We go to South Carolina every September and have stayed at multiple beach houses. This is a favorite and the quiet neighborhood is one of the reasons we like it so much. Close to the airport, and shopping but most importantly the beach is fantastic and the home is very comfortable. One of the few homes with recliners, which makes a bigger difference than you think! Why don’t more beach houses have recliners?!

My family and I rented the Oasis for my 40th birthday vacation. The property was nestled nicely in a peaceful community right on the beach and when we first arrived, it exceeded expectations. The photos didn’t do it justice. The space was beautiful, the views were incredible, and it truly felt like home away from home. It was perfect for the adults and our kids (ages 1-13) alike. We spent time enjoying every space, indoors and out, through the week and on our second night, we were already talking about dates we can make it back next summer. A few minor wear-and-tear things were noticed (a loose cabinet door in the kitchen, a bedroom door lock that didn’t quite lock) but my group of 20 would all return and highly recommend to others.

Thank you for the wonderful 5-star review and for choosing The Oasis for your 40th birthday celebration. It’s great to hear the property exceeded expectations, felt like a home away from home, and worked well for both adults and kids. We appreciate you noting the loose cabinet door and the bedroom lock — maintenance has been informed to address those items. Thank you for recommending The Oasis; we look forward to welcoming your group back.

Perfect family vacation!

Check in was great, actually was able to check in an hour early. They had everything we needed in the kitchen. All bedrooms were great with everyone having their own bathrooms. It was nice having the outside bathroom & shower. That really came in handy. The outdoor area was awesome. We sat around it every evening. We all had a blast. Will definitely go again!!!

Our third year of renting this house

We love this house. It is very pricey but has everything you could need. Beautiful view of ocean, private pool and hot tub and 7 spacious bedrooms and baths. Kitchen is well stocked and they added a covered bar/grill area.

Great stay

Beautiful location, great amenities. We opted for the pool and hot tub to be heated, which seems like a no brainer. Close to airport. Pool level shower/bathroom was very convenient. One couch imploded while we were there, maintenance couldn't repair and owner is going to replace with new sofa soon.

Location perfect view spectacular. Furniting good except for pullout sleeper and several bed mattresses should be replaced. One kitchen cabinet broken and one stove burner broken. Outside stairs painted brown are treacherous

Nice location for our family get away

This home was well laid out for our group of 14. Everyone really appreciated having their own bathroom with each room. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out when needed and come together for group activities. The listing indicates one of all household items (i.e. trash bags, dishwasher pods, etc) which was a pain point. Also, no plastic plates or cups to use by the pool. Overall, would recommend.

Luxury house

The location and property are great. The only real question I had was for additional charges for the hot tub and pool. I did not have to pay this, but I have never seen a place that had additional charges for these items except in off season rentals. Maybe they need to reword or explain this.

Spacious home in great location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great vacation with the kids and grandkids. The house was very spacious and clean. Everything worked, pool heat, appliances, hot tub, etc. The location was great. As the beach is restricted to residents of Long Bay Estates, it wasn’t crowded which was nice. If we go again, we would definitely look to rent it again.

Great beach location

The pool and spa heaters worked great! More than enough room for our family of 11. Only suggestion is to have the outdoor areas hosed down to remove the coating of pollen. Maintenance was unable to get the Lights under cabana to operate. Some of the upstairs beds squeaked. These are all minor things. Overall the home was perfect!
