Enjoy all the upgrades of this comfortably designed and decorated, detached home just minutes away from town and the lifts and walking distance to the village. This 4 bedroom/loft with den, 5 bathroom home is located right on the golf course and will sleep 11. This home offers a state of the art kitchen and the living room featuring a flat screen TV and comfy sectional and chairs. The master bedroom has a king with a fireplace, flat screen, and private bath. The second bedroom has a queen bed, flat screen TV and a private bath. The third bedroom has a queen bed, flat screen TV and a private bath. The fourth bedroom has a bunk bed with a full on the bottom and twin on the top, flat screen TV and a private bath. The loft has a queen sofa sleeper and Foosball table! There is an additional den with a comfy couch and flat screen TV perfect for a kids hang out! The unit also offers a washer/dryer, WiFi Internet Access, two car garage (252" long 114" wide and 88" tall ), and private BBQ. This unit is not pet friendly. All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. Guests will be provided two parking passes. If more parking is required than what is allotted, feel free to call our office for alternative options. Our calendar is updated in real time. We stay at this house every year and absolutely love it. The kitchen has everything we need and a big dining table so after a day of skiing we all have dinner together. It’s an easy walk to the Village Gondola so everyone is able to easily access the slopes.

Great Family Stay In Mammoth!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great Stay in Mammoth for our annual Fishing Trip. Place was large enough to fit my adult kids and grandkids. Each downstairs bedroom had their own bathroom. The kitchen has two sinks and plenty of room to prepare dinner. The large windows in the living room reminded us how beautiful Mammoth is.

Excellent Place

Great Space in a Great Location

Stonegate 5 provides ample space for large groups in a central, convenient location. The property provided an excellent setting for our family to enjoy Mammoth Lakes. We highly recommend this property.

Wonderful stay for a big group

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is huge and can easily accommodate a big group of families and friends. The house was clean, furnitures were in good conditions. Two car garage and five full bathrooms is just convenient. Decks upstairs and downstairs for fresh air. Right next to the golf course and very close to the Village. Only downside is that if you like to cook in the house, all of the non-stick pans have scratched surfaces, the only stainless steel ones are sauce pans.

Third year in a row staying in a stonegate property. Perfect location for snowboarding and wonderful place for kids. Everything was perfect! We look forward to coming back next year.

It was ok

The listing of VRBO stated that it was a five bedroom home. It actually is a four bedroom home with a loft a bedroom has a closet in it this was extremely disappointing. The barbecue was so full of grease when we put our hamburgers on it. It caught fire the drain in the downstairs bathroom shower does not drain. Takes about 30 minutes for the water to drain. There was no air conditioning in the house.

The house is at a perfect location making it close to stores and restaurants. Mammoth reservation staff was also delightful. They were very helpful with anything we needed or questions we had. This was the second time we booked with mammoth reservation and both times have been great.

Mammoth cabin home

This home was great size way and had a of sleeping room as was mentioned in the listing. I just didn’t like that the kitchen was not very well stocked with mixing bowls and other common things that would be needed. The house was also on the older side. The location was amazing literally walking distance to the Village once you get out From the house onto the Main Street it was down the road.

There is no 5th bedroom, inconvenience?! The rental needs a lot of repairs/maintenance, rug in the living room area is filthy, not pleasant if walking barefoot, propane tank empty, one of the bedrooms had no remote, television cable box in the living room was not working, very difficult when using the streaming app. Overall great location; however, management company needs to step it up!

I was very disappointed at that and also the pictures appear to look the house twice as big than what it is. Won’t stay there again

Mammoth vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall good experience that could of been better. Very nice unit that just seemed a little tired & neglected. Nice Foosball table, but no Foosball, no dishwasher soap, no laundry soap. Nice upper & lower floor decks but deck tables & chairs shown in unit pictures were non existent. TV's were streaming only. To our surprise, loud banging construction started at 6:55am Friday morning on ours & the surrounding units, & continued until about 11am. Last thing, bring TP, the sand paper supplied is nasty.

Nice but needs work

PROS: Large! beautiful views and sleeps a lot of people. Garage is nice! CONS: Is an obvious rental. Place is beautiful but needs TLC. Everything is loose (shower door, cabinet handles, faucets etc). Bathroom sink drains were backed up and did not drain well. Again, the place needs to be cared for. Lacks character due to lack of pictures etc. TV in main area is very small and really needs to be larger for the space. Coffee pot and warmer were mismatched and it did not stay heated after brewed. Kitchen pots, pans, etc really need to be gone through. Overpriced based on the above.

Multi Gen Fam Vacation

The house fits a large group comfortably. Dishtowels are listed on the things supplied with the house. They only supply 2 kitchen towels, so bring your own. If you want to sit out on either deck, bring some chairs. If you do your own cooking/baking. They only supply 1 tiny oven mitt. (Who can remove a casserole dish from the oven with 1 mitt?) Bring your own. If you don't like to sleep on flat pillows, bring your own. There are no casserole dishes supplied. The pots, pans and cooking utensils leave a lot to be desired. We didn't use the oven the 1st day, so we didn't think to check it. The next night we fixed some casserole dishes and when we went to put them in the oven, we discovered the oven racks were broken! The kitchen looks good, but I don't think anyone really ever does any serious cooking/baking in there. In spite of the kitchen issues we all had a good time.

Great House - Size and Location; But Disappointing

Stonegate is an amazing, luxurious community and the homes are large and spacious. I have personally stayed at this house on 3 separate occasions. However, the house was very rundown. It was very dusty throughout (you could see cobwebs in the window, dust in the corners). There were walls that were stained or marked up and exterior window that was shattered, stuff you wouldn't expect out of a luxury rental. The TV's are very old and small and should be upgraded. In addition, when we arrived, we could only enter through the garage. The front door area was blocked with snow 3-4 feet high (I know Mammoth has had record snow this year, but it hasn't snowed for over 10 days). The balcony was also covered with snow and unusable. Fortunately, our group dug out all of the snow so that we could enjoy the beautiful weather. I expected more. I realize this is a rental, but there are other options available for roughly the same price. I hope you can use this review to make the next renter's experience better!

Mammoth is a beautiful area .. we loved it.

As mentioned when we made our reservation, our family traveled to the area for a family wedding. Our daughter, husband, and 9 month old crawling grandson joined us. The floors at this place were DISGUSTING, dirty and down right gross. So, I spent 3 hours of my paid vacation at this place, cleaning the floors fully and completely so I could hopefully relax and enjoy my stay without worrying about what was on the floor. It was very apparent that the cleaning people mop and sweep these beautiful floors from the centers and walkways, all debris is found in the corners and edges. We found pieces of glass, earrings and loose crews. Look behind every door, you will find debris. It was very apparent that the living room rug under the coffee table has never been vacuumed. We simply rolled it up for our stay. Hopefully someone will vacuum for the next guests. upon arriving and sitting on the couch, we found fresh finger nail clippings. Someone had clipped their fingernails and had left us their treasures. So yes, this too had to be disinfected with the wipes we brought. As ,mentioned, we were here for a wedding !!! There is NO IRON & BOARD at this place. We had to jump in the car and search the town for an iron and ironing board. Crazy that you spend this kind of money for a place like this and NOT have an iron. Loved the location ......

Nice but not Luxury

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home has so much potential. Very spacious. Great bone structure. The kitchen and great room are wonderful for large groups to hang out in. However, the home needs a lot of love and upgrades to be called a luxury home. The house is in desperate need if a deep cleaning. We dropped some thing under the sofa when we went to retrieve it, there was so much dirt and dust. It was quite disgusting. Even the small coffee table in the great room has not been moved for cleaning so much dust and dirt behind and under the beds. The vent above the stove is filled with grease, the sofa is very old and saggy. It is difficult to get comfortable sitting on it. The towels and linens were very scratchy and not soft at all the master bathroom had one sink with a huge hole in it and could not be used. The front of the house is on a busy street. The master bedroom is in the front of the house, and there’s quite a bit of noise when sleeping with the window open. Unfortunately, we had no choice but to sleep with the window open since it was broken and could not be closed, the balcony is amazing, but they provide no furniture to sit outside so one can simply stand to enjoy the view. The kitchen was well stocked overall, but no wine, bottle opener, and no wine glasses. Again for a cabin I might expect that, but not for a luxury home. For the amount of money they charge in for this home, I would have expected much more. I am a frequent VRBO and Airbnb traveler, and have stayed in many Mammoth rentals. This is not on the top of my list with a few upgrades and some deep cleaning, however, this house will be a total gem!!!
