal y cocina. No se han ahorrado gastos en los dispositivos o el diseño. La sala de estar tiene un televisor de 50 ".
La planta baja tiene un dormitorio con una cama queen. El baño principal en el segundo piso incluye vistas desde el piso al techo del Océano Pacífico con una increíble ducha y un increíble baño con jacuzzi.

I wish we could have stayed longer. Absolutely amazing property. James was very accommodating and prompt with retuning all of my texts. The place was spotless. So clean and inviting. Quiet spot up in the hills with a incredible view of the tree canopies and bay. When we return I will definitely reconnect and stay here again.

Playa Hermosa perfection

Host and house managers have excellent communication, we enjoyed the home and area completely. View is astounding. Plenty of activities in town, including restaurants, jet ski, snorkel, even a pickle ball court!We’ve stayed at several homes in past but this is by far the best. Look forward to returning.

Wonderful property to relax with beautiful views

We very much enjoyed the property with our family of five. We stayed 7 nights in Dec 2024. Lots of room, four nice bedrooms, great ocean view from the patio. Other than a daily 4 mile walk, we preferred to stay at the pool rather than the beach. Would recommend.

Wow! What a view!

We loved this place! Stunning view of the ocean! Clean, very spacious, easy to get to….only 5 mins. drive to Playa Hermosa Lots of restaurants close by Michael was great to deal with (and very quick to respond via text) We highly recommend this property and would love to return!

Beautiful home with great views and pool! Can’t wait to go back!!! The home is gorgeous.

Our group of 4 couples loved this home! Great communication! The home is close enough to the beach and restaurants by car, has wonderful views, gated security and privacy! We loved the pool area and gazebo! Each bedroom has its own attached bathroom which was very appealing!

Amazing view - large property with all amenities - nature at its best - Playa Hermosa is a small beach community with great restaurants and wonderful people - host/support staff were great, easy to communicate with and went out of their way to ensure our stay was pleasurable. I suggest you rent their vehicle as the road/laneway to house is steep.

Awesome experience!

This was our first Costa Rican vacation with the family and it turned out to be an awesome trip. The home was clean and very well maintained! It offered stellar views of the water with a beautiful and well maintained pool! The house was spacious and well appointed. James was incredibly helpful and responsive. In fact, our arrival was later than anticipated so we initially had difficulty locating the property; however, James met us and led us in...much appreciated! We are sincerely looking forward to another visit NEXT year!

Amazing stay!

We had an incredible time! The house is everything we hoped it would be, clean, spacious, comfortable and the view is breathtaking. The communication was excellent both before and during our stay. Meeting the house manager for check in was very helpful She provided us with some great area tips and get a good lay of the land. We didn't have many issues, but she was incredibly responsive to any request we had. This home is quiet, safe and private. It is surrounded by nature and and beautiful. has big rooms and would be great for families to enjoy. The kitchen is stocked with the plenty to prepare and enjoy meals. We truly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it to others. Thanks to James and team for allowing us to enjoy your home!

First family trip in 5 years

We took our three adult children and their significant others on this trip. It was amazing. The house was perfect for four couples with a bathroom for each room. The pool overlooked the ocean and we had a beautiful sunset to watch every night from it. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking our own meals if we felt like staying home. The location was extremely close to town and the beach, less than a 5 minute drive. There is also a cute local market for essentials within 5 minutes. Both the home owner and the property manager were easily accessible by text TJ answer any questions both prior to our trip and during. We will definitely be returning.

Nice house with some cleaning issues

The house is very nice in a nice place, but when we stayed the pool wasn't very clean and functioning properly. Also, you have to pay a cleaning fee that doesn't cover taking out the trash. Wich has to be done with a car because the trash unit y very far from where the house is located.

Poorly Maintained, Not as Advertised

There was no hot water in master bath (or closet). The downstairs guest bathroom was broke for 2 weeks. The pool was rarely an infinite since the pump was broken. No access to garage or separate quarters. Sleeps 8 not 10. There are only 4 patio chairs. The property was barely cleaned. The bathrooms were filled with all of the owners' toiletries (disgusting). The plumbing clogged and the downstairs filled with 2 inches of water. Oh and we had to fill the propane tank at out own expense. James was very unhelpful.

Amazing house with incredible views

My family of 5 stayed here for 5 nights. The house is just incredible, with stunning views from every room. It is only half a mile from the beach in a safe gated community. Working with Krystyna (Spouse of owner) was extremely easy and she was very helpful. She had the caretaker meet us when we arrived to show us the house. The caretaker made himself available for any questions we had throughout the week and then met us at the house to get the keys as we were leaving at the end of our trip. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely home. Beautiful views! Very clean and comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay at this home and had no issues. The home was clean and the caretakers were welcoming and had everything ready for our arrival. The home is updated, well maintained and everything was in working order. The views for sunset could not have been better. We enjoyed watching the sun set every night from the infinity edge pool. The water level of the pool was too low for the water to flow over the edge- but being aware of the hot, dry season I was more concerned with water conservation than the water flowing below. We felt very safe as the house is in a gated community and has a gated drive. It is up a steep hill that can be difficult to walk up. I would definitely recommend renting this home if you are staying in this region of Costa Rica!

Beautiful home. Lovely views and local coastal village atmosphere.

I guess the most important review you can make is would you go back? The answer is yes. The view is fantastic, the home is amazing and filled with high quality hardware and construction. There are views of the ocean from almost every room, with breathtaking 25ft tall windows in the living room. The infinity pool was terrific and maintained daily. The bedding and beds, at least the 2 kings upstairs were the most comfortable Ive felt in a long time at any rental. Over head fans and AC system kept the house cool. We had a major/minor problem with they “away” programming of the thermostats that would reset to 90F but that was soon fixed by Tony and we also got a handle on it eventually. The kitchen was very well stocked and very well appointed. The outdoor grill was spotless and fully functional. The dishwasher was broken and as much as a problem as that might have been the house and view eventually made up for that after the initial bummer of not having one. Since the owners use this house sometime during the year the closet in the master bedroom was unavailable but could be worked around. The town of Playa Hermosa is wonderful. We stayed at the height of the Easter Costa Rican Holiday and found the beach slowly filling primarily with Costa Rican families. There are not Americanized resorts or tourist garbage that comes with it closeby. You have a feeling of mixing with everyone as a local on a Holiday. The people were friendly with a few of the typical people trying to carry your bag or take you on a tour, all polite, but forward. The live-in keepers of this home(in a completely separate but attached residence), Tony and Yolanda were warm and a wonderful addition to make our stay as pleasant as possible. They made food recommendations, places to go, things to see. Tony helped keep everything running and tried fix anything that had a problem. The deck was swept daily, and in a word perfect. It was always a pleasure to talk to either one during our stay. Hopefully, this home will not become an overused rental, because I believe a few of the systems would need to be replaced with frequent use and I’ve seen gorgeous homes turn into a mess because of overuse. We also went during the end of the dry season, and it was DRY! Everything appeared dead, except the cactus and a few hardy trees. I’ve seen photos during the wet season and I don’t recognize the place, green everywhere. 15 min walk to beach, store close by. Thanks for sharing your home!

Indeed a fantabulous (fantastic + fabulous) place to stay in Playa Hermosa. The house ( Mansion) is absolutely awesome. The view is magnificent and the infinity pool feels as if you are in the pacific ocean. The place is very secure with gated security guards 24 ×7. I would definitely go back. The owner is a great guy. Thank you james for having us.

Cant wait to go back!

I stayed at this property on January 2010 and I had such a wonderful time. I have used vrbo.com before and had a good experience and wanted to visit Costa Rica. I came upon this beautiful home and it was just my style. It is a beautiful modern home on top of a mountain with drop dead ocean views. Every room in this house has ocean view. My family and I spent most of our time in the patio where the swimming pool is located. their outdoor shower is a huge plus! the furniture in this house is just the way i like it- modern! its not of any costa ricas local furniture or old fashion- it matches perfectly with the house. we grilled every day and just relaxed by the pool side. wireless internet in this house is great- i was on it half of my vacation to check in with my kids back at home. this house has a 3 car garage and 2 parking spots on their driveway so if you rent a car there is plenty of space. we had a cleaning lady every 2 days and she did a phenominal job. the owner of this house- james is wonderful. Any questions we had- he got back to us right away. we didnt want to use the phone becuase of the cost- so we emailed him and he emailed us always within 10 minutes- so that was great. i definitely would reccomend this house/castle to anyone who is looking for a modern/clean/luxuirous/speacious home rental with incredible views. the price is just right and worth every dollar you spent. there are endless things to do in playa hermosa/gunacasta area- shopping, restaurants, fishing, atv, snorkeling, beaches, etc..this house would work for anyone- families, honeymooners, or group of friends. I will be back- james- i just hope you have an openeing for me!! :)

Paradise in Costarica

This house was great! It had a backup generator and wireless internet. If we had any questions James was always available on his cell with any questions we had. We loved the music that you could hear from the resort at night so relaxing. The location was great it was close to playa coco and Ginger Restaurant which was in front of the subdivision which had great food. Be back next year! Mark Abrahams.
