La relajación es la palabra en esta cabaña completamente renovada y actualizada junto a la playa. Esta casa de 2-3 habitaciones lo tiene todo. Beba vino en una de las 2 cubiertas grandes. Uno que a menudo está sombreado (agradable para esos días calurosos), y el otro con una cómoda sección, mesa de bistro, pérgola, parrilla de gas y pozo de gas. Sweet stay in RI

We had a lovely stay. House is super clean and the homeowner is communicative and welcoming. Derek greeted us at the property and showed us around. Loved being able to walk to Matunuck Oyster Bar (make reservations in advance).

Exceptional house!

Our family had a great week at this house..very cozy, great yard and neighborhood, convenient to everything, and had all the comforts of home. Owner was gracious and showed us around, and gave his contact if needed in case we needed anything, which we didn't we were all set for the week.

Peace & Tranquility Beach Getaway

Our week at this beach cottage surpassed our expectations. This place is landscaped beautifully and is the perfect place to come back to rest after spending a day at the beach. We had a very quiet peaceful experience here. While It is close to area attractions, it feels like you’re far away from it all while you’re staying here. The host was very attentive and provided everything that one would need to have a perfect stay near the beach. We would love to come back here again.

Perfect location for RI beach stay

We stayed at the property for a week in July and had the best time. It was the perfect space for our family even with 2 little ones. The kitchen space was perfect for cooking fresh local seafood or eating take-out on the outdoor deck. We enjoyed having access to the outdoor showers and being able to use the kayaks with just a short walk to the water. Even with COVID19, we had the best time. We communicated with the host in advance and felt very safe while in the property, in town and at the beach. 10/10 would recommend and we can't wait to be back.

Cutest RI Beach Cottage

We had the absolute best time at this adorable beach cottage! Everything was super clean, decorated so cute, and had the most beautiful curb appeal with gorgeous flowers and outdoor space. It was absolutely perfect for our family of 4. Derek was a pleasure to talk to and takes excellent care of his home! Being able to do walk to one of our favorite RI restaurants (MOB) was a huge plus. A nice run or walk to the beach was a daily occurrence. We couldn’t be more pleased with our stay at this charmer and most definitely will come back again.

Clean, beautiful and well stocked cottage.

Upon check in we met Derek who showed us around the property and gave us some must do's in the area. The cottage is beautifully decorated and super clean. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking in and there were plenty of towels, linens and toiletries. The yard was private and well maintained with gorgeous flowers throughout the cottage and property. We had a wonderful stay and would rent again!

Beauty at the Beach

This was a most incredible family vacation, and having this home for the week. There are many reasons why it’s the best! The owner is extremely personable. The house is impeccable. A multitude of places on the property to perch yourself and just take in the beauty of the birds, weather, bunnies. If you like to cook, this place has everything you need to seamlessly prepare excellent meals. The beds are comfortable. The 3 season room off the outdoor patio can serve as an office, a tv room, a nature-watching space, a place to nap, or have a glass of wine and watch a storm pass through. We needed nothing while staying there. Stores, seafood markets, access to East Matunuck Beach (my favorite) and for us, family nearby, made this a great gathering place. The decor is craative, tasteful, and charming. Thank you Derek! We’ll definitely make this an annual trip, now!

Easy living...

This place in East Matunuck was the best of all world's for us - kayaking, tennis/basketball/pickle ball courts, the beach and restaurants, all within one half mile. The hosts were very attentive to our welfare and had the property in excellent condition. Although we came on the heels of hurricane Henri, with power spotty, a new generator was provided to meet our first days requirements. Would highly recommend.

Great spot for extended stay

Overall great property. We had a really enjoyable time in Rhode Island in September. The property offered great entertainment (kayaks, cornhole, outdoor gas fire pit). We rated the accuracy of the listing as a 4/5 because we were looking to enjoy the beach for a few days, however, there were no beach chairs at the house (despite this being listed in the property description). After arriving at the house we noticed there was a lot of dog hair inside that we had to clean (thankfully, we were not allergic).

Hi Alex, Thank you for your review! I'm so sorry about the beach chairs. If you had asked for them prior to the day before your departure, I would have been happy to supply them to you. I'm truly sorry for any frustration that caused. Also, we are a pet-friendly home (per the listing), so despite our best efforts, sometimes dog hair will surface. I wish you had let us know about that, as we do pride ourselves with making sure the house is as clean as possible for our guests.
