This pet-friendly and recently upgraded 1 bedroom + loft, 2 bathrooms presents a comfortable living room with a flat screen TV, DVD, CD player, wood fireplace, and WiFi. Centrally located in Conness building with city bus stop out front. Large master bedroom has a king, flat screen TV, DVD and private dressing sink. Loft has a queen plus daybed, TV and adjacent bathroom. Unit features a fully equipped kitchen with counter seating for four, plus dining area seating six. Easy access to Jacuzzi, sauna and tennis court, plus other Summit amenities (work-out room, pools, etc.), and underground garage parking (garage clearance 7' 0"). This unit is pet friendly. All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. This unit comes with one underground assigned parking spot with a second on a first come, first serve basis within the complex. Guests will be provided two parking passes. If more parking is required than what is allotted, feel free to call our office for alternative options. Our calendar is updated in real time. Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo is fine. Parking is a bit tight and the stairs are a bit much, as there is no elevator. So hauling luggage to the upper floor was rough. For some reason, the heater was on, leaving the unit sweltering when we arrived. I looked for a thermostat, and found that there is no a/c. I managed to find the manual control for the heater, turned it off, and opened the windows, which helped to cool things down. The management brought two fans on request. One more complaint, the mattresses in the loft were awful. Otherwise we had a pleasant stay. The bathrooms and kitchen were fine.

Family Trip - Condo Issues

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had several issues with the condo, the main one being that the refrigerator did not work, just the freezer. We contacted Mammoth Reservations, and waited over half of the day for a repair person to arrive, then decide to call back and when a time was still not established, we cancelled - we planned on going to the mountain and didn't want to miss more of our vacation time! In addition, there was no dry wood for burning so we had to rely on space heaters. There was also dog poo that kept arising from the balcony...I managed to get rid of the first batch but as warm days persisted more piles emerged! When we checked out I relayed our issues to the reservations front desk attendant, who thankfully said they would be sure to get them resolved. When I asked about compensation, I was told to email Mammoth Reservations, which I did, but never received a response. We have used Mammoth Reservations several times in the past and have never had problems but I was left feeling rooked with this one.

Mold and dust

The bathroom walls and ceiling had horrible mold and huge dust bunnys. The cleaning lady should be alerted to the filth. I had an instant asthma attack upon walking into the condo. We opened all the doors and turned in the fans. The carpets need cleaning. The water damage is very visible.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The check-in process was smooth. Upon arrival at the complex, it had a funny smell. The unit itself was not bad, but it wasn’t the cleanest. You could see the dust and dirt on the fans and ceiling. On the second day of our stay, we realized the refrigerator did not work. We had to eat out for all our meals and throw out the groceries we had purchased as they went bad. Luckily the freezer worked so we could at least have ICE with our water. Sadly, the complex was working on both the pools so we were not able to enjoy them. The bottom line is I will not be staying at this complex in the future.

Great place near Eagle Lodge

This was a great condo for four people, Bruce big tv’s in each room and very cozy. My only suggestions are that the owner should invest in a couple new frying pans (the ones there were badly scraped and need to be replaced) and there’s mold in the upper bathroom so you might want to look more closely at that. Other than that we loved it!

VRBO as described.

We booked this VRBO in kind of a rush, and when I finally sat down and read the comments I was terrified. When we got there we were much releaved. Yes, this property is old. It is in dire need of a renovation. With that being said it was fine. Everything was neat and clean. Check in process was a bit of a pain, definitely need to get some sort of smart lock instead of making people go to an office to pick up a key. Parking was a great plus as there was a huge snowstorm. But don’t plan on getting a guest spot. All in all it was a good stay.

If there was an option I would give it “no star” rating

We booked this condo for 4 nights for party of 6, including the sofa bed in the living room to accommodate for 6 people for ski trip.The host was non responsive and the condo is very out dated and not in a livable condition. Furnitures, kitchen equipment, bathrooms all are very old and dirty. Seemed like this place hasn’t been cleaned for years. 1 The living room ceiling was leaking when we arrived. We contacted the host/office and no one ever responded. Made us wonder if it’s a known issue and they don’t bother. The water was running down over the TV, the area in front of it and the end of the sofa bed when pulled out as bed. We couldn’t not use the TV or the speaker as they were all wet, we even covered them with towel. The edge of the sofa bed was getting wet when pulled out and the sound of water drops all night was very annoying and the fact that is it even safe to sleep under that ceiling . 2 Both bathrooms had mold, but the upstair bathroom specially was covered all in mold. It was also missing a showerhead so the water would splash all over and we couldn’t use that bathroom which was very inconvenient to have only 1 bathroom for 6 people. 3 The condo and all furnitures were very dirty, there was a very big spider web on the corner of the second floor ceiling and another big web hanging over sofa bed in the living room. The sofa and carpet had visible stains all over. 4 There were no linens for the sofa bed. We only found blankets in closet which were very thin ( better for summer) and very dirty. They haven’t been washed for years. 5 The stove was so outdated, the knobs weren’t working properly which made it hard to control the heat and we ended up burning our food.

This is a tired unit in need of updating.

Reviewer Comments: Summit is our favorite condo complex at Mammoth due to its location close to Eagle Lodge, not however because the units are the most modern or luxurious. They’re typically not, although more and more of them are getting renovated. We usually rent a one-bedroom unit closer to Eagle, but this time we needed more space, so we rented #277 in the Conness building. This is a spacious 2nd Floor unit with nice filtered wooded views from the balcony. It has all the basic items needed in the kitchen, as well as some spices, oils and such, some however looking as old as the hills. The wall heaters are ancient and in poor repair. They don't work off of wall thermostats. One needs to turn each one on and off individually. There were plenty of supplemental heaters in this unit, which we found ourselves needing, especially the first night of our stay which was very cold. Many of the Summit units we’ve rented through MR are dated looking and poorly decorated. This unit was only a bit worse. The early 1980’s New Mexico theme in the Master Bedroom was particularly dated and depressing. The king bed was comfortable. The beds in the loft however were unacceptably old and uncomfortable. Our gues was particularly unhappy. The unit has high ceilings, which is architecturally attractive but with cobwebs I’m guessing out of reach by the standard cleaning crew. The upstairs bathroom had significant mold on the walls. The WiFI was recently upgraded, so recently in fact that MR’s paperwork with the password was inaccurate. The WIFI worked very well, much better than some of the past units we’ve rented. The TV accessed cable stations, but was old and didn’t have Internet or Mirroring (no Netflix, etc.) The unit came with one Duraflame log. MR kindly brought us more. In conclusion, this unit really needs updating. It won’t be high on our list for a return visit.

Cozy, pet-friendly stay

We were grateful Mammoth Reservations welcomed our pets for a reasonable price per day. It's in a nice residential area and the neighbors weren't difficult or nosey. It's located conveniently close to the town center. It was so nice to have a second parking space in the lot (lettered or blank) which facilitated easy loading and unloading. We took lots of dog walks in the neighborhood, which is super dog-friendly as there were lots of residents taking their pets for walks in the am and pm. It's quiet and cozy. The streets aren't busy and it was such a nice get-away without being too far from grocery stores or eateries. We truly enjoyed our stay.The check-in and check-out process was so convenient and seamless.

Good location

The highlight of the property is being walking distance to Eagle, Being pet friendly it was great to be able to go grab lunch and check on my dog. The place was a older but still in fine condition, it could have nicer toiletries and other adders.

Good location and decent condo

Stayed with our 3 little kids who enjoyed sleeping in the loft together. Condo has everything we needed, nothing too fancy but worked for us. Would have been nice to have more than one paper towel roll for our longer stay.

Labor day weekend Mammoth stay

I had submitted reservations for 5 people (which was what the condo said it was set up for)and there were only 4 bath towels available. Inside garage was very dark even during the day, did not feel confortable being there by yourself. Outside condo was also dark at night no lights were on by tennis courts, did not feel safe walking your pets around property.Condo was okay, upstairs room, bedding pillows were flat, not enough extra pillows available. Kitchen was lacking oven mitts to take hot food out of oven and no trivets to put hot pans on table. Given only one kitchen towel, really not enough. Serving and prepping bowls lacking in kitchen. Downstairs bathroom rugs, even being dark blue color you could tell they were dirty.

The Mammoth reservation service didn’t have our room ready until 5:00 pm. The door to the facility was locked and as it was after 5, we couldn’t call them to ask about how to get in. We finally got a neighbor to let us in. Other than that initial frustration the week went smoothly

Nice property, good location, no views.

This property is well located. There is underground parking. Condo was on the second floor, but 3 flights up from elevator. The living space is comfortable, but the kitchen and bathroom facilities are old. Faucets are very old. If you plan on cooking, the kitchen amenities are almost adequate. One bedroom is in the loft, with a large and small bed and separate bathroom. The other bedroom is on the main floor, also with a separate bathroom. The unit is quiet. The biggest advantage to this particular condominium is they allow pets.

Additionally, I would guess this unit hasn’t been updated since it was purchased. It has an old electric stove, outdated carpet, homemade shelves made from 2 by 4s. Sink in bathroom missing screen. We picked this unit because it accepts dogs, although we didn’t bring ours. 2 of the 3 jacuzzis were out of order.

Good place to get away

Disappointing

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Check in is after 5pm "due to covid" which is fine, if staff are available to answer any issues. Our issue was the address was in our GPS, but the carpark was on a different road to the given address, so we couldn't find the entrance. Since it was after 5pm, I had to call the after hours hotline and wait for a call back, which took around 10 mins. Not ideal when you have driven 5 hours and you are sitting in a snow storm with kids in the car. This clearly happens all the time as the after hours staff was well versed in leading us to our garage.The heating in the place is terrible, we turned on all the heaters and it was still freezing, they do turn on, they are just old and not adequate. We found a vintage radiant heater in the cupboard, it worked about as well as expected. Management leave you three fake logs and two fire starters, but no kindling of any type. So the fireplace was useless as well.The place was still freezing in the morning, I planned on calling management to send over some heaters, but we were lucky as our friends offered us a room in their place, so we packed up our gear and moved over to their apartment.On the plus side the place has a good position and it was clean. When I called this morning to let them know about the issues over the weekend, the response was, "you were given the instructions a month before". Thanks.As someone who spends a lot of time in mammoth, there are way better options, without the attitude of the lady I spoke to this morning.

#277 Conness - Comfortable & pleasant

#277 Conness, while old and a bit dated, was perfect for our 3 night stay. It is well maintained: Comfortable beds, kitchen amenities were more than adequate for fixing breakfasts and dinners, plenty of hot water and water pressure for a good shower at the end of the day. The unit is pet friendly, but you wouldn't know it as there were no tell tales of prior animal guests. You can be sure we'll be back. Thx!
