Place couldn’t have been better for us.

Group of friends stayed there for a birthday and it was amazing. The house was beautiful with a breathtaking view. Will definitely be back!

House was great. Not one issue. We were very pleased with the mid week hot tub service and the twice weekly trash pick up.

Great stay!

Great house. Well provisioned. Beautiful lake views, dock, decks and fire pit. Just be mindful that those with mobility issues would have trouble getting to the dock—not dissimilar to other homes.

Great location and layout for a big group

Lakeside home in Mc Henry bay with good places to swim, kayak, et al. Enjoyed the hot tub, pool table and foosball. Management was responsive to our needs, including replacing a grill within 24 hours. On the downside, the home needs a deep cleaning that is difficult to complete in the short turnover between summer renters. And someone had been staying with a shedding pet despite it being a no pet rental. Management tried to assist but it would have been disruptive for to the trip….

Great stay!

The house is beautiful and has a large supply of kitchen pots/pans/dishes/silverware/utensils on hand. Much more than I’ve seen before. For those with large trucks (like my Chevy Silverado 2500) the driveway is NO JOKE! It’s steep and has sharp turns that can’t be made in one turn. There are nice tall orange reflectors to help you see the large rocks lining the driveway, which help tremendously. A good amount of parking down below but with the boat trailer under the carport there aren’t many places to turn around a big truck. Better be a good driver because there’s no way you’re backing out of that driveway! Standard cars and SUV’s are perfectly fine! Patio furniture is dated and needs refinished/replaced. A good pressure cleaning would help. A fresh coat of stain on the staircases would improve the look. The spiral staircase needs stabilized a bit more along with the “yard” light replaced. We couldn’t get it to turn on so seeing the rock stairs coming back up to the house was difficult at night. We just bought a lantern to carry and we were good! Beds were super comfy and everything else was great!

Nice location and nice layout, but was extremely dirty

What we liked was the layout of the house and the location on Deep Creek. Kitchen was well stocked and hot tub was excellent. However, we were appalled by how unkempt the place was. Dead bugs killed and left on the ceiling, kitchen lights filled with dead bugs, pretzels and crackers left under beds and chairs, spider webs everywhere. At one point the dryer died on us and we were trying to reset the electric circuit and found the circuit panel was for some reason locked behind a door. What would someone do if they tripped a circuit? Also, backyard is very steep and one will be out breath when walking from the dock to the house. When we mentioned the dirtiness of the place upon our exit, the realtor stated that we should have called to complain. Our feeling is that they should retain cleaners that spend more than 10 minutes in a house. As an update, we requested a portion of our payment to be refunded (amount at their discretion) due to the dirt, bugs, and broken dryer. We were informed that we would not be getting a refund since we left "trash all around the house". This is untrue, we did leave a couple of empty boxes and a bag of recycling in the foyer since their street trash cans were full. There are signs not to leave trash on the street next to cans due to animals (bears). We called the realtor on checkout and informed them that we were leaving trash as we had no other place to put it -- in other words we did what we were supposed to do. They also accused us of moving furniture. We did move the loveseat a foot or two so people could watch TV. Be informed that this is the customer service you can expect.

Very Nice House but Needs A little Attention

Overall the house was great! It is right on the lake. It snowed the whole time we were there and the children went sledding in the yard and it was a great time. The rooms are very comfortable. However, couple things need some renewed attention. The kitchen equipment is in rough shape. Half of the burners on the stove wouldn't light, the dishwasher leaked water while it ran, the pots and pans were peeling non-stick coating or rusty, Kuerig machine is missing a filter, plates/cups were dirty. Also the washer (clothes) didn't work. Still it was a great vacation and lovely house. We loved the hot tub. That driveway is very steep and we almost couldn't get out on account of the snow/ice. Had to ask to have it plowed and even then still did a fair amount of sliding down the driveway (without chains).

Outdoor BBQ

The management was not attentive. We went there to enjoy the outdoor cooking with our kids but the there was no gas in BBQ. We called the management team for replacement. They said they should be there in 30 min. However, they never showed up. We waited too long to eat dinner and I called them back to check on it but no one answered the call. Kids were very disappointed and we were very upset that we couldn’t deliver our promises.

Great house in a great location!

Had a wonderful long weekend here with friends and we plan to go back! The house was in great shape and was in beautiful spot on the lake. And the amenities were all usable (not always the case in my experience with these houses)--all in all made for a great weekend! We were a group of 7 and we all had plenty of extra space.

Beautiful stay in Deep Creek!

This was an amazing house with an amazing view! Our only wish was that it was warmer so that we could've taken full advantage of all that the home offers! Nonetheless, it is a beautiful home with tons of space. And, it had everything we needed. We're contemplating re-booking for the same time next year!

We stayed here a couple weeks ago with my brothers and their kids. We had 6 kids and 5 adults. This place was the perfect vacation getaway. We had plenty of space, it was well maintained and when we needed a tank for the grill, Railey brought one over within the hour. We rented a boat from Bills Marina and docked it at the house. It was close to Wisp and a local brewery, which has great pizza. I will definitely come back here in the future.

Perfect home for a family get away

Three families had a great ski weekend in this awesome house. It had everything we needed and more. Due to a big snowstorm, the sloped driveway was very slick, but all it took was one phone call to the rental company and they immediately sent someone out to salt and plow. We definitely plan on returning.
