Summer weekend in Crested Butte

Crested Butte did not disappoint!! My husband two kids and two dogs enjoyed the town and the condo thoroughly.

Even better than expected

Nice to have a pet friendly place in a ski in/out resort. Facilities were great. As well as skiing, loved the hot tub, pool, pool table & weight room.

Minutes Walk to Lifts, Nice Amenities

Our group of 4 had an amazing ski weekend trip at this place! The condo/hotel's amenities were so convenient - smooth check-in at the front desk, bell luggage carts, cafe/breakfast restaurant downstairs, and small market/liquor store right across the street. It's nestled inside the ski village so it's just a couple minutes walk to the lifts, free ski valet, coffee shop and restaurants, rental shops, gift shops, etc. at the bottom of the slopes. Owner has their own property manager which we didn't need to contact during our time there. Will definitely stay here again when we are back.

Great Location

The location was fantastic. 100 yards from the lifts was probably an over estimate. Property was nice, not over the top. It was also pretty quiet, people walking around in ski boots can be very loud, but we didn’t really hear any of that. The micro kitchen is a bit difficult. Don’t plan on actually cooking anything. I prepped meals at home, so all I had to do was warm stuff up. I don’t think I could really cook a meal using what’s there.

Great Stay

I had a great stay at Don's place. It's located right at the base of the mountain and I took the free shuttle into the town of CB. The condo was clean and just as advertised. Don and his property manager were great to work with. I'll be back for sure!

Nice close condo

The condo is about as close as can get without being ski in/ski out. Beds are the comfiest I have slept on in a Vrbo. The room is a little tight for a family of 4 with an 11 and 14 year olds but we knew this going in. We were able to cook a good portion of our meals with the little kitchen which is always a plus. There were a few things maintenance wise that needs some attention and I am sure Robin will get addressed. Overall satisfied with the stay and would again.

Anniversary Trip

The room was just as it was listed. I appreciated having a ceiling fan and floor fans in the room. The location was great and it was very nice having the shuttle to town every twenty minutes. We were pleased with the size of the kitchenette.

Spring Break

The condo was as advertised and a great value. Plenty of space for the 3 of us. Four adults would have been fine. The Grand Lodge has everything you need for a comfortable stay. And the location is about as close to ski in/ski out you can get. Will definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Great Home Base for our CB adventures

The room was perfectly fine and it was great having a mini kitchen. Central to everywhere we wanted to be whether downtown CB for dinner or ambling out Slate River Rd, Wash Gulch or Gothic. Comfy bed and nice and sunny in the morning. Only complaint is the ice machine is right outside the door so if you are a light sleeper, be aware. However, if you’re doing CB right, your eyes will close when they hit the pillow and you’ll hopefully never hear it! 😊 Thank you!!

Great location!!!

This was the perfect location for our ski weekend. It was an easy walk to the lifts and had very convenient parking. The room itself was very nice. It had everything that we needed - comfy king bed, sitting area, breakfast nook, one-burner to make coffee & eggs, dishwasher, mini-fridge, and a nice bathroom! I strongly recommend this studio to anyone coming to Crested Butte.

The studio was perfect for our family of 4. Clean and right at the slopes. Loved the hot tub and heated pool for the kids. The snowboard instructors were super. Will recommend and come back!

Decent place at a decent rate but a bit worn. NO AIR CONDITIONING!

The lack of AC might be normal for the area but visitors don't come from that area. It should have been very clearly stated. I would not have rented it if I knew. The first part of the week was hot and humid making our visit uncomfortable. A.C. is the norm in the US and any place without it is effectively deceiving people. Additionally, the toaster only works on one side and you have to unplug it for each slice or it will burn. Buy a new toaster, they are cheap.
