Welcome to 'Saltwater', formerly known as 'Logan's Sunset.' A lovely 2 story waterfront townhouse on Chincoteague Bay with gorgeous views from both floors. Experience beautiful sunsets and NASA rocket launches from the front balcony. The screened back porch offers a great source of private outdoor entertainment as it boasts a comfortable six-person dining area. All three bedrooms have their own flat screen tv with cable. The main bedroom includes a desk perfect for working from home, virtual learning and streaming. Saltwater includes high-speed internet and free Wi-Fi. The main bedroom has it's own ensuite full bath with jetted tub/shower. The additional bedroom has a private full tub/shower. The 3rd bedroom has a bunk with two full size beds with an additional twin bed. Guests can also enjoy the coastal outdoor shower. The private expansive 600 foot shared deep water dock provides hours of endless Saltwater fun!

Saltwater has a fully stocked kitchen including an outdoor charcoal grill.

- Linens and towels are included with your reservation.
- No smoking is permitted on the premises.
- This property is pet friendly with a pet fee per pet. Pet fee is $150 per pet. All pets must be disclosed prior to arrival.
- Any reservations made for a future year (known as "Advanced Reservations") are subject to rate and availability changes. These reservations will be confirmed in January of the arrival year.

Nice comfortable place

We loved the property and views. The stains on the carpeting were not nice to look at. Large round stains and some lines or piddle stains. So worried we would be charged or blamed I took dated pictures as soon as we came in.

Charges large fee to have fresh linens on beds; requires dogs to be crated even after paying pet fee

The house looked like the pictures and the view was very nice. That said, the additional fees were exorbitant and some were unfair. The most shocking was a large fee to have fresh linens put on beds and bath towels provided. They also charged almost triple what we typically pay for our dog to stay at an accommodation but required dogs to be crated when renters left the house. We brought two older, well trained dogs who are not crated at home, so this was not at all what we expected for a dog friendly listing. All of these fees were in addition to the cleaning fee. Needless to say we would not rent with this company again and cannot recommend it to others.

Stunning location…breathtaking views from sun up to sun down. Bring your own supplies though…no dish towels, dishwasher detergent, etc. This is minor however - you will LOVE the location and the great service from the realty company that manages this property.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to Chincoteague for 10 years of which 8 have been in 1 of these 3 adjoining units. The houses have always been clean and well maintained until this year. Blinds broken, ants, pictures damaged, walls banged up, dirty upholstery, stained carpets, outside damage under bay window,, birds building nests, etc. just to mention a few maintenance issues. Did we enjoy our stay? Absolutely, however, I am worried about the future upkeep of property, Will it worsen?

2021 Pony Swim Stay

We just love this rental. We have stayed in it the past 4 years when we come for our vacation during the pony swim. The new owners did a great job with decorating and updating the place. Our boys loved the new bunk room. It fits perfectly for our family. The sunsets cannot be beat and the fishing is great too!

Still not sure if we like this contactless check in and out. Kinda like to see a face and voice giving us all the info. Oyster Fest was very filling and enjoyed ourselves with all our friends and relatives. The tv's were confusing to us older generation. Would be nice to have written instructions to just watch tv in each room.

Great water view & clean comfortable condo

This condo is a nice quieter spot for a trip to the island. Very close to the marina and the downtown area but away from the noise. The pier is beautiful especially at sunset. The house is clean with three good sized bedrooms, two and a half baths, a nice screened in porch, and a decent sized kitchen with the basics.

Relaxing and Comfy!

He's in law enforcement and I am a nurse, for vacation we really just want to relax and unwind. This place is perfect for it. My family and I have been staying at this wonderful rental for the past 4 years for our summer vacation. We have been coming to the island for our summer vacation for the past 12 years. We love this rental. The new owners did a fabulous job on updating it. You cannot beat the beautiful sunset views and awesome fishing from the pier. The beds and living room furniture is very comfortable. Our kids love the bunk room. The kitchen has pretty much everything you need.

Great location, but needs to hire a new housekeeper

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We began our stay by having to contact the realty company because one of the mattresses was missing a mattress pad and the mattress was too stained to sleep on. The next day we were provided with a mattress cover that resembled a plastic shower liner. It didn’t stay on the mattress and it was extremely noisy. We also discovered that there were only 3 dinner knives in the house. The sofa has several stains and spots where dried food was smeared on it. We had to wipe down most surfaces because they looked and felt dirty and we are not clean freaks. The carpet was covered in dog fur. We tried vacuuming, but the vacuum lacked suction. That made us question why we are charged for cleaning services if we have to tidy up just to be comfortable. As a heads up, the bunk bed is two double beds, which isn’t mentioned on the website. The location can not be beat. We love the peace and quiet of S. Main. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets and dolphin watching from the dock. Because pet friendly waterfront properties are few and far between we will most likely return to Logan’s Sunset.

It was a great place to relax. The house was immaculately cleaned, and the listing had noted that it has been updated for 2021 - we really liked the furnishings/decorations. It is a quiet spot - a little drive to the restaurants and the national park - but not an inconvenience. We stayed in January and it was on the cool side - the extra blankets were appreciated, and the heat did kick in (just took a bit to warm the upstairs). The dock was fun for our daughter to explore.
