Graybear Getaway - Family Friendly 4 Bd Home on Sierra Star Golf Course!

Mammoth's Graybear Getaway is contemporary and comfortable for a getaway with family and friends. This immaculate and clean 2,300 sf 4-bedroom home overlooks the Sierra Star Golf Course and is less than half mile from the Village. Located in one of Mammoth's newest residential neighborhoods, this home features: a gourmet kitchen and dining for 10, high speed Wifi, 65-inch SmartTV, outdoor BBQ grill and hot tub, expansive balcony deck with views, and the ultimate bunk room! It is located in a quiet and tree-lined residential neighborhood and is centrally located to everything in town.

If this sounds like a home for you, please note we unfortunately don’t accept pets and also have guidelines for quiet hours.

To ensure our home is a good fit for you, please take a look at our house rules and cancellation policy. We encourage you to submit an inquiry on your interested dates, information on your group, and any questions before reserving to avoid cancellation fees.

Our favorite place in Mammoth

We love staying at this location because it’s always spacious, clean, quiet, and has everything we need and more. The property owners are always available quickly as needed if we ever have questions. The location is central and it’s easy to access any location. We’ve started visiting beyond winters and go during spring and summer also. Thanks againfor everything!

Great Mammoth trip

This 2 floor house in Gray Bear community was not missing a thing. We enjoyed the BBQ, jacuzzi, stocked kitchen, spacious living space, clean bathrooms and 2 car garage. It's a 5-6 minute drive to canyon express or to the Vons. The host Marisa, was very accommodating and available for questions throughout our stay. Highly recommended.

Amazing Place & Great Service!

This place is amazing and Marisa is super responsive and will take care of you. Will definitely book and stay here again. There is a reason why this place has the great ratings that it already has. All of the reviews are spot on and accurate. Place is extremely well priced for what you get as well.

Best Time Ever

This was the first time my kids had ever seen the snow and it was every bit as magical as we had hoped. We made snow men and snowballs and took the sleds right outside behind the house. The location was close to everything, the beds were comfortable, the house was clean, and it was quiet and peaceful. When it was too windy to ski we cooked inside and played games and watched the snow fall. Absolute heaven!

Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood

This home is exactly as described by the owner. Nice and roomy with everything we needed in a quiet neighborhood. The hot tub was terrific, well furnished with comfortable beds. We'll be back.

Our Favorite Place!

Clean and convenient location in Graybear community. We like looking out at the golf course from the jacuzzi after skiing. The spring conditions have been great!

Great stay!

Home is exactly as described/pictured. Perfect for our spring break getaway - close to the Village, lodges, and grocery. Owner was very responsive and great to communicate with during our stay. The kids absolutely LOVED the bunk room. Snow play in the backyard was a huge plus as well! Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

On the golf course

I have been coming to Mammoth for 35 years with my kids and this place is one of the nicer ones. Very clean!! I highly recommend this place.

Great house in a great location

Clean property with all the amenities. Great location that is central to skiing, shopping, and the village. So much snow and appreciate the driveway plowing and safety of the house during this time. Kid friendly with plenty of space. Recommend it highly!

Wonderful vacation home

Loved this home. Well stocked, open design, great for large family. We sadly didn't get to try out the BBQ or jacuzzi due to them being buried in the snow (mother nature) but everything else was lovely. Owner was very responsive and we had a fabulous time there. Highly recommend.

This property was fantastic. It was beautiful, impeccably clean, and comfortably slept 4 adults and 5 kids (ages 9-14). The kids had their own space in the bunk room, which was a win. The kitchen was well equipped and allowed us to cook dinner for the gang. As for location, we were less than a mile from Eagle lodge. Could have practically walked there. Marisa was also an incredible host. She made communication easy, was gracious and flexible. All in all, we had an awesome stay. I highly recommend!

Excellent Location! Beautiful property! Great for families!

Our friends and families had such a great time at this property. Its centrally located in Mammoth and a short 5 min drive to Eagle Lodge or Canyon Lodge, which is great for drop-offs. The property had everything we needed, and Marisa was easy and great to work with.

Amazing house & host!

We had a wonderful vacation at this beautiful Mammoth home with our family of 10. The house was in a terrific location (easy 3 minute drive to the Village), gorgeous views of the golf course, that were covered in snow and the home had all the necessary amenities you could possibly need. The hot tub was was an additional bonus! The host was fantastic and communicated with us every step of the way. We will definitely be booking this home again! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Great stay in Mammoth Lakes

We really enjoyed our stay at Stonegate the week between Christmas and New Years. It was conveniently located near Mammoth Village and offered a quiet neighborhood feel. The driveway was plowed while we were there and everything was furnished for the perfect stay. We slept comfortably and the jacuzzi was a welcomed amenity after a day of skiing/snowboarding. The owner’s communications were clear and timely. We would definitely enjoy another stay at this property.

My husband and I started coming to Mammoth for the holidays before we had kids and now we have two boys on the ski team and are nine seasons in as weekend warriors from Orange County, CA. We have found Mammoth to offer an endless variety of activities year round and a great community of people from all around the world who all share a passion for the outdoors. We chose our home because the Graybear community is one of the newest residential developments in Mammoth and we wanted an opportunity to create a contemporary mountain home. We selected our specific location, adjacent to the golf course, for its views as well as its proximity to the Village which features an array of dining, shopping and entertainment. On heavy snow days, we also love how easy it is to get in and out of our home given its flat vs. hilly area. In the summer, we love how you can camp just a few miles away at the Lake Basin and then come back to a nice retreat. Our home is located in a quiet residential neighborhood in a central and very convenient Mammoth location.
