Encantadora casa pequeña en un callejón de flores privado en el centro de París. Tranquilo y luminoso. El metro Goncourt (línea 11), a 5 minutos línea de metro 3,5 9,11. Muchos autobuses. Todas las tiendas, restaurantes, cervecerías y cafeterías. Cerca del Centro Pompidou, Notre Dame ......
2 grandes habitaciones de 35m2 cada una: la planta baja, una habitación grande con sala de estar (sofá cama), cocina equipada, ventanas y aseos. Primer piso en una habitación grande con un escritorio, un cuarto de baño con ducha y vestidor.


Esta pequeña casa es un remanso de paz en el corazón de una zona muy animada, muy cerca del centro histórico y cultural, esta zona es el corazón de la vida parisina actual. Desde la casa se puede hacer todo a pie, paseando a lo largo del canal Saint Martin con todos los restaurantes típicos de la vida de París, o pasear por el centro Beaubourg, en el histórico barrio de Marais.
Ideal para ir de compras y hacer turismo y vida nocturna.

A wonderful place to stay to explore Paris. Close to two Metro stations we were able to get to all the sites with little or no difficulty.The house was ideal, very quiet with all the facilities one might need. Close to many restaurants, our favourite being Bistro des Oies about 200 yards up Rue Bichet.

This property is absolutely extraordinary and we loved everything about it from the home itself to the lovely caretaker Fernanda and communications with the owner Kitsou. The neighbourhood was terrific with few tourists and a wonderful vibe. It was close to metro stations and the food options were great. Whilst we were staying there there were some unexpected waterworks going on in the alley limiting daytime use of water. Kitsou generously refunded some of the cost of our stay giving us more spending money in Paris. We even signed up for a Paint & Sip in the neighbourhood. Fabulous! Thank you Kitsou and Fernanda we will definitely be back one day.

Surprising slice of Paris

Lovely little house, in a very private lane. Accommodations very pleasant, host helpful and responsive. Great for a quiet getaway to work or for peace and quiet after a day of sight seeing. Conveniently located close to Place de la Republique, and all forms of public transportation.

Unique Paris Apartment

amazing stay!

this place is great! much bigger in person than online. My sister and I stayed it has everything you need! Also the location of this place is so great work tube access to the city plus so many great restaurants near by on Belleville. The place was supper clean and everyone was amazing and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend

Paris in the Springtime

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at this lovely little enclave in the 11th arrondissement! It was so peaceful and quiet inside the walled area. Such easy access to 2 different subway stops, eateries galore and a wonderful street vibe made this a fantastic place to spend our time. The apartment is lovely, clean and nicely furnished. If we ever return to Paris, we would stay here again without hesitation!

Wonderful stay in the 11th!

Beautiful bohemian 2 floor accommodation located in a double gated mews, all the necessities were provided and we had a really comfortable stay. Kitsou was fantastic in communication prior to our stay with instructions on how to arrive, codes etc. Within the immediate area you are spoilt for choice with restaurants and cafes. I would highly recommend!

Lovely, convenient apartment

Our stay at Kitsou’s apartment was perfect. The neighborhood was full of great markets, gourmet specialty shops, and a dedicated gluten free bakery. It was close to the Canal St Martin (great for running), the Metro, and a very lively neighborhood. The apartment was very quiet and cozy. I would stay again and highly recommend for active guests. Kitsou is wonderful and responsive host.

A peaceful haven

Kitsou’s property is a delight! A short walk from the Canal St Martin. Convenient to shops and metro. The apartment has modern equipment, spacious layout and is spotlessly clean. The concierge was very helpful on our arrival and arranging a taxi for our very early departure. Once you get through the two gates, it’s like walking into a little country lane. Delightful!

We Love This Rental

We we're traveling for about six weeks in Europe. We stayed at this property for a week upon arrival in Paris/Europe. And, after staying there, we were lucky to be able to book the property for our last 4-5 days in Paris before flying back to the States. We travel to Paris about once a year. We hope to be able to book this property again in the future. Very comfortable. Check in is super easy. Responsive host. Great metro options. Plenty of markets and restaurants in the area. We like going to shows at Le Zebra in Belleville. The proximity to the theater was among the reasons we selected this property, but we discovered so much more in the area. Can't wait to come back!

Can't wait to stay here again!

Everything about this property was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found the property exactly as described on the VRBO page. If you are looking to stay near some of the most popular Paris sites (Louvre, Notre Dame, Luxembourg Gardens, etc.) this may not be what you are looking for. But if you are looking for a place with convenient metro stops, cafes, markets and easy access to some of the parks and places my husband and I enjoy, including Buttes Chaumount and Belleville, this property is perfect. We spent 10 days here and would gladly rent this property again. We are two older people and the stairs were a little worrisome in the middle of the night, if you have any mobility or balance issues, but that's the only possible concern. Everything else was fantastic.

Comfortable, beautiful, private, quiet.

This place is both gorgeous and functional. It’s on a totally private and quiet alley (complete with a couple of cats from your neighbours), with a wonderful homey feel to it. A wall of windows on the main floor lets in light across a ledge holding a myriad of vintage art objects. The kitchen area is large and functional; the dining table likewise and there is a couch and a large coffee table with interesting books and magazines stored underneath. The bedroom upstairs is large with high ceilings, large modern shower, and two skylights, and also has a built-in desk area, ideal for keeping your electronics, phones/iPads, etc. Of the three places we stayed in Paris, this was the one we will definitely come back to. The immediate area is very local, the canal very close, lots of large (Monoprix) and small (boulangerie, pattiseries, wine store, bistros) places to eat and buy necessities. A comfortable and lovely place to stay.

Parisian-living in a spacious home close to the canal.

Kitsou's place is strategically located. The Goncourt Metro entrance is just around the corner, providing convenient transport access to both airports and all the tourist attractions. On the street are snack stores and boulogeries visited by locals. A large Monoprix supermarket is a short walk away. Best of all, the canal is nearby with many good restaurants, boutique stores, and a large postoffice to send off postcards. Enjoyed good food and service at the restaurant while watching the local activity around one of the moveable bridges over the canal. Kitsou's home is fantastically spacious and well equiped for cooking. The rain shower, hair dryer, ironing board, and large mirrors are helpful when getting fashion-ready. There are also a TV and a radio to access local channels. The caretaker is very friendly; we got along well eventhough she does not speak English. Note that there is an additional cleaning fee to be paid if there is a mess for the caretaker to cleanup. Lovely Parisian-style hide-away for couples. Will definitely stay again when we return.

Great location but not ideal for older people

We loved the location, very close to the Canal St Martin, our favorite neighborhood. And the apartment is on a lovely private courtyard, so very quiet although right outside the gate are lively cafes, a great popular boulangerie, and the Metro is steps away. The apartment is clean and the downstairs living/dining area is a comfortable place to spend time. But we were surprised to find that there is a winding staircase up to the bedroom, and while the sink and shower are adjacent to the bedroom, the only toilet is on the first floor. For us, an older couple, that meant a challenging walk down the stairs in the middle of the night. When we arrived and I realized this, I reread the previous reviews and realized no one had mentioned this. I do think it is an important consideration when choosing a place to stay. We spent a week in the apartment and we're relieved we successfully maneuvered the stairs and toilet issue. The apartment could also use a few more amenities. There were no dinner sized plates, just small ones. We did cook dinners and would have appreciated larger plates.

Disappointing

On the positive side, the apartment is very well connected to explore Paris. It is also very nicely furbished, comfortable and looks very good, in fact much better than the pictures! We also had a warm welcome by the caretaker despite our late arrival – even later than planned due to flight delays. On the negative side, lack of proper cleaning was evident, especially on cookware and dishware, but it was also applicable to other utensils in the kitchen. Bed linen was no exception, especially the spare set of sheets. And this was not caused by an inadequate cleaning job after previous customers’ departure. In fact, the refrigerator gave off stink when opened – and the reason was simple: some packaged food leftovers from previous customers had been lying there for YEARS, according to their expiry dates! We had to throw away most of them and clean the fridge before storing our own goods. We would have been poisoned if we had mistakenly eaten any of that stuff! Yes, admittedly that food was not provided by the owner, but she is indeed responsible for providing a clean refrigerator and free of -literally- rotten food. In summary, under these circumstances I cannot recommend the apartment – which is a pity, because it’s really nice.

Tres bien accueillies par la gardienne, Toutes précisions données par la propriétaire avant la arrivee. La maison est spacieuse, arrangée avec goût, l environnement est un havre de silence. Y revenir serait une opportunité qui me réjouirait. Merci.

Cet appart est situé dans un quartier accessible avec plusieurs commerces de proximité. Il est spacieux et pourvu de tout ce dont on peut avoir besoin. Nous y retournerons certainement lors de notre prochain passage à Paris!
