Awful neighbors that harassed us about everything

Good house great view - neighbors across street named Deborah absolutely stained the trip - won’t come back due to her made sure to get onto us about parking even though we were clearly in the marked property lines.

Excellent ridge retreat!

Jade was a fantastic host. Super helpful, warm and responsive. The house had everything we needed for a family of 6 staying over the holidays. The views are gorgeous and the hot tub is an amazing perk. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would go back next time we’re in town.

Thanksgiving

Pro: This property has a beautiful view. Pro: Pictures matched the property Con: There was not any storage space for personal items-no dressers, hangers or nightstands. Con: There was not a 3rd bedroom on top floor. There is a studio downstairs that has 2 sets of bunk beds and a queen size bed. And 2 bedrooms upstairs. All-in-all, it’s a nice quiet spot to get away and relax and enjoy family without any touristy attractions to distract you.

Amazing view and quiet atmosphere!!!

The view was one of the best you’ll get at a rental property on Center Hill Lake. Jade was great to deal with and the lines of communication were always open with expedient replies. If you are bringing a big boat like ours (wake boat) parking for it was a slight issue, however, a friendly neighbor allowed us to park my truck and trailer at his house. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a quiet getaway.

Family vacation celebration!

Jade was the perfect Host! We arrived and were greeted with breathtaking views, snacks and drinks, and jazz playing! The house was perfect for our extended family! There is a well equipped kitchen, plenty of towels and lots of room for everyone.Every need was anticipated . We enjoyed boating, swimming and kayaking! Lots of memories were made! Thanks we’ll be back!

beautiful views

Jade was super easy to work with and even provided some food and supplies for our arrival. The property was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There was a beautiful view of the lake from the comfortable porch and yard. I was a little confused about the downstairs bunk room from the listing, but it was fine for our group.

Little house with a big view

Things we loved: of course the lake view!! The home was super stocked with everything from trash bags and aluminum foil to charcoal and water. It was very refreshing not to have to buy that stuff. The neighbors were so kind and helpful. The boat launch was extremely convenient! Things we didn’t like: the kitchen needs a good cleaning, we had to wash everything before it could be used. They only a have a porch light which makes it difficult to do anything after dark including using the grill. If you are looking for privacy this is not the place for you, there are neighbors all around you. Felt it was a little overpriced, especially with the fees.

Beautiful view of the Lake!

Our family loved getting away here for a few days. The view is beautiful and it's an easy walk to the lake. We also e joked the state parks in the area.

Priceless View, Great Area, Beautiful Home

This gorgeous home, that sits on top of a hill with a view that must be seen to appreciate, is a place you MUST put on your bucket list. It is a little way out of town, which is perfect, but close enough to get dinner or groceries easily. Very close to marinas that have boats for rent, stores for shopping or smaller metro areas like Sparta, it is the place to be for peace and quiet. The home is tastefully appointed, lots of room (up and downstairs) and has a wrap around deck affording spectacular views all day and night. Very little light pollution so you can see starts and planets horizon to horizon. The house if on the side of a hill, so bring walking shoes if you want to explore, well worth it There are a handful of other houses, some of which have year-round residents that are all delightful and fun to meet and get to know. Great place for dogs as there is almost no traffic and the other neighborhood dogs all welcome visitors. The owner is very responsive and is thoughtful in the way she has set things up. When you check in there will be breakfast and other foodstuffs left just for you. Reserve it, you will not regret it.

Ultra relaxing

Stayed here with Husband, son and daughter in law for a few nights. It’s not called songbird city for nothing. The birdhouses attracted gorgeous little bluebirds, a pleasure to see while having morning coffee on the deck. So peaceful. Short walk to lake to refresh yourself and play in the water. Plus a boat ramp if needed. Well appointed rooms and kitchen. Just a perfect spot. We will be back!

Gorgeous view!

Spent a nice weekend here with a few friends. The host left us breakfast and tons of snacks and drinks in the fridge and even ran down a lighter so we could use the grill. The house is cute and the beds were more comfortable than most homes you stay at from these sites. The true star of the trip though was the view of the lake! We really spent most of our time just sitting on the porch staring at the water and relaxing. Also great that the property is dog friendly as I traveled with pooch!
