Highview Retreat - Huge holiday house - Best value in town!

Huge holiday home! 2 lounges, 2 kitchen- dining areas, 7 Bedrooms, 6.5 Bathrooms

Highview Retreat is a large, modern, well-appointed apartment style holiday home with million dollar views over Lake Wakatipu to the Remarkable mountain range.

Perfect for celebrations with family and friends, like an anniversary or special birthday with lots of room for everyone, and a gorgeous backdrop for photographs. Relax in our 6 person spa overlooking the lake and mountains after a day out hiking, skiing, biking or shopping!

There is an open fire in the main living area and television with Freeview, DVD player, and Chromecast. This living room has floor to ceiling windows and a view over the pond and creek beside the house as well as views over the lake and toward the Remarkable Mountains. There is access to the balcony, which has a BBQ, and an outdoor table and chairs. The sun pours into the kitchen-dining and the living area in the morning. The balcony is a fabulous sunny spot for breakfast. There is second living area on a lower level which also has Freeview TV with Chromecast, and an electric fire. There are two fully fitted kitchen-dining areas with large dining tables. (perfect for two families holidaying together).

There are 5 king bedrooms with ensuites. A queen room has an adjoining bathroom, and a twin bedroom shares an adjacent toilet. Two of the king rooms also have a bath set into the window with a stunning view over the lake.

The bedrooms enjoy the spectacular views over the lake to the Remarkables. Your morning cuppa in bed will never be the same without that view! Watch the planes on their approach into the airport. They are almost at eye-level!

Enjoy quality linens, and just tidy the house on check out - no need to clean!

Highview in Queenstown

Our 3 day stay in Queenstown was excellent. Nine adults and six children, 6 years to 5 months all well accommodated in Highview. Matt and Haliuna were great hosts.

The stay was fantastic, the accommodation was spot on and the location was great. The only negative was three of the beds had broken slates which we had to fix as you could not sleep on these beds.

Family reunion

We stayed at Highview Retreat for a family reunion - my 3 sons and their children, 12 of us in total, from New Zealand, the UK and the USA. The house was ideal for us all, and we had a great time. Fantastic views over the lake. Highly recommended.

Perfect for families coming together for a short or long stay.

This was a perfect house for our family to have a short stay in. We wish we had of come here earlier to enjoy all of what the house had to offer. The size of the house was great as this accommodated my family and the newly weds that were holidaying with us, and we all had private quarters. I would absolutely stay here again....thank you :)

Great Holiday Stay

Great property with great views. Good communication and action by owners. Property ideally suited for a big family or group. Highly recommended property for a great stay in Queenstown. Close enough for walk into Queenstown or shopping at Frankton. Great fishing at Lake within 15 min walk from property. Thanks for having us.

Amazing Views

The views were amazing! Worth every dollar. House was excellent for what we needed. Communication with the owners was great. Only small negative was the gardens were overgrown & outside needs a little love but overall a great place to stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing!!

Such a beautiful house! We stayed at Highview with our large family and it was truly stunning. Great location, close to the city. The house is huge and very clean, just perfect for us! We had 9 adults and 4 children so the 4 x Seperate lounge and dining areas were so convenient, the bedrooms with amazing views. We would love to stay again! Thank you for having us.

Weekend away

Accomodation was great, so big and spacious. Superb views of QT and had everything we needed. Only issues was the communication leading up to the trip away,I reached out multiple times on multiple platforms and had no reply to my question about changing the booking number. However, the accommodation was amazing and I would book this home again.

Amazing Location, Views and Layout

The property was amazing for our needs, with multiple families able to have their own living space, bathrooms and views from most of the bedrooms meant a harmonious stay. The kitchen was well equipped, and the place was presented in a tidy manner. The beds could use a replacement is the only thing that could improve the experience. Otherwise - thank you for an amazing property to enjoy our holiday.

Pretty as a picture

Stunning views over the lake and a warm and crackling fireplace make this the perfect place to relax with family or friends after a long day. The hot tub helps to sooth aching muscles after a day on the slopes. Plenty of space for everyone to be alone or come together. Quick ride or leisurely stroll into town. Had a lovely week!

Family reunion

This overall was an awesome house for our group of 14. Plenty of space to spread out. Bedrooms are big and very comfy. We thoroughly enjoyed Queenstown and all it has to offer. Went our separate ways during the day to experience fun tijes and got together over meals at night. Being able to cook essily kept prices down a lityle. We only used one kitchen to save on cleaning. Would recommend again.

Highview - a true retreat place with views and space

We had an awesome stay during the New Year at this property! Wonderful views of the lake in every room that make you just stand still and look out everytimE. All of the rooms had generous space for everyone and the lounge space was very cozy and bright due to the large windows and sliding doors. Kitchen and dining area had all the basics to allow you to cook home made meals. And that hot pool with a deck, it was a perfect hangout spot. Located up the hill by the main road, it was just a short drive into the town centre or perfect for those afternoon walks with the kids. This place is highly recommended for groups with kids or even couples traveling as a group but still want to have the privacy due to its well planned layout. Will definitely try to book this place on our next trip to Queenstown.

Good, large house in Queenstown

House was spacious and had lovely views. Was a little surprised to see a lot of construction on neighbouring properties (with builders visible out most windows during the day times), but I guess that's pretty normal for Queenstown. Interior was clean and well laid out for a large group or for families. A few small negatives which didn't drastically affect us, but to be aware of - garden could do with a tidy up, vacuum cleaners didn't really work and were gunked full of stuff from previous guests, one of the ovens didn't work (hosts had forgotten to tell us) and we couldn't figure out how to make the bedroom heaters go (might be good to have instructions for this in the bedrooms). Overall a good property.

Great Sized Property in Excellent Location

Property was located in close vicinity to QT central for ease of access. It was a large house perfectly suited for a big group and had fantastic views across the lake and beyond.

QT Holiday

Very Spacious and it suited us well with our 3 combined families. Covenient for Town and other touring activities. We did take a while to figure out how to work the heaters but eventually figured it out. Absolutely beautiful views, and we even had snow falling outside the windows.

Celebrating a 30th with friends

To say we loved staying here is an understatement. Amazing views, everything you could possibly need, so much space, and great communication with property managers. We were a group of 7 couples and we never once felt like it was crowded. All the guests were impressed with their rooms, bathrooms and the amenities. Well equipped and furnished property 10/10 all round Would reccomend 100%

Exquisite Accommodation with Remarkable Views

Highview Retreat is an exceptional place to stay in Queenstown and offers the highest standard of cleanliness and comfort possible. Built to capture the stunning views, this spacious accommodation is totally relaxing, superbly appointed and tastefully decorated to ensure guests a memorable experience . We will stay longer next time as it is perfectly located for quick drive to CBD and Queenstown International Airport and all the amazing attractions on offer. Our family loved it and we can recommend it as a quality destination with everything needed supplied in a practical and helpful way. Top class!

Stunning views, peaceful setting, plenty of space for everyone to relax

Loved our stay here, was overwhelmed with the stunning views as soon as we walked in. Being able to see the mountains from the comfort of our beds in the morning was a real luxury. Plenty of space for all, and it was so great to have access to so many bathrooms - one for everyone. Enjoyed being able to have a spa in the evenings, overlooking the lake and admiring the pretty lights and the stars. Location was awesome, private and peaceful, yet close to the main attractions. Would love to be able to come again! Thanks!
