You can enjoy your coffee on the private lanai while watching turtles (honu) and whales, during the winter season. Sunsets are amazing every single day. Every night at sunset, Kulakane tradition is to blow the conch shells at sunset. You will find a conch shell in your condo and we ask you to join other guests at the seawall to enjoy our tradition. Fridays at sunset we have a pupu (appetizer) party poolside. It's a great opportunity to share your favorite recipes and get to know other guests, owners and staff members!

We love the Kulakane!

My husband and I came here for our 25th anniversary and loved everything about our stay. The property managers Debbie and Tony are friendly and helpful and made our time there feel like home. The condo was clean, everything worked great, was stocked with just the right basics to cook some meals, and the view of the ocean can’t be beat! We can’t wait to come back Maui and will definitely be staying at the Kulakane again!

We were happy with the unit we stayed in and would stay in it again; the only suggestions we have are the addition of a TV in the bedroom, and pillows (and a mattress) that are more comfortable (and thicker cushions on the outdoor furniture :) ).

Property was recently renovated and looks fantastic! The view is incredible as you are right on the water and will want to spend as much time as possible on the lanai! Location is also very close to Lahaina. Property managers live on site and are so friendly and accommodating. This condo has everything you need to enjoy your perfect stay in Maui!

Always a lovely vacation!

We love the lanais - they are very spacious, private and right on the ocean. We have taken many photos of migrating Humpback whales, breaching and slapping their tails, while we sipped coffee on the lanai. We have many photos of the sunsets and the turtles. Such a special experience. Unit 202 was lovely. Loved the king bed with tables on BOTH sides. YAY. It could use a side chair, perhaps a recliner, in the living area. The Kulakane is close to two markets (The Times and Napili Market), many many restaurants, several golf courses, shopping, and hiking trails. Always a lovely vacation.

Each condo is unique and clearly a loved and cherished owner’s home. There is no better location for watching turtles, whales breaching and dolphins spinning. Everything is close by for walks and hikes. Easy access to grocery stores and farmers markets make it easy to use the kitchen for healthy meals. My husband snorkels every day in the protected waters right outside the units. The property is meticulously maintained and beautifully landscaped. We feel welcomed, cared for, and treated like family by the managers, Debbie and Tony. It is truly the best place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of Maui.

It’s the most beautiful place to wake up to and makes coming back to reality EXTREMELY difficult. Debbie is lovely and makes you feel a little extra special with that white board message upon arrival. Put a huge smile on my face. If you’re concerned about not having air conditioning.... Maybe visiting Maui isn’t for you. The breeze in the morning is beautiful and you can’t help but waking up and going to sleep with a smile on your face and the sound of the ocean. Thank you for another incredible stay and hope to be back again next year!

This is my second time staying at the Kulakane, and I look forward to coming back again soon! The bed was incredibly comfy (this coming from a 24 week pregnant lady), and all appliances worked as expected. The snorkeling out behind the condo is great, and we even got the pleasure of seeing an octopus.

I am happy to be living in paradise and I live on the property that I manage. When guests book any of our condos, I will be here to greet you personally. I am a mother of 2, grandmother of 7 and Great grandmother of 2 and I adore my family! I encourage them to come see me as often as possible as they all live on the main land. What a place to come visit Grammie and Grandpa, right?

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

There are so many little shops and restaurants within walking distance of the condos. There are also food trucks just down the street from here across from the Times Supermarket, which is less than a mile from the condos. Guests go get their take out food and come back and eat on their lanai's and watch for turtles. Honokowai is a very nice little neighborhood between Ka'anapali and Kahana.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We are a small 42 condo complex directly ocean front. Every condo has the same amazing view. You can see Honu (sea turtles) in the surf out front every day and during the whale season, you can watch those play all day as well. We have a Pupu (appetizers, potluck style) party every Friday night at sunset. Hawaiian tradition is to blow the conch shells at sunset every evening to each point on the compass. We do that every evening. It's a very friendly homey kind of place that I think you'll love.
