Seaside Cottage is a cozy North Myrtle Beach duplex located one block from the stunning Atlantic Ocean. With beautiful oak trees and breathtaking views from the sun deck, you will be able to truly soak in all that the Grand Strand is famous for. Seaside Cottage #1 is the lower unit, and has recently remodeled kitchen, hardwood floors, and comfortable furnishings. With four bedrooms and two bathrooms, this home comfortably sleeps up to 12 people. You can spend the day on the beach playing in the sand, watching the seagulls, and listening to the waves, and then come home to your fenced backyard with a pool, picnic tables, hammocks and a grill. Come to North Myrtle Beach and let Seaside Cottage be your home away from home. POOL AT THIS HOME IS OPEN FROM MID-MAY--SEPT. This rental unit has Roku/Internet TV -- bring your passwords. There are five televisions.

Reviewer Comments: We love this unit clean nice fenced backyard so we can let the dogs out some love the location close to Beach Access that has bathrooms water to clean off feet and easy to get on the beach. One of my Favs to go to no matter the time of year.

Overall this was an excellent value and location. The home is comfortable with plenty of room for a large or extended family. Great pool area and backyard for relaxing after a day at the beach. Latches to secure the exterior doors would have been nice to have with toddlers in the group.

The perfect stay

What an amazing place! The cutest beach house, literally a 3 minute walk from the beach. You can see the ocean from the front patio. Just enough space. Property manager was always available for questions, as we traveled 10 hours and ended up going through a tropical storm. We felt comfortable, and well informed. During our stay, the AC stopped working for some odd reason. The appropriate people were contacted right away, we spent some hours on the beach, and the issue was resolved before we even returned. They sent a text notifying us. Everyone was extremely pleasant. We are so sad our vacation ended so fast, and we can’t wait to return! Will 10000000% rent this home again. I recommend anyone looking! Thank you tons. Ours kiddos don’t want to leave.

Prefect family bungalow

We loved our stay and the location was amazing!! You could see a little of the ocean from the front porch. Please consider updating the photo in the listing with the twin beds to the queen as we were a little confused. The beds were super comfy and the pool was a big hit. Perfect for our kids one under 2 and the other 8. The dogs also enjoyed their stay and the fenced in yard. Thank you!

Great stay!

Over the course of the week, everyone told me how happy they were with the house. Though there were a couple of items that needed slight repair, they did not take away from the house or our stay. Great location near the beach, the walk to the beach was quick and easy as well as our walk to the market and ice cream spot (Mr. G's, the owner is fantastic by the way!). Neighborhood was quiet overall and the pool, yard and outdoor areas were well maintained. It also was beneficial that no one stayed in the unit upstairs as there was no noice from above. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice rental with close proximity to the beach.

My stay at Seaside Cottage 1

Won’t rent from this agent again. Worst stay wver

The rental I purchased ended up being off wrong images. The images were for the upstairs apartment. The upstairs renters had 5 dogs they did not bring down to the grass very often, and 5 members of my family got urinated on while setting on the porch from the porch above. I called property manager no response. The renters up stairs also got into two fist fights which I called property manager no response. We confronted the renters about the dogs peeing through the porch We left a day early. The renters upstairs did apologize when we were leaving but altogether a terrible trip. I also chose a place with a pool! Said open in April we get there the pool isn’t open the whole time. I also called about the pool. All together it was a nightmare other then the location. My daughter also ended up bringing her 4 lb yorkie which the property manager called and asked if there was a dog there, so I then paid the deposit even though she was staying in a motel and just visiting us all the time.

Good for the price

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay at this rental. It was very clean, they allowed dogs (with a fee), and the Wi-Fi/TV’s worked well. Don’t forget to bring your trash bags, extra toilet paper, and any type of soap or paper towels (on top of your towels and linens). Just a few things I we noticed were in disrepair that were somewhat disappointing. First, one of the sinks was broken and we thought it was clogged until we pulled the plug out of the middle and realized it was just broken. Second, the front door drags, so if there is any rain or moisture it seems to pull it into the house which is making the flooring curl (and the seal on the door is not tight). And then when we used the washer and dryer we couldn’t get the dryer to dry anything for more than 10-20 minutes at a time (not to mention how loud). If you have rude upstairs neighbors like we did, you won’t be getting any sleep because the floors are quite thin and everything sounds like stomping. But it’s a great deal because you do get a great spot with a pool (although it was closed for the season) right across from the beach and hidden from the hustle and bustle.

refrigerator/freezer missing shelves

Missing many shelves in a refrig/freezer is a deal breaker for me at this property. hopefully, they will get a whole new one. also, if you plan to watch movies at night time as a family, not a good experience concerning that, had to set up beach chairs for this.

Nice place with a lovely pool

Overall, The property is located within a very short walking distance to the beach and has a lovely pool that is often shaded by the live oak trees. We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and the maintenance guy was top-notch. The check in process and overall communication with the rental company was different then any other rental company we’ve used but overall, we enjoyed our stay.

The house was very clean and close to everything. The pool was great!! And Jeanne from the rental office was wonderful to work with. Would definitely rent again if we visit the area again.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was in nice condition when we showed up initially. However, the people paid to clean the pool/house do not clean, but instead force you to clean and bribe them not to fine you for the mess. We had a pool man show up numerous time and threaten to evict us if we did not give him alcohol. Other than the poor maintenance, the house is nice.
