Enjoyed every minute of my stay. The rooms were comfortable the couch in the tv room was very comfy. I really enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, great stove!

This property was absolutely stunning. For once, the pictures did not do this property justice. The floor plan was perfect. Our only complaint is that the beds were HORRENDOUSLY uncomfortable. We would absolutely stay here again if the mattresses are replaced. Yes…they were that uncomfortable. Overall, the floor plan was fabulous and the location was peaceful and stunning.

We spent a weekend in Columbia doing gold country activities, and this house was the perfect spot to unwind after a long day of walking! The views are fantastic, the hot tub was relaxing, and we really enjoyed cooking together in the kitchen. We even saw turkeys and deer on the property! This was a great location, just a few minutes from lots of food, activities, and shopping!

Sweet home with great views

We were in town for two nights for a wedding and absolutely loved our stay. The home was lovely and the scenery was beautiful. Hosts were communicative. Absolutely lovely stay!

Exactly as described - great stay!

The house was exactly as described in the pictures. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and responsive in answering text messages. We loved the proximity to Dodge Ridge and Columbia State Park. We hope to visit again!

Secluded Girls Getaway

Bright spaces, nice furnishings, and plenty of space for our group of 8. Bedroom options were perfect for our group too. Cousins slept upstairs in a large room with their own bath. Setting is peaceful and views were gorgeous. Shaun and Katherine were great to work with.

Weekend Retreat

This property is a gem. A beautiful drive to Columbia followed with a beautiful home to stay at. Great recommendations in binder. Wonderful master bathroom. Highly recommend.

Perfect place for families

This home is amazing with plenty of room for my family and in-laws. The description of the home was perfect. We were visiting for a family event and my elderly mom and aunt didn’t have to worry about stairs (huge plus for me). A few of my favorite things about this place: the kitchen, the sunsets from the deck, the proximity to the events we planned, the hot tub, and the ease of contacting the owner. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Beautiful Home

We loved this home! There was plenty of room for everyone. The upstairs gets a little warm and one of the air beds had a hard time staying inflated. However, I would stay here again. The sunsets in the hot tub were epic.

The overall experience was beautiful. The listing was mostly accurate. We gave it a 4 for accuracy to listing due to their use of the words elegant, refined and remodeled. While the house was nicely decorated and the structures were as described the house had more wear and tear than these words might suggest. The appliances were quality brands, but often so well worn that they were difficult to use. It looked like it was remodeled 5- 10 years ago and is in need of some attention (paint peeling on baseboards, deck, half broken hot tub, stained outdoor chair cushions). Overall, great for a family house or summer retreat, but more worn than the elegant, refined and remodeled words convey. It is also in need of a deep clean, with the sofa in need of a vacuuming and the fans showing thick layers of dust. Beautiful view, windows and open spaces. Very close to the historic town of Columbia, we had a great time overall.

Annual Friends' Getaway

Wonderful, peaceful location with amazing hot tub to watch sunset at end of day. Loved seeing all the deer walking the property throughout our time at the house. Clean and spacious for our group. Fun location to small town fun (note: Uber was not available and taxis were expensive). Found a great hike, winery that also had beer tasting for those non-wine types in our group, live music with fire pits to relax and enjoy, and lunch in downtown Sonora. Definitely recommend for weekend getaway!
