This unit is perfect for 4 . Everything was great about our stay. Amazing breathtaking view of the beach . Owner was quick to respond with anh questions . Check in process was quick. Mini store at lobby level has everything you need . Had a great time. Will definitely be back again.

Better than I thought

For the price, this is the best place I’ve ever stayed. Views are incredible. Private. High enough the bugs don’t bother you so you can leave the balcony door open all day.

Okay

I've owned 6 vrbo properties and while my quest was to find the best price it came with some issues. The view and location was over the top, the owner has just about everything you would need. But the layout, furniture, towels, closits and drawers we're not up to par. In fact my wife was not comfortable with the dresser or closit which shared a mop, buckets, and cleaning products. The towels were way below average in size and age. But for a young couple in their 20's looking for the cheapest and best price it was perfect.

Our stay at the Girasol Sur condos

Overall, we had a really good time! All the rooms in this place have an amazing ocean front view, and the sound of the ocean is constant and magical. The room was not quite as described with only one twin bed and a trundle bed. It appeared that no one had stayed there for a while because the place needed some maintenance. Only 4 out of the 10 lights worked. The TV was unwatchable because the screen was majorly discolored. The bathroom door would not shut, there was no soap or shampoo, and only one roll of toilet paper. There were a few mismatched dishes and a really old microwave oven. The bed was super firm and the pillows were only about 2” thick. We found sleeping on the floor with the mattresses from the trundle bed was more comfortable than trying to sleep on the bed. The check in process was a nightmare! It took us two hours to check in because the owner did not follow the association’s check in procedure. We were unable to call the owner because the phone number he provided did not work, and for a while we believed we were being scammed. After communicating through VRBO, the owner eventually called the place, and they finally gave us a key, but it wasn’t the same room number as on the VRBO confirmation. The building itself was older, but well maintained. The pool, restaurant, and beach were amazing! Overall, a good experience, but I’m giving it a low rating because of all the check in hassles and overall condition of the room.

Great location

On the beach. Apartment is good for two people. Bed is ok, linen - very basic. Nothing in the cupboards upon arrival except salt. Probably more feasible for a short stay.

Girasol Sur

The location of this property for the price is unbeatable. You can see and hear the ocean from the patio, living area and from bed! The beach to the south is nice and not too crowded. Fun for swimming, though some days the surf was very high! We ate the restaurant each night - can’t beat the location right on the ocean. Food was very good. We took the bus -10 pesos each- into town and to the south everyday. Early morning walk or run on the Malecón downtown is recommend as the highway by the condo is busy and has no shoulder. We had a great week long stay.

Property apartment is very nice and clean with spectacular views of los Arcos and in my opinion the best and cleanest beach in Puerto Vallarta! Restaurant , good, but not a lotta options and cash only, so bring those greens with you! Overall a great place to relax and enjoy the views !

Girasol Sur is located between two nice, clean beaches. Just minutes away on the bus from Puerto Vallarta downtown. The complex itself has great little restaurant located just by the ocean! The sunset views from there are amazing !!! The only complaint would be, that unit where we stayed needs a little TLC.

Clean studio with balcony overlooking the sea. Nice pool and good restaurant on property. Just make sure you get cash before getting here as restaurant and store are cash only. Good snorkeling right off the beach! Bring your snorkel mask.
