Casa Vistosa - Colorful Abode on the Santa Barbara Mesa

In Spanish, vistosa translates to colorful. This residence located on the Mesa is exactly that: vibrant colors, playful aesthetic, with chic interior accents. The custom features include vaulted ceilings, carved in arches, and beautiful Spanish tile. Casa Vistosa is a three bed, two bath home with landscaped gardens and flowering plants located just a short distance from the beach, grocery stores, shopping and restaurants.

It offers a primary bedroom with large walk in closet and en-suite bathroom with separate shower and large soaking tub with jets. The secondary bedroom has a queen-sized bed and tertiary bedroom contains another queen-size bed. This is an ideal family home with a gorgeous chef's fully stocked kitchen.

Several French Doors open to the back patios and allow natural light to filter into the house. The charming backyard provides for the perfect ambiance for a BBQ dinner, morning coffee or post beach relaxation session. The garage is filled with beach ready items like boggie boards, beach chairs and a beach umbrella. Take the bikes down to the beach and return to an outdoor shower and a burger night. Welcome to quintessential Santa Barbara living!

Lovely Mesa home close to Mesa Town Center, beach and more. The house was very well kept and cozy. We had one minor refrigerator issue that was immediately remediated by Wanderlust same day. Would come back again!

The place was perfect for our needs. Very clean & well appointed. The only thing that needed attention was the kitchen faucet. It needs replaced! Doesn’t move & water barely comes out. A hair dryer in bathroom would also be nice. Thank you for a great visit!!

Excellent location, relatively quiet neighborhood (dogs and suburban sounds of leaf blowers), lovely home that feels more spacious than the square footage would indicate. Quick response to a few minor issues. We'd gladly stay again should the opportunity arise.

A very comfortable house

Family wedding celebration

Impressive Stay!

Even though it was our fault we did not realize this property did not have AC, it was a great stay! Opening some of the windows and turning on the fans really helped. We enjoyed our stay! Clean and so cute!

Wonderful property! So comfortable and well equipped. We were a group of 5 and stayed for my son's graduation from UCSB. We were able to host a lovely family BBQ with 5 other family members to celebrate him and were so impressed by how stocked the kitchen was to host such an event. It was like being in my own kitchen. We were all able to spread out in the kitchen and lounge in the living room together. The owners have truly thought of everything to make a stay easy, and to have an enjoyable vacation in SB. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Great Place. The Mesa has everything

We grew up in SB and have lived on Palisades when we were younger! The location is perfect! We love the Boathouse and Shoreline cafe so really easy to get to. The house perfect for our kids to run and play. I would recommend this property to everyone. If I had to say anything that was a con, it would be the water in the master bedroom took a long time to heat up. And that wasn’t a big deal at all. Love the property!

Adorable house and perfect location

The house was amazing. It actually seemed bigger in person than it did online. Perfect location. Literally a 2 minute walk from the grocery store, starbucks, food/restaurants and right by the beach. There were a couple of maintenance issues but the property manager handled them with grace and urgency. I cannot wait to come back to SB to stay here again.

GREAT Location

Great location. Walk to stores, coffee shops, restaurants. Beach gear in garage with bikes. Property Manager responds quickly if you have any questions or concerns. Small improvement could be a towel rack in the primary bathroom, there is no where to put your towel when you shower. We were sad to leave and can't wait to be back!

Location, Location, Location!

This home is perfect for a stay with family or friends. Close to everything. Walk to groceries, massage, coffee shop, and a few restaurants. The bikes were awesome for getting to the Preserve for a walk, ride to the waterfront or the steps at Mesa. We'd definitely come back! Also, the property management team was extremely prompt and helpful with any of our questions.

Great homebase for all our SB activities!

Our family stayed here while in Santa Barbara for a recent wedding. The various events and activities took place all over SB, but when mapped with Google, everything seemed to be 7 minutes away - the perfect, short drive. The house was clean and comfortable, great for relaxing with coffee in the morning or discussing the day's activities after dinner in the evening. (We didn't really use the kitchen much.) Everything about the wedding weekend was perfect, including this great home.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this Santa Barbara house with the grassy backyard and patio, perfect for outdoor dining. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, just a short drive from Hendry's Beach and the yummy Boathouse restaurant in one direction and downtown, wharf, and zoo in the other. The house was comfortable with great decor, well stocked with dishes/cookware in good condition and very clean but could have used minor repairs to the kitchen faucet (clogged head and neck wouldn't swivel) and bath faucets (clogged head/missing handle). We appreciated the ceiling fans and windows with screens, so we could open them for ocean air/nature sounds without the bugs getting in or having to turn on the AC. The master shower was great, as were niceties like toiletries, kleenix, and reading lamps in the bedrooms. Smart TV was fine but recommend getting an antenna so guests can enjoy local stations too. The laundry center and basket was very appreciated, as we didn't have to pack as much on our trip. At check-in, we were informed by the mgmt co. that the fridge was not cooling properly, and we should use the mini fridge in the garage. The next day a small fridge was delivered to the kitchen for our stay. Although we would have liked earlier notice and the situation was inconvenient, the mgmt co. communicated often and provided a solution in a timely manner, which we appreciated. Overall, we had a fun and relaxing time and recommend Casa Vistosa to all.

Great place, location, and...

...a couple things would improve the stays for your clients. 1.) Spend for the cable, it was a bummer not to be able to watch the World Cup - TV was a royal pain to try and login to our hometown providers that blocked out the matches. 2.)I have to believe most people who rent this place have a min of 4 people. You should upgrade to 4 decent beach cruisers. With 3 bikes, someone is left out. Bummer. Otherwise was a great stay! :-)
