Near beach... Wade On In (Previously On the Wiles Side) Captiva Island Pool Home

Welcome to Wade On In Previously named On the Wiles Side! We are so glad you have found us. This Captiva, Florida Island home was recently completely remodeled. The landscaping has been expertly redone providing a natural, tropical feel. There is a beautiful pool area with lounge chairs, a dining area, grill, and plenty of space for your family or friends to enjoy. Downstairs you can also enjoy a competitive game of corn hole. There are plenty of pool floats where you can leisurely enjoy the perfectly heated water of the pool. 
 

The sands of Captiva Beach are a 2-minute walk down Wiles Drive where you will find the quiet neighborhood beach path just before the library. We include everything you will need to make your beach day enjoyable; beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels, coolers, and beach bags. We even have a beach wagon and beach toys for the kids.
 

The home offers vaulted ceilings and an open floor plan. You will love the open kitchen design and all your family will need to prepare meals. The spacious master bedroom is on the west side of the home with a comfortable king-sized bed and ensuite bathroom. The two additional guest rooms are on the east side of the home with a bathroom in between. The living area offers comfortable seating and a dining table for 6. There is a washer/dryer as well as a nook area that holds books and games for the entire family to enjoy. Enjoy the evenings on the screened in front porch with a nice cool drink. If you love to go shelling, Captiva beach will excite you with its array of shells. Come back to the house and rinse them in our shell washing station!
 

Shops and restaurants are within a short walking distance or golf cart ride (may be rented separately from a local vendor).

The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The location is great, close to everything. The screened in porch was nice and inviting. The pool and outdoor space was also very nice.

House was perfect for a relaxing, family Christmas getaway to the beach! The location couldn’t be any better. So close to, what feels like a private beach and easy access to Captiva. We loved it. Hot tub would have been great in December, and don’t forget to grab trash bags and toilet paper if you’re staying more than three days. But otherwise, exactly what we were looking for and so glad we stated at Wade On In!!

Great house and as advertised!

We enjoyed staying at this well-appointed house. The house and pool were excellent and had everything we needed while being away from house. The beautiful beach is just steps away and a very easy walk.

Perfect Location!

We loved the location - it could not have been more perfect! The home was comfortable and we had plenty of space for everyone in our group. The pool got a little hot mid day, but that didn’t deter the kids from swimming! We also really appreciated the beach cart and umbrellas!

Beautiful home

Great Family Trip to Captiva

Our family really enjoyed our stay at this property in Captiva! The house is very clean and had everything needed. We really enjoyed the pool and was good relief from the heat. Captiva is still recovering from the hurricane but still worth the visit. Thank you!

Great Quiet Getaway!

The house was adorable! perfect for us, very clean, the pool was a plus and it was heated! the location was perfect away from all of the crowds. 3 minute walk to the beach! Would definitely rent it again! it was just what we needed!

We took our granddaughters on vacation and had the best time!! The location was great, close to everything. The weather was hot but with the pool we didn't care! The house was beautiful and everyone had their own space. I would go back in a heart beat and lots of memories were made. Thank you!!

Perfect location, cool house

The house had just been completely remodeled and it was very well done. The heated pool was private and perfect for our family. The beach was about a two minute walk from the house. Shops and restaurants were just blocks away, an easy walk or golf cart ride. We spent a lot of time enjoying the screened porch. Everyone loved our trip to Captiva!

Our stay

We had an amazing stay here! It was a beautiful and well kept up house that was well stocked from the kitchen to beach towels and many extras. Very close to the beach and we appreciated all of the beach accessories the were provided. We really enjoyed reading on the screened in porch. The pool was wonderful. However, as one reviewer mentioned above, you could hear the neighbors next door all hours of the day. Very highly recommended!

Grandparents Annual Summer Vacation

This was a great family vacation. The entire property was exactly as described on the website and we could not have been more pleased. Great access to the beach which was less than a 5 minute walk. The home was large enough for our family to spread out if needed but would definitely be great for a couple looking for a getaway as well. Would definitely return. We had one small request for service that was handled by a gentleman that lives on the island within the hour. He knew the property and was in and out promptly. I was impressed!

Unfortunately due to the hurricane we were unable to get onto the island and enjoy our stay like previous year. Hopefully next year we will be back!

We absolutely loved this property.

We absolutely loved this property. It was in a perfect location: an easy walk to the beach, close to all of the great restaurants and stores, and close to the marina. The house has a great layout and was beautifully renovated. The landscaping is gorgeous along with the pool and outdoor area. We appreciated the beach chairs, bags, coolers, tent, and cart that were also provided.

Awesome vacation with the kids.

Beautiful location, love the neighborhood vibe. Very private and close to beach and library (for the kids to get school work done). Lush vegetation, lots of birds and iguanas to watch. This home makes you really feel at peace and relaxed. The only bummer is the dishwasher broke on the 2nd day and we were told it would be fixed. After several attempts of asking when it would happen, alas our vacation ended. We didn’t have any paper products so we ended up washing a lot of dishes during our stay. We highly recommend the location and the well done renovation of this property!

Christmas week

We stayed for a week between Christmas and New year. It was fabulous! The house is updated inside. Beach chairs and pool floats were provided which is great. The location is perfect, close to the beach but also close to town. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect vacation in Captiva on the wiles side

We had a fantastic time at this beach home. The house had all the amenities and was extremely clean. Couldn’t ask for better location to beach and restaurants all within walking distance. House like 3 min walk to beach. Pool was perfect. Can’t say enough just perfect time.

It was absolutely a wonderful time at this beach home. The house was wonderful had all the amenities and very clean and well decorated. Pool so nice as well. Perfect walk to town, restaurants and of course the beach. Lots of great memories had.
