Casa histórica renovada y cabaña independiente

Casa histórica recientemente renovada en el corazón del pueblo de Sconset. La casa principal tiene 3 dormitorios, 2 baños completos y 1 medio baño. El diseño presenta un plano de planta abierto que está lleno de luz y fresco con paredes paneladas. El primer piso tiene la sala de estar, cocina / comedor, sala de barro / despensa / oficina, lavandería y tocador, dormitorio principal (con cama queen) y baño principal adjunto. El segundo piso tiene 2 dormitorios: el dormitorio delantero tiene una cama de tamaño completo y una cama nido, el dormitorio trasero tiene camas gemelas y nidos incorporados. El nivel superior también tiene un baño completo con ducha a ras de suelo.
Hay una cabaña separada que se construyó recientemente en 2015. La cabaña ofrece una cama queen size, un baño completo con bañera / ducha, cocina y sala de estar.
Tanto la casa principal como la cabaña tienen terrazas soleadas para descansar y hay un amplio patio de piedra que conecta los dos edificios. El patio es soleado y tiene capacidad para 12.
También hay una ducha al aire libre, barbacoa, hamaca y cobertizo de almacenamiento al aire libre para cañas de pescar, tablas de surf, etc.
Hay mucho estacionamiento en las calles delantera y trasera y la casa también cuenta con bicicletas para su uso.
Está muy cerca de la playa, del mercado de Sconset, de los restaurantes y de la parada de transporte.
La propiedad es maravillosa para las personas que desean estar en el corazón del pueblo pero quieren tener algo de privacidad y espacio para los codos.

The location could not be better! Whitney, the host, was very easy to reach when needed. There was some confusion upon check in as the listing info was not fully updated, but ultimately the rest of the stay was very easy.

Beautiful house tastefully done

We loved our vacation in Sconset. Whitney has renovated this house to perfection. Everything is first class and the kitchen has everything you could need. There is a lot of room between the two houses and plenty of patio to enjoy. The town of Sconset is cute as can be and the beach is wonderful too. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect home in Sconset

The property was lovely. It was clean and well designed and had the space to fit 5 adults and 3 kids with room leftover. The cottage has a little loft which was a perfect spot for our 10 year old daughter to host a sleepover with friend. The location could not be much better. We hope to return next summer.

A place to create memories

This is a spot we love coming back to every year! Away from the hustle and bustle of downtown, but still everything you need at the local market, liquor store and restaurant. We always have an an incredible time at Whitney’s beautiful home. The cottage is a great place to have friends come stay for a night or two in their own private space. Another magical trip made possible by a wonderful owner who communicates in a timely manner. Wonderful.

Great stay!!

We had a great stay at Whitney’s house! She was very quick to respond and we had everything we needed for our stay. The house was perfectly located for us as it was a close walk to playground and beach but if you don’t have kids and want to walk around town it is about a 15 min drive so you will need a car. The house is so cute and the beds are comfy and linens are great ( yes I’m a linen snob!) :) we brought our nanny with us and having a cottage was a huge plus! It gave her the opportunity to have some time to herself and us some space as a family! I would highly recommend this rental. Whitney call me any time if you want to discuss your new biz plan :) thanks again for a great stay!

Got off to a rough start. Property wasn’t ready when we checked in. After a brief freak out we were able to get everything squared away. Stuff happens and not everything is as perfect as you want it. However, it’s more important to me how things get rectified. In this case the house was turned quickly and we were able to get into a sconset state of mind. This place is great..

Beautiful Home!

What a beautiful home! My girlfriends and I loved our stay here. The house sleeps 10 comfortably, the patio is amazing, and just a short walk to the beach. We couldn't say enough nice things about our stay :) Highly recommend this property to all.

Amazing Accommodation for a larger group

I can't rave about this house enough. The pictures are amazing but they don't do this place justice! Every room is immaculate and perfectly decorated. The check-in and check-out was simple and easy. They even have printed papers inside on the kitchen table that have additional details about the house. We had a group of about 10 and there was plenty of room plus much more for an additional 2-4. There was more than enough bathroom space and the perfect patio out back to sit in the sun. They have Sonos speakers throughout the house and on the back patio. Everything you need is there! All we did was bring food and drink and we felt so at home. It's a super short walk to the beach and the local neighborhood market. It's on the other side of the island so if you do decide to stay over this way I would just suggest renting a car. However, you can easily get an Uber or a cab! So happy with your stay. Thank you, Whitney!

Great Long Weekend on Nantucket

Perfection!

My sisters and I treated our parents to a week on Nantucket to celebrate their 50th Anniversary and this house did not disappoint! There was the perfect amount of space for all of us and every inch of it has been updated to make it feel like a luxurious vacation. We’ve rented many other homes in Sconset and this was far and away the best. It’s still so close to the heart of the village with ample elbow room for parking and outdoor play. Thank you Whitney for sharing your beautiful home with our family, we had an amazing time!

Lovely vacation destination

This lovely residence is exactly as described and offers every imaginable convenience. The home looks as bright and fresh as if it were brand new, but still has the wonderful historic ambiance. The grandchildren loved the upstairs bedroom with the built in beds and trundles, and appreciated the selection of board games. The generous sized dining table accomodated our entire family with ease. Easily walkable to local market, cafe, beach and bus stop. The Wave buses are super convenient and a great way to travel into the town of Nantucket. You will not be disappointed if you choose this property as your travel destination.

Sconset escape

We had a three night stay at this adorable, well furnished and well equipped Sconset cottage. The outside space is great and the detached cottage is charming! My husband and I stayed in the cottage and our three kids stayed in the main house (adult kids and spouses) there was room for everyone! The location is fabulous! If you stay here make sure you do the foot path walk every morning then come home and have your breakfast on the patio....such a treat! The owners always answered my calls and email efficiently. We would definitely stay here again!!!

This property is wonderful for providing the best of many worlds- on the edge of the village and walking distance to everything but just far enough out of the heart that you have some quiet and privacy. It is also great because it is an 100+ year home that retains historic charm while having all the modern amenities one could desire.
The home is compact but eminently usable and comfortable.
