Great Views!! We watched the sunrise every morning from the deck! Perfect location! We were excited to witness a few bear visits. Hosts were excellent with communication! Check in and Check out were an easy process! Would definitely stay here again. Being pet friendly is a bonus!!

It was everything we wanted. Roomy, clean, all essentials, absolutely beautiful view. The hosts were in contact without being intrusive. We definitely want to go back to this cabin. Oh, and the bear interaction is plentiful. Saw bears traipsing through the property almost every day. Very cool….from a safe distance. Thank you Chris and Morgan for a wonderful vacation experience.

Amazing views! Right in the mountains, so close to the national park, couldn’t have been better. We had a great time! The hut tub was perfect after long hikes in the mountains :)

Spring break family getaway

Great place for families. Enjoyed our stay. Even was awakened by outdoor sensor light at 3am to see a big bear attempting to get into our vehicle . Made my trip complete

Nestled in the woods

You definitely feel like you’re part of the Smoky Mountains staying here. Phenomenal view and our kids were entertained with all the games.

Host was very responsive. The living room area rug was very dirty and full of pet hair. The driveway is extremely steep. Need to advertise will accommodate up to 4 cars (not SUVs or trucks). There definitely needs to be a guardrail installed across the road as a car could slide right down into an extremely deep gorge. The pools are nice but each takes about a 15 minute drive from cabin to reach.Bookshelves (3 separate ones) have a good variety of adult books but could use some children’s books. We saw 30 bears plus many bear cubs around our cabin during our 5 day stay. Had family members on lookout every time anyone needed to go outside.These are important points for guests to be aware.

Great stay!

Overall a great experience! Beds were comfortable, view was amazing! Lots of entertainment for the kids, short ride to town. Hot tub chemicals were very potent, the adults didn't enjoy it but the kids did! Would stay again for sure!

Sorry the hot tub chemicals were potent, between each of the guests, we fully drain & sanitize the hot tub then refill with fresh water and new chemicals so that could have been the cause. Last minute Getaway

I’ve been to Gatlinburg many times... never stayed in a Chalet if you are looking for a nice cozy place this is where to book! Everything was clean upon arrival and the owner was very accommodating and attentive.

Views were spectacular --very convenient to National Park and to Gatlinburg Bears were around every day --mountain road driving requires some added caution but very doable

Great cabin for a group of adults and kids!

The layout of the cabin was perfect for our family vacation. All the kids were excited they could all sleep in the same room with the bunk beds. The table was perfect for all 11 of us to sit down and have dinner together as well as to play phase 10. We all highly recommend this cabin for families with kids.

My group had a great time considering the weather was not in our favor. I would highly recommend this cabin in the sky. The morning views were great. I would stay again and you should to.

Family vacation in Big Bear Cabin (appropriately named :-)

There were 13 of us and this accommodates a large group very well. We experienced several bear sightings in the yard and driveway. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds were comfortable. The roads to get to the cabin are narrow and winding but we were prepared for that and the view when you reach the cabin was beautiful. I would definitely recommend this property and we will be back for sure. We created so many beautiful memories.

Family Fall Break

Big Bear Cabin is the perfect place to make great family memories! Booking was super easy and Chris was quick to respond to every question/issue. We loved the fire pit area for making s'mores and keeping warm in the crisp autumn air. The hot tub was also a favorite spot! Big Bear Cabin has it all! Thanks for sharing it with our family!

Beautiful cabin and view in a great location

This cabin was just what we were looking for out of a Gatlinburg getaway. The cabin was very clean, nicely set up, and in a great location. It had access to several pools with a short drive to help entertain the kids in our group, and was close enough to Gatlinburg for an easy drive into town for food and entertainment. The property management was very responsive and great to work with. Lastly as a very unexpected bonus, we had TONS of bear sightings right from the cabin. Highly recommend this cabin!

Family Getaway

Our family of 11 had a great stay! We loved being in the mountains with the gorgeous view, yet we were close to Gatlinburg. Great proximity to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge yet secluded in the mountains to rest and relax. The cabin was furnished well with all the supplies we needed for the week. We enjoyed playing corn hole while grilling one night. We appreciated having the second refrigerator in the laundry room!
