Welcome to Mammoth Estates #223, a charming two-bedroom, two-bathroom townhome perfectly situated in the heart of Mammoth Lakes. Nestled in a peaceful forest setting yet just a short walk to The Village at Mammoth with the Village Gondola, this home offers the perfect balance of convenience and tranquility, and allows your pet. Inside, you’ll find a comfortable living space with granite countertops, a smart TV, and beautiful forest and mountain views. This unit accommodates up to 6 guests, featuring a Queen bed in the primary bedroom, with private en-suite with tub/shower combo, and two Twin beds in the second guest room, along with additional sleeping in the living room with a sofa bed. The full hallway bathroom offers a tub/shower combo. Both bedrooms are on the lower level offering privacy in this spacious, split level floorplan condo. Step outside and enjoy the year-round amenities that Mammoth Estates has to offer — unwind in the Jacuzzi or sauna, challenge friends in the game room, or take a refreshing dip in the outdoor pool during the summer months. Relax in the sunshine and take in the peaceful mountain scenery surrounding the property. As a guest, you’ll also receive complimentary full access to the Snowcreek Athletic Club, featuring an indoor heated pool, steam room and sauna, full fitness center, and yoga, Pilates, and cycling studios. Mammoth Getaway

Clean and well cared for cabin. Each room has its own heater, total bonus. Could use some more lights and parking was a free for all. But those are my only two small complaints. Easy walk to village and gondola. We will definitely be back.

Our Second Home in the Mountains

The condo (our second stay in this unit) is very clean and super cozy. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed (except the food, of course) to cook our meals and, frankly, I was jealous of the matching glass and dinner ware.The beds are super comfortable with plenty of extra blankets, the bathrooms spotless and stocked with big bottles (not those dinky hotel ones) of soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion, not to mention plenty of towels, TP, etc.Opening the kitchen window and rear sliding glass door let's a perfect breeze through, not to mention the scent of mountain pine trees.There is a beautiful pool and big Jacuzzi and sauna, plus a rec room with ping pong and a pool table (bring quarters) where our kids and their friends got to play pool for the first time. Very nice.Parking is abundant. A stop for the free trolly is a 5-minute walk away to take you and your bikes wherever you want to go, either down the hill into town to shop for groceries, or up the hill to the ski slopes, lakes or hiking trails.This was our second stay at Mammoth Estates and we look forward to making many more wonderful memories there in the years to come.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location and the check in was a breeze. Condo is a good size for four people; 6 would be quite tight. The biggest complaint is it is SO dark. Windows only on two sides and lighting insufficient and outdated. The chandeliers had cobwebs and ceiling beams are very dusty. Kitchen is well stocked. If this is what your budget allows then you'll be happy with location; personally I will spend more next time and go somewhere more updated.

The master bedroom bed is perhaps a double bed and I called in advance to ask the size of the bed and they told me it was a queen. Also, the master toilet broke on its second flush. Even the walk back from the Village Gondola uphill in ski boots wasn’t too much of a chore. Would stay here again.

The unit itself is decent, upstairs updated, however downstairs has old carpet and in need of updating. Beds seemed to be older and we found them not to be comfortable. Was warmer and with no AC and not one fan to be found and made it hard to sleep. Master bedroom only had a sliding door with a metal rail, didn't make much sense and did not feel comfortable in leaving it open at night as screen didn't even latch closed. We wound up leaving a day early as the room was over 82 degrees. A couple of fans would do wonders.
