Lakeside at Blue Mountain is a great place for family and friends. Located within walking distance of the beach and shops. We loved our stay!

The house was very clean and spacious, with a wonderful kitchen that was well-equipped for our needs. We were so happy that the place was pet-friendly, and having a pool close by was wonderful. It was a very short walk to the beach, convenient to restuarants and we loved having the golf cart to make quick trips and roam around the area! We really enjoyed our week's stay and hope that this house is available when we return in a few months. Thank you, Jo Ann

House and location are great! House is fully stocked with everything you may need. Beach gear is available for use, so no need to haul your own. Golf cart made everything so easy. 10s across the board!

The home was well stocked with everything you could need. Toys to keep the kids occupied, puzzles and games for evening family time, plenty of pots and pans for cooking. The nearby pool was just the right size. The grill and fire pit in the backyard were convenient. The golf cart ride to the beach was a breeze. Our only complaint would be that the listing does not state there is a 30 fee associated with using the golf cart. This should be disclosed up front before booking. However, this was minor and we overall very much enjoyed our family vacation.

Excellent house! Great location!

This house was directly in front of the neighborhood pool. And nice walking distance from the beach. Lots of detail made this beauty a pleasure.

Beach Thanksgiving

Met family for thanksgiving at the beach- it was such an amazing house! Totally impressed everyone we stayed with. We brought our two young children and they had a blast- great beach access without being right on the beach which we preferred. Totally recommended!!!!

Family trip before school.

Beautiful and spacious home! Walk to beach wasn’t too bad. Homeowner provided wagon and beach essentials to make visiting the beach easy. Ideal location. Close to great breakfast, dinner and desert. Host quickly responded to questions and request. We plan to return. Quiet neighborhood.

Great place to vacation!

We enjoyed the stay at Gin and Tonic. Rebecca was extremely responsive and helpful. Great place to stay. We did wish there were a few more basic items left there. We didn’t have things like napkins or paper cups. We were told that in advance but other places we stayed did have items on hand. Also wish that check in was earlier and checkout later. You basically pay for a day that’s wasted.

Family getaway

Gin and Tonic was perfect for our family getaway. Bedrooms were spacious and plenty of bathrooms for our group of 6 adults and 3 kids. Only have one criticism concerning space in the kitchen. Only made for one person honestly. Space is small between the stove and the island. We found ourselves accidentally bumping into the stove dials. Have to watch that! But all is was great. I would recommend Gin and Tonic for your stay!

Hello Anne, We are eager that guests enjoy our beach home and not feel stressed, as well as not stressing the house with too many visitors. This is an unfortunate review and highly unfair since our property description is clear about the number of beds and sleeping options we offer at our property. We, as owners, have done the space test and have had 11 in the house which included 9 adults and 2 children. In fact, we purposely used all beds and the portable playpen (included) for the 2 yr old. The air mattress and PackNPlay easily fit in ample closets during the day to give back space. Our history of excellent reviews leads me to believe this was simply a frustration review and a party of people whose organizer was impossible to please.

All around 5 stars.

Beautiful home, excellent location and great amenities. But really what made it 5 stars was the service. The outdoor shower had low pressure, but with one call, in 15 minutes someone came and fixed the issue. A second issue arose with the golf cart, no cable, one text to the owner and he came within 20 minutes and provided a new cable and we were good to go. I think that's what makes the difference, as a homeowner I know nothing will be perfect and things will wear down, but resolving the issues in a timely manner is what makes the difference. Thank you. We plan to stay again.

Beautiful Home in a Quiet Community

Our family had a wonderful time staying at Gin & Tonic. The gift basket was a very nice touch. We have always enjoyed staying in the Blue Mountain Beach part of Santa Rosa Beach because it's much quieter than the crowded areas like Seaside...yet a quick drive from all of those activities if you do want to venture out. Gin & Tonic was definitely our favorite Blue Mountain Beach home-away-from-home so far. This beautifully decorated home is in a small community with new construction homes and is situated next to the neighborhood pool...which was convenient when my family wanted a break from the beach. There is a private neighborhood path that will take you to Redfish Village, home of Trebeache, for a nice dinner or happy hour. The best ice cream, waffle cones, and donuts are also located nearby at Blue Mountain Beach creamery. The local Publix grocery store is only 5 minutes away for supply runs. Tip: bring bikes and bring cash for the addictive cash-only ice cream stand nearby :)

Beautiful Home

This Beautiful home had everything you expect in a vacation home plus so many extras. We came down for a thanksgiving vacation and had a wonderful experience at Gin & Tonic. The home was beautiful, clean, in a great area, and had many extras I’ve never seen in a vacation home. Like a fooseball table and chess board that helped keep my teens entertained. The one and only minor flaw was the kitchen area. Although the kitchen is beautiful and fully stocked it could have had a bit more room. The island sits a little close to the stove. The area is plenty big enough to have set the island another foot or so away. We usually aren’t cooking much on vacation so had we not been preparing a big meal for Thanksgiving we wouldn’t have noticed. Having said that I would gladly rent this property again.

What you expect in a rental!

This place is in a great spot, the house is great. Had everything we needed for the house and the wagon was a great benefit for going to the beach. 10/10 recommendation! We would recommend to anyone!

Comfortable vacation home

Gin and tonic vacation home is very well maintained. Very clean and comfortable. Has all the necessities. Very spacious, was able to accommodate 3 families. Conveniently located. A short walk to the beach and even shorter by car (3 min). Good places to eat right nearby. Owners respond super quickly to any questions. Highly recommended.

Stay at Gin and Tonic

My family enjoyed their stay at the Gin and Tonic ! The house was clean , roomy and located in a nice neighborhood! The Blue Mountain Creamery and Red Fish Taco were within walking distance and great to frequent ! You can walk to the beach , but we rented a golf cart to take all our stuff , and it worked like a dream ! We enjoyed our stay , and would recommend!
