Exam break ski getaway

We truly enjoyed our stay at this home. It was cozy, had so many games and puzzles, fully stocked kitchen, and we spent lots of time in the hot tub. Perfect location for skiing out, getting supplies from the market and going out for dinner!

Fantastic Stay at Big White!

Owners were very friendly to deal with, and accommodating for a few additional questions/requests. Location is stellar, with a very short walk to the main restaurants and access to 2 ski runs, allowing quick access to the hill. 10/10 would reccomend to anyone looking for a affordable stay, with nearly ski-in ski,-out accommodations

Comfortable, clean and well maintained

I have stayed at Trappers Crossing many times and this was the cleanest, most well maintained unit yet. The owner was very responsive and the location right across from the village couldn't be better. I would definitely stay here again.

Nicely furnished and equipped. Very comfortable. It would be small for more than 4 adults. The condo is a short walk-in walk-out for skiing but certainly doableHost was very responsive to our needs.

Great Location

Always nice to be close to the village. The only think missing is the true ski-in ski-out. That is not easy to find though. Otherwise we enjoyed the cozy comfort that you get from this 2 bedroom condo. The bed in the master was very comfortable.

Great location with young kids

We stayed as a family of 4 in this unit. 2 kids, ages 4 and 8 and 2 adults. There was enough space for us all and the hot tub is great. Location is what made this unit really stand out. It was a short 4min walk to the village and kids club, which made drop offs for ski school simple every morning. Unit was quiet and had everything we needed.

Location, location, location! What a spot! We have a truck (too big for the garage so had to park it in the lower mountain lot) so location was everything for us and this unit is ideally placed right on the fringe of the main village. Perfect access to everything, including great restaurants, the market, and most importantly, the slopes. The updated decor/paint was gorgeous – you can tell that the owners really care about their place and their guests experience. We also loved that it was only one flight of stairs up - nicely removed from ground level activity/noise, but not so far as to require multiple flights of stairs in ski boots at the end of long days. This was also our family’s first year away from home for Christmas so we were thrilled when we arrived to see that our host had put up a fully decorated Christmas tree for the holiday season - really REALLY nice touch Kyle, can’t thank you enough for that! We definitely look forward to returning!

Glade Escape at Big White

We stayed at this condo for just over one month. We enjoyed every single day. This condo is equipped with everything you need for a long or short stay. Having your own private hot tub on the private balcony is so enjoyable after a great day of skiing on beautiful Big White. Big White resort is a fabulous ski resort with so much variety for every type of skier or boarder. The terrain is huge and you can find new places to ski every day. Our hosts were very responsive to all of our inquiries. The condo is literally a few steps from both the slopes and the village where you will find restaurants, groceries, beer, wine, liquor, ski and board rentals, ski and board shops, ski repair and tuning and so much more. Come and enjoy all Big White has to offer and enjoy this wonderful condo

Mountain dream place

Very close to the Village. Place as advertised. My kids were missing Netflix but they are taking care of that for the future. We didn't use the hot tub very much, but every 3-5 days they send someone to check it. Probably won't do a hot tub again because of that hassle. The bedding all had a very strong body odor smell, and that was our only issue. Even with rewashing everything, it did not help. But, overall, we enjoyed the place. It was clean, close, convenient and well stocked with appliances, dishes, cookware, and the owners were very responsive and easy to communicate with. They took care of problems immediately. We got locked out after not being there for a few days and they reprogrammed the door lock immediately. We were grateful that they were paying attention and didn't have to stay in the cold.

Thank you for your review Diane, it was a pleasure hosting you and your family. I am so glad you enjoyed my home and found it convenient and well equipped. Cleanliness is extremely important to me as a host, which is why I test and balance the hot tub regularly to ensure the water stays properly sanitized and is safe for my guests use. This is standard practice for units with private hot tubs. I replaced all the primary bedsheets at the start of this season, so I’m very perplexed as to why they would have an odour. I do also carry spare sets of sheets and duvet covers in the hallway closet. We have just invested in Roku units so guests will be able to access Netflix and other streaming services going forward.

I'm a young professional, trying to find the balance between exploring the world and keeping up to the demands of a challenging career. I'm passionate about the outdoors and love all four seasons that we're lucky enough to experience in the BC interior. When I'm not busy with my day job you can generally find me exploring, enjoying one of the many lakes in our area, or skiing at Big White.

I grew up in the greater Toronto area. After graduating university at Carleton in Ottawa, I moved to Kelowna. While I only intended to spend a season living in and exploring Kelowna, I fell in love with the Okanagan and Big White. Growing up in an avid ski family, it was always my dream to have a ski resort property for my family to enjoy.

As a passionate traveler myself, I love to host other individuals, couples and families and welcome them to what I believe is one of the best ski resorts out there. Come experience the champaign powder paradise of Big White, we would be happy to welcome you!
