This cute home is simple yet elegant and has everything you need to enjoy a comfortable stay in Queenstown.


FEATURES:

This one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment is situated at the Residence Du Lac, a boutique apartment complex on the shores of Lake Wakatipu. The recently completed Residence is architecturally designed with a modern construction and east-facing windows to maximise the sun and the views.



Sliding glass doors open out both the living area and the bedroom to a balcony with stunning views across Lake Wakatipu, the Remarkables mountain range and Peninsula Hill. Complete with a BBQ, the balcony is perfect for a romantic meal and a glass of local wine whilst watching the sun set behind the mountains.



The bedroom has a comfortable Queen-sized bed and sliding doors opening out onto the balcony and the living area. The living area has modern, colourful décor, a wide-screen TV and is heated with a heat pump and wall heater making it cosy and warm in the cooler months. The kitchen boasts all the mod cons including a Nespresso coffee machine.



The Residence has direct access to the lake and easy access to the Frankton walking track, an easy lakeside path which leads to the Queenstown Gardens and CBD. From the walking track, a number of great walking and biking trails are accessible. If driving, Queenstown CBD is just a five-minute drive away, offering a range of great dining and entertainment options. The airport is a five-minute drive away, the Remarkables is 40 minutes away and Coronet Peak ski area is less than half-an-hour

Comfortable stay

Comfortable stay, amazing view and nice and quiet location. Some amenities in the property could be improved (we had no coffee pods on check in, etc) but it wasn’t too much of a problem as the shops are close by.

Small but nice

Great views but apartment very small and basic but clean. Really enjoyed evening happy hours on little deck overlooking the lake. Surprisingly quite despite being so close to the road.

A wonderful end to a spectacular trip in NZ

Our final stop during a two-week adventure across New Zealand was this charming apartment in Queenstown. It was perfectly suited to our needs, offering everything required for a comfortable stay. The location was incredibly convenient—especially for our bus tour to Milford Sound, with the bus stop conveniently located just across the road. Queenstown itself is brimming with activities and attractions, and this apartment provided the perfect balance of being close to the action while offering a private retreat to unwind. The views of Queenstown’s majestic mountain peaks from the apartment were simply spectacular—a truly serene backdrop to end our trip.

Beautiful clean location, uncomfortable bed, poor accessibility.

We stayed here for 6 nights. Location was breath taking, apartment was large, spacious & clean the bed however was like sleeping on a concrete floor but slanted. Both sides of the mattress had slopes (not the kind Queenstown is known for) so you would fall out of it. If you love a hard bed this is for you but otherwise absolutely not. Facilities were all there, nice touches of basics too. The fans in the bathroom definitely could use a clean tho. The tv was hanging on to the wall for dear life, we were scared to turn it on haha. The location was great but be mindful of the stairs not accessible friendly at all.

Honeymoon by the lake

This was the perfect start to married life. Stellar views of the lake and Remarkables exceeded our expectations. Ready access to the Queenstown Trail meant we were able to get to the gorgeous New World supermarket in Frankton (1.6 km away) far more readily than travelling in to the (sub-par) 4 Square supermarket in Queenstown itself. Armed with fresh groceries, we were able to make full use of the superb kitchenette in the apartment.

Beautiful location, modern and comfortable apartment

We loved our stay at the Supreme Lakefront Apartment! The location was stunning, with unobstructed lake view from your window and the balcony. The apartment itself is modern, sparkling clean and very comfortable. You have everything you need for your stay, including washing/drying machine and dishwasher. There is a short drive to the city centre, about 5 mins, but for us it was an advantage as we were somewhat away from the busy (and noisy) part of the city. So no any interruptions if you want to sleep a bit longer in the morning :) Hope to come back to Queenstown one day again, and we'll definitely stay at the same place!

Disappointing

Beautiful well appointed and clean apartment. But beware it is not lakefront as advertised, access is difficult and it does not get very much sun. The balcony also sits above the car park and is not at all private.

Supreme lakefront

An excellent spot where you have unobstructed view of the lake and with some breeze coming in. Amenities are complete and feel like home where you can cook and chill at home. Spacious and immaculately clean. I would say it is really value for money as it is near to Queenstown town center but still walkable from the unit. Have a lovely balcony where you can sit and watch the sunset or sunrise.

Beautiful apartment nice fittings and fabulous view! The walk into town is about 40 mins on the track by the lake just underneath the apartments but you can take a water taxi to town from the Rees Hotel
