You will be greeted with a complementary gift basket including a local bottle of wine, chips and chocolates. Complimentary tea, coffee, coffee machine and milk are all part of your welcoming.
We are located just 110m from the best pubs Mudgee has to offer and 350m to the heart of the town for your convenience to cafes, boutiques and supermarkets.

Second time staying at 70 on Mortimer and just as lovely. Everything you need in a central location. The apartments are lovely and spacious, clean and beautiful. Love staying here and will be back again!

Great location, easy walk to restaurants, shops and pubs. Excellent off street parking and easy check in. Generous and thoughtful ‘extras’. Bed very comfortable and linen beautiful.

Just right for a long weekend

Great location and very well appointed apartment w seperate lounge, kitchen bathroom and bedroom. Wveeything you could want is provided. Walked everywhere in as is close to centre of town w lots of cafes, pubs and restaurants.

Beautifully decorated and comfortable

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and thought the place was tastefully decorated. The place was clean and very comfortable. It was very close to the main centre of Mudgee and everything that we needed or wanted. It was also far enough away from the main centre to be quiet on a bustling Saturday night. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to our friends and family.

Beautiful place with character

What a gorgeous place to stay within walking distance to all Mudgee town has to offer. We loved our stay with all the little extra touches, including the coffee machine. The bed had beautiful linen and was lovely and comfortable. The heating and air-con kept us warm. Would highly recommend.

Mudgee Getaway

70 on Mortimer was an excellent place to stay, almost in the heart of Mudgee. The accommodation featured all that you need for a few days away. The decor was eclectic and the ambience of the old building added to the experience. I would highly recommend this property and if we return in the future will certainly want to stay here.

Lovely blend of old heritage features, high ceilings meets updated functional living with pleasing ecclectic design style. Very comfortable stay. Great location near the smokehouse brewery, several pubs, near Coles and main street. Would definitely stay again. The host obviously takes a lot of pride in this apartment.

Great location, beautiful residence

Whilst we did not spend much time in the room, it was very clean and well appointed. The only downside is that the small hot water service is used for 2 units and we had cold showers twice.

Quick weekend away

The black cockatoo room was amazing. The room is exactly as the pictures look. It is so well thought out, having all the little extras of your everyday home. The hosts have thought of everything Location is so close to town, we walked all over. The place is so warm and cozy, we will definitely be back. Thanks for having us.

Amazing accomodation

My husband and I loved our stay ay 70 on Mortimer. We stayed in the Black Cockatoo room. It was exactly as shown in the pictures. Beautifully decorated, with a keen attention to details - many extras included to ensure the perfect stay. The accomodation was spotless. The fires made it warm and cosy. It is located on a main street but away from foot traffic/ cars noise and was very quiet at night. The host greeted us upon arrival and ensured we had everything we needed. We were an easy 3 minute stroll into the centre of Mudgee. We would highly recommend this accomodation and will definitely rebook should be return to Mudgee.

Classy comfort

The big things are well taken care of: comfy bed, well-stocked kitchen (pots, utensils etc), dishwasher and fridge, spacious and airy with high ceilings. Its also the little things that set this into the top class: toothbrush and shaver in case you forget yours; lavendar oil to helo you sleep, hand moisturiser in the kitchen and bathroom. Ten out of ten!

Grand old proportions & gorgeously decorated this unit is the perfect stay and play when in Mudgee.

Absolutely loved our unit with its high ceilings comfortable furnishings and convenient location. Even though the unit front door steps straight out onto the footpath it was always remarkably quiet. We were lucky enough to meet some fellow travellers in the unit next to ours and took full advantage of the back outdoor tables, sipping wine and eating nibbles together whilst chatting about our local explorations and swim at "The Drip" earlier that day. I highly recommend this wonderful stayz option whilst in Mudgee, thank you Ronya for your lovely hospitality.

Exceptional stay at 70 on Mortimer

My husband and I have just enjoyed a fabulous short break at 70 on Mortimer in Mudgee. We can highly recommend this lovingly restored historic property to other couples. The location was fabulous - only a few minutes walk from the main street but quiet and private. We were thrilled to be able to stay in the stylish Black Cockatoo Room. Ronya, our host, has a real flair for property styling and this beautiful apartment was very welcoming. We especially loved the fireplaces and the comfortable bed. The kitchen and bathroom were immaculate and stocked with everything we needed - a real "home away from home." Ronya was also a great communicator. We would highly recommend this fabulous property for anyone wishing to stay in Mudgee.
