Le contará a todos sus amigos cómo encontró el lugar perfecto para disfrutar de una visita al pueblo de Stony Creek de Branford cuando reserve en Tree Fort Suite. Los techos altos y los acentos de madera rústica crean un nido acogedor, pero con todas las comodidades modernas para una limpieza y comodidad. Beautiful place - you can tell it was a labor of love. Host thought of everything. Comfortable, cozy and welcoming!!! The only thing I might have wanted to know about was that a train ran behind the property and woke me up several times during the night. I rarely get away and when I do, I really value peace and quiet. But, the host did provide earplugs, so if you are comfortable wearing, this won't be a problem.

Even better than the photos! Great location, walkable to stores and food in Stony Creek. Barbara was a super responsive and generous host. There are so many small details in this home that made it fantastic. Highly recommend!

The living room and kitchen were big and airy. The bathroom was updated. The whole house was absolutely spotless. Kitchen was fully stocked, though we didn't need to use anything. The communication was excellent. The manager was very accommodating. There is a train track nearby, but it wasn't a problem for us at night. Overall, we had a very good stay.

What a beautiful little place! Where some hosts provide the basics needed, Barbara went above and beyond throughout every inch of the home. Everything was “above 5 stars”! From the Keurig coffee maker (along with coffees to choose), to lush towels in the bathroom, a dishwasher (yay!), extra comfy furniture to relax in and just beautiful decor, it was more than just a place to stay. It felt like home! Thank you for being so welcoming! We had a wonderful weekend!

Every possible comfort provided in a stunningly tasteful setting - we keep coming back to this very special property. This was our 4th or 5th visit and it certainly will not be our last. Barbara is a wonderful host who really cares about her guests, and Stony Creek is a lovely community perfect for strolling while admiring sunsets over the Thimble Islands. Hopefully, our next visit is not too far off in the future.

Nearby trails, close to the water and access to the Thimble Islands. And a great breakfast and lunch spot an easy walk away. Lovely and peaceful area.

Awesome property for a 12 night stay to visit family and friends

Came to the area with my two adult daughters and granddaughter to celebrate my mom’s 95th birthday! Then I got to visit with friends and my cousins. Everyone loved their stay at the Tree Fort. Will definitely want to visit and stay here again. Lovely accommodating host and beautiful and comfortable property. Thanks again!

Open and bright!

This upper level unit had lots to offer! Spacious, large open living area with great natural light. Fun decor, and lots of extras. The deck was huge with multiple sitting areas to relax. Two minute walk will give you incredible views and sunsets by the water. I would definitely recommend

Lovely, spacious, charming

The apartment was fantastic. The space was bigger than it looks, and the design was really inviting and welcoming. Our family of 4 was very comfortable. The location is also great - wish we’d been there during the summer season where more things were open. But I’d definitely come back!

Fall at the shore

Beautiful property, beautiful neighborhood, perfect fall weekend and the sunsets were fantastic. Stay was very comfortable with all the amenities. Host was very easy to work with.

A perfect stay

The apartment is exactly as depicted. It is clean, comfortable, spacious and very well equipped. It’s bright and sunny and the view is lovely. The large deck is a pleasure. The area is so pretty and just going for walks is wonderful. I will definitely choose to stay there again.

Quick Family Reunion in CT

This little gem was the perfect place for my nuclear family to use as a home base for this family reunion/memorial weekend. It is so well appointed and clean that we wanted for nothing. So many homey touches and thoughtful details. It’s a great property, in a great location. Barbara was very responsive and kind. Would recommend to all.

Delightful Suite with all the amenities of home

The neighborhood was delightful. Many people out walking dogs and talking with friends. The Suite itself was well cared for and had all the little things you would want, cell phone charger, coffee, Alexa. Felt like home. Communication with the manager was prompt and personable. I would stay here anytime I’m in that area.

Adorable Spot!

Love this place. My husband and I stayed for a few nights and we will be back when in the area. Quiet, Quaint Neighbhorhood . 2 minute walk to the beach . Stop by Stoney Creek Market for a coffee in the morning and walk on the Trolley Trail. Such a beautiful location. ! House was very clean and had everything we needed.Thank you for a wonderful stay .

Perfect for us

We stayed two days at the Tree House Suite. It was perfect for our needs, we loved the decor, and proximity for walking and trips to Branford. It is spacious, well stocked, with careful attention to little touches that made us feel welcome.

Great getaway in charming village on the coast but conveniently close to highway 95

Very confortable, relaxed and conveniently located stay in well stocked holiday retreat. We attended a multi day wedding event some 20 miles away from the apartment but this proved the perfect place to relax from the festivities in between. Very nice master bedroom, great bed, very nice kitchen with all the amenities, great view on the coast plus road from the living room. It was also nice to have two separate beds in the second bedroom although these beds were probably better suited for kids/teenagers not so much for adults. Shower needs some adjusting before you get to the right temperature. It is located right next to a train so expect an occasional one passing by which is sometimes a bit longer than you want it to be. Frequency is low though so no reason to complain. All in all we were very pleased with our 4 day stay and would certainly recommend it.

As Branford natives, we both are very familiar with the local area and enjoy renovation and preservation projects, and are happy to share our tales of what we learned about our building's history and character. Both fans of Big East Basketball, Claudio is a Providence College Friar and Barbara is a Villanova Wildcat - so when it's March Madness, we are glued to the stats! After globetrotting in the yachting industry, Barbara's 15-year residence in Florida came to a halt when she relocated back to New England in 2008. As frequent vacation home renters ourselves, we know what travelers expect when they arrive at their destination: clean comfort.

We renovated Claudio's childhood home in this great New England town and know that the shoreline real estate here is HOT! Together we merged our skill-sets on the Stony Creek Depot project to showcase our design aesthetic, expand our retail vintage business and secure a home in a highly coveted neighborhood. Our guests can book short-term stays in the spacious residential space to enjoy this wonderful little coastal village. Residents and tourists take in the beautiful Thimble Island views and nature hikes that are just footsteps from the Depot's front door. We love Branford and consider ourselves lucky to get a footing in the Stony Creek village, where properties often remain in the same family for generations. We are dedicated to helping this property flourish as a vibrant part of the community since it has a 100+ year history of adapting to commercial and residential enjoyment.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

This property retains the original flavor of an older, coastal New England home, while bringing in some of the modern comforts that we enjoy and guests will expect in a vacation rental. Without having direct water views we are able to keep the price point a bit lower than higher dollar properties footsteps away, making it a budget-friendly alternative to a generic hotel room. Because we are also pet-friendly and only require a 2-day minimum booking (not a full week), Stony Creek Depot is a great weekend getaway retreat. We love using this residential space while we run our onsite, street-front business and we hope that making it available for short-term rental will enable visitors to appreciate the charms of the Stony Creek village.
