Lovely home. Close access to the beach and pool. Nice neighborhood. Easy check-in, clean facility. Kitchen had all we needed for the week. Plenty of bath towels and beach towels, as well as chairs and some other beach items. Plenty of comfy seating for our large family to enjoy movies together. And plenty of table space for us to enjoy our meals together. Recommend!

Wonderful time

It was perfect. Everybody had a wonderful time. The pool was right out our front door just a short walk to the beach. If you need a nice place to stay, this is where you need to stay.

Family Vacation

My family enjoyed a wonderful week at Destin 2 Be. Apartment downstairs was perfect for my parents. Lots of space for everyone to spread out. Close to the beach. New coffee spot on the corner. Fantastic house for multi generational family.

Destin dream

This house gave our extended family plenty of room for sleeping, gathering, and having privacy. The lower level apartment was great for our daughter and boyfriend and their pooch. We stayed on the middle level and it was convenient to have our bedroom, kitchen, living room all on one level. The upper level was perfect for my other daughter and her family…..the kiddos loved the bunk beds! The location to the beach was perfect. We were far enough from the road not to hear the traffic but an easy walk. The pool initially didn’t seem to be heated but a couple days later it was, not sure if there is a timeline that the heater is turned on. The grandkids loved the pool and the closeness of the pool to the house was great. They went in every night after spending the day on the beach. The beach is beautiful, soft sand. We brought our own beach wagon but the owner had 2 available and beach chairs too, so we never had to bring the ones we brought to the beach. A few restaurants are close enough to walk to, or a very short drive. The biggest disappointment, and it wasn’t the owners’ fault, was that dogs are not allowed on the beach. We might have looked for another location that did allow dogs. The owner always responded quickly with any questions/concerns we had.

Great big home

This home is nice and big. It accommodated our group really well - 4 couples. It's easy to get to the beach. Nice area with good restaurant options. Host was very responsive and pleasant to work with. Beds were comfortable.

Squeeze the Day!

Squeeze the Day! was our family theme for the week and this property exemplified the wonderful experience we had! It was so spacious, clean, offered easy access to the beach, pool, tennis court, and more. It allowed our family to experience so much togetherness in the main family room while offering each family their own space when they wanted some alone time. I highly recommend it!

Great Family Vacation spot!

We had the best time on our family vacation! We had 7 adults and 6 kids and this house was perfect for all of us. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable for all. The kitchen/living room space was perfect for spending time together for meals and hangout time. The pool was right across from the house which made it so easy to access with kids. And the beach walk was super easy, truly a 3 minute walk. The beach was beautiful and the hosts were Super helpful and had quick responses when we needed anything. I would highly recommend this spot for your next vacation and we hope to come back another time!

Great family vacation!

This is such a beautiful house and so clean. Everything that was pictured in the rental description was exactly how I envisioned it to be and then some! Close walk to the beach, walking distance to restaurants, and across the street from the community pool. Only issue we had was lighting issues but I messaged owner and she personally called me and maintenance came next day to check and was fixed. We were a family of 13 which consisted of 3 families. One of those families enjoyed the apartment but just wished there was internal access from the apartment to the main house. Really enjoyed the beach chairs and two beach wagons. They came in handy. Will definitely stay here again when we travel with the whole family.

Enough room for everyone!

We were a family of eight adults and four children. Her house was lovely and very clean. I love that the beach towels were provided, which meant a lot less packing for us. The owner was very easy to reach when I had a question and her responses were quick. We would definitely rent again..

Wonderful place

The house was very clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The swimming pool and tennis courts are right across the street, and the beach is a short walk away. The kitchen is well supplied with everything you need for cooking, including a crock pot and food processor. The cabinets were labeled so that things were easy to find. The house is well maintained and in good working order. The hosts were very communicative and easy to reach when necessary.

Beautiful and spacious home in a great location

This house was perfect for our family. We had four couples and three kids and we had everything we needed. It’s right across the street from the beach and the community pool is only a few steps from the front door. We are already planning our next trip and we’ll definitely book this house again.

Great vacation spot

We had a wonderful time at this stay! Check in went smoothly and even sent us goodies our first night, such a wonderful gesture! Plenty of space for all 15 of us, very large bedrooms in the main house. Quick walk to the beach and the pool was steps from the front door! We enjoyed pickle ball, basketball and volleyball courts daily. Would stay here again, thank you!

Not for the elderly

Although this home is beautiful, our week was very taxing. There is a rather steep pitch to the driveway,and not having access to the garage made it necessary to park our vehicles on the sidewalk while loading or unloading everything. The winding staircases also made it very difficult carrying luggage,laundry, groceries etc. My family members were between 70-81 years old, and we all left our vacation exhausted. I must say that the host was very responsive when any issues arose. There was plenty of space in the open concept kitchen,dining and living room. We all enjoyed relaxing in the sunshine of the rear deck,and the beaches of Destin are beautiful! But, unless you have a few people with youth on their side, and no physical limitations this rental is not for you.

Family beach getaway

2nd year we've stayed in this beautiful house. Open kitchen & living area makes it easy to come together & prepare meals, also grilling out back & playing cornhole. Bedrooms are laid out to fit large family with even in law or teenager apt separate from main house. Love the bunkroom area fit 3 boys nicely age 7- 13. Lg bathrooms, laundry area also.

Great week with family

This house was true to the VRBO listing. Located a few steps from the beach, sleeping arrangements and other aspects of the house were accurate and very comfortable for our family of 11. One minor adjustment to description would help set expectations for renters - the downstairs apartment has no internal access to the rest of the house. Otherwise, wonderful property for a great week at the beach!

Just getting away from our home/work and decompressing. We have tried to create a retreat with this in mind. Family and friends getting together enjoying conversations, exercise, lounging on beach or by the pool, talking in the morning over bagels and coffee, and enjoying you evening eating with friends to finally retire to your own bedroom retreat to read or relax.
