Tranquility in Tom Nevers! 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath, heated pool, spa, ocean views

Located on 1.6 acres only a half mile from the beach, The shACK has been newly renovated to create a beautiful update of a classic Tom Nevers home. This upside down home design provides wonderful outdoor space, privacy, and breathtaking views of Sankaty Light and the Atlantic.

Renovations include a newly finished lower level, three and one half new bathrooms, a new kitchen with classic marble counters, and a new pool with bluestone terrace, heated June through mid-October, and cabana. Tennis courts are just down the road.

Entry Level

The entry level includes three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The entry Master King Bedroom has a spacious ensuite bathroom with a tiled, glass enclosed shower and a door to the outdoor shower and side yard. There are two additional guest bedrooms, the first has twin beds and the second a king bed. These rooms each have doors out to the side porch and share a hall bathroom with a double vanity and a tiled glass-enclosed shower. The laundry room is also on the entry level.

Upper Level

The upper level offers an open living, dining and kitchen area with cathedral ceilings and sliding doors to two decks, and a propane grill. A powder room is just off the kitchen. The master bedroom has a king bed and an ensuite bathroom with a glass-enclosed tiled shower.

Lower Level

The finished lower level is ideal for raining day activities and an ideal setting for ping pong, foosball or watching a movie. There are built in Sonos speakers and access to the back yard.

Cabana

The cabana provides a relaxing outdoor escape equipped with refrigerated drawers, ice machine, flat screen television, and outdoor sonos speakers. You’ll find everything you need for the beach and pool in the outdoor storages, including pool toys, coolers, corn toss boards and more!

We're bACK!

The shACK is one of our favorite places to visit every summer! Our kids absolutely love the quiet, peaceful Tom Nevers community that the house is located in while love going traveling all around the island to explore. Sara and Charles are always FANTASTIC hosts and are always an absolute pleasure to work with. They always go above and beyond for our family and we're always forever grateful that they welcome us back to their home every summer!

We returned to this home for the second year and it was even better than the first. A great location for our family, tons of fun stuff, games, books and kid friendly basement. Beautiful views and we all enjoyed the pool!

Fabulous open views, gorgeous home and setting. Enjoyed the pool, hot tub, huge lawn and wraparound porch. Plenty of space for our three generations to be comfortable. Sara is so helpful!!! Can’t wait to return.

From it's layout, to spacious backyard and beautiful pool, to everything you need being readily available in the house for you to use during your stay. bACK to Nantucket!

Everything about this property is perfect for our family. The heated pool and cabana are fantastic, the basement is the perfect venue for the family to hangout and relax, the decks are absolutely perfect for each night's sunset... I could honestly go on and on about this property. Sara is awesome to work with and we absolutely love staying at the shACK while visiting ACK.

This property was the perfect getaway for our family. The yard and heated pool held endless opportunities to entertain our children all week. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Beautiful home, great communication with owner, best stocked rental from high quality bed sheets to pool toys. They thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. Also, you can rent their brand new Jeep on Turo. This is a hassle free way to rent a vehicle. You won’t be disappointed if you rent this house.

We had a wonderful week at the Shack. Our familes rented 2 beautiful houses at Tom Nevers. We hosted two parties at the Shack. All went well. Sara was always available to help. Hope we can return in the future.

Beautiful stay at The ShACK

Beautiful property. House was immaculate and we loved the design. Loved the cabana at the pool ( was the perfect office for my husband) Location just close enough to the beach to walk or ride a bike. Did not mind being a bit further from town as it was so peaceful and relaxing. Everyone had there own space . We would love to rent again. Sara was delightful to work with - very responsive.

We love the shACK!

We enjoyed another wonderful summer week at the shACK! Our kids absolutely love the house, as do we! The house is amazing from its layout, to its cleanliness, to everything it has to offer. We absolutely love spending time at the shACK using the pool, jacuzzi, and cabana to playing ping-pong, foosball, or reading one of the books on the bookshelves or doing one of the kids puzzles in the basement. The property managers are awesome to work with and we always have an amazing experience at the shACK! We also rented the house's jeep wrangler and we're so happy that we did! We highly recommend booking the jeep too when you stay at shACK!

We had a perfect stay. The house is gorgeous and well appointed with beautiful fixtures, furniture and appliances. The house very well stocked and immaculate. The bedding was wonderful, and there was plenty of space for our young children. The pool and backyard are spacious, and well maintained. We loved the heated pool and hot tub. This is the perfect place to stay in Nantucket! The perfect location and 10 minutes are less form everywhere we wanted to go! We also highly recommend renting the jeep with the home. We will be back! ACK for the win!

We absolutely LOVED the property. Everything was in immaculate condition and incredibly clean. So many different features to the house were amazing for our family. The backyard is absolutely fantastic for a family of four to use for fun and relaxation, and we can't wait to use the pool when we go back in June! If we were going to purchase a property on the island, 3 Parson Lane would be the blueprint for what we'd want! Sara was absolutely phenomenal to work with and the gift bag she sent us added such a nice touch to our stay. We baked the cookies as a family and had a wonderful night staying enjoying the other goodies she sent us. Overall, we absolutely loved the property and working with Sara! Can't wait to go back in June!

Fantastic Nantucket Vacation Home

What an absolute wonderful vacation home. We were so delighted with this home and our vacation for the week. Situated in Tom Nevers we were so close to the beach and a 15 minute drive to town. We also rented a new Jeep Wrangler through the house which was great and so easy. We enjoy the waves at Surfside beach which was only 10 minutes away. Our family of 5 plus my 2 parents rented this great house for a week in August and had a lovely time. The house is wonderfully stocked with everything you would need in the kitchen. Also a great gas bbq outside on the deck. The top floor living is fabulous to watch the gorgeous sunsets Nantucket has to offer. We all enjoyed swimming in the large heated pool. The house had everything you needed to take to the beach as well - umbrella, chairs, toys, etc. Also a games room downstairs which the kids enjoyed playing games and relaxing after the pool or the beach. We also enjoyed watching movies together in the cozy sofa at the end of the day. We would definitely return here for our next Nantucket vacation. We were also pleased with comfy beds and clean white linen. Sara the host was amazing too - and inquires we had she got back to us in seconds. She was very helpful and informative on anything we had to ask. Fabulous host and amazing home! Wish we didn’t have to leave.

Heaven in Nantucket!

The ShACK is an absolute gem! A truly stunning property - the pictures really do not do it justice. I booked a stay for one week and ended up staying for two! The home is spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated! We felt so at home here, and Sara thought of absolutely everything to make the stay comfortable! The house is well stocked with everything you need, including a variety of cooking and cleaning supplies, games, books, and entertainment. The pool is absolutely amazing and well cared for! We enjoyed swimming nearly every day even in the cooler New England fall temps. The home is a short walk to the beach in a quiet, peaceful location. Great area for daily runs or bike rides as well. Perfect for these times of “social distancing”! But, it is also just a 15m drive to Sconset or to town. Beautiful sunset views from the porch! You truly could not ask for a better host than Sara. I was blown away by her thoughtful touches that made the stay extra special. She was very quick to respond to messages as well. We had one small issue with the key sticking when we checked in and someone was there to help within 15 minutes! We loved absolutely everything about our stay at this property. I could not recommend it more highly! Thank you, Sara and Charles!

Perfect Family Vacation Home
