We live at the Jersey shore and have never had a lake vacation until now. There were 15 of us spanning five generations. Adding the boat was a winner. The kids loved fishing, tubing, and the game room. Adults went hiking and tubing, too. Our local host, Debbie, was a pleasure to work with, even sending us clothes that were left behind. The kitchen had everything that all six cooks needed. The only other comment is that, while the property can accommodate 20, there were no single beds available, which we could have used. But it accommodated all 15 of us comfortably. It was a great celebration of an 80th birthday party.

We had an awesome week of great weather. There was more than enough room for our family of 13 adults and 2 babies and every house was fully equipped in the kitchens. The lake is so clean and beautiful and the set up of the docks is perfect. The sunsets were amazing. Deb was so helpful and very quick to respond to us when we needed something. Would return next year.

Spectacular stay here at this Lake George VRBO property. The accommodation suited our needs as we are an extended family of 19 from various parts of the country. We sought a location with a minimum of 8 bedrooms on the water and this property did not disappoint. In addition, we rented the boat for the week.A few minor issues with the premises, hopefully the owners will correct, mainly the lighting and handrails leading to/from each house are not very well maintained. More lighting on the upper stairs to the cottage would help as well. A balcony was off limits and has been for quite a while. Sad they aren’t keeping up on maintenance as this is a wonderful place to stay. One grill was inoperable, but the other grill was excellent. The foosball game was inoperable. Bath sink faucet in the cottage was faulty as well as kitchen cabinet door hinges in both the main house and cottage. I bought these issues to the attention of the property manager Deb. Hopefully the owners will be proactive. Know the boat is also owned by one of the house owners (not Pilot Knob Marina located on the same street). That aspect was somewhat confusing when we asked that the boat canopy be serviced, we thought we were renting the boat from that marina.The docks were actively utilized by our family for fishing. Much to our delight, we caught over 140 fish of several varieties. Sunsets were amazing. Beds were very comfortable. Ample supplies were furnished.I loved this VRBO!S.M.

What Dreams Are Made Of...

From the exhilarating moment we arrived to the sad Saturday morning our stay was over, this property provided my wife, my three sons, my daughters-in-law, my ten grandchildren and me, arguably the best vacation each one of us has ever experienced.

Wonderful location for a get together

Reunion with old friends. Perfect for us all to have our own bedrooms. Many choices for hang spots, fun games and great huge deck. Owners and host are delightful to communicate with. We will plan to come back!

Stayed here with my family over the Columbus Day Holiday weekend for a family reunion. The three units on the property were exactly as described. Everything was exceptional. It was clean, comfortable and carefully taken care of. The checkin and check out processes were simple. Communication with the property manager was easy via text with questions—there was only one. Highly recommend this property for a large gathering. There is plenty of gathering space and also room for a little private time. Views are spectacular. Had trouble prying the group away from the deck to do things.

Lake George 2024

We love this home. Lots of space for a large family. We’ve been coming back for a few years now and plan to again next summer. My lower rating was due to cleanliness. Cabinets in kitchen were not clean on inside especially spices. Floors need mopping as our feet were pretty dirty. Front bedroom main house had mold smell. This is not normal for this home as in years past everything has been cleaned. This year not so much. But overall this is something that is fixable and like I said we’ll be back next year.

Lovely

The house is amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed our week there. The views are great and we spent a great deal of time on the screen porch. We appreciated all of the seating out there. It was nice having the cottage and boat house for additional guests. The parking and steps were a little challenging with 2 guests in their mid 80s. The house was well stocked with everything we could ask for. The only thing missing was an ice maker.

Ideal location!

We had a family reunion of 18 people, and it was perfect! Plenty of room for everyone, especially for the teenagers. Very comfortable. Loved having the boat for the week as we explored the lake. Highly recommend this listing for any large groups.

Great family place!

We had a lovely time on the lake. Weather was perfect, water was clean and the view was picturesque. Loved the big porch over the boat dock. Wish we had had more time to rent a boat to really enjoy the lake…maybe next time! There are a lot of stairs-would not recommend for anyone with knee problems or the like.

Great area and property

The house is excellent! great layout for groups that do not need to be together all the time. The main house has an open layout so your group can gather, but many separate areas to find quiet time. The outdoor furniture in particular stood out to our group. It is all the same, and very high-end.

Wonderful stay!

We had a fantastic time and couldn’t have asked for a better property for a large group on Lake George! The boat rental at the property was seem less and allowed us to explore the lake every day, the location of the property was perfect, and the kitchen (especially the main house) were well stocked for cooking for a larger group. Everyone in our family had a wonderful time!

Excellent family vacation spot

We stayed with a group of 16 grandparents, parents and grandchildren. We had a great time, even though there we a few days of rainy weather. The location is great and there are plenty of sleeping and rooming options for people to select. Plenty of places to park the cars with some close to the water and dock. The stairs are safe, but plenty of them. Proper planning for being on the side of a hill makes it a non-issue. Being close to Sandy Bay provides a good place to spend the day, although swimming from the dock in the late afternoon/early evening is a very good option.

Second Year

This was our second year. Had a fabulous time. Debbie was great with any questions. Absolutely loved renting the pontoon boat this year. The weather was a little more overcast and wet during our week but you can still enjoy the covered dock and game room. We plan on returning again next year. The master bedroom needs a regular dresser with drawers though instead of a TV console with just shelves. Very inconvenient for personal belongings to stack on shelves because closet space was lost because of new bathroom. It would also help to have a seat in the shower area.

Best Vacation!!

Had a wonderful time on this family vacation. The house was clean and in a great location! Debby, the property manager, was so helpful with any questions we had. The views were unreal and there was plenty of space for a big family! Would highly recommend and would love to come back.

Great location and spectacular views

We came up for a wedding in Saratoga Springs which was beautiful. Family came from California, Oklahoma, North Carolina, Long Island and friends from Albany and Syracuse. There was plenty of room for all who stayed overnight. Other than food, there was not anything we needed to buy. The house had everything and more. The property manager Debby was very friendly and helpful with anything we needed. The house has many steps so we had to drive old uncle Jack every morning down to the main house and then back up in the evening. Other than that we all left a bit more fit then when we arrived. Everyone who fished caught many and threw them back for the next guests. Enjoyed sitting on the deck taking in the awesome views of the Lake. Brought back many wonderful memories and still sharing pictures and stories. You are very blessed Richard and Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Wonderful Property

Everything about this home is great! Well stocked, beautiful views, and location on the lake is great. Having the boat rental there is a huge plus because of how convenient it is. Owner and property manager were extremely helpful. Lots of stairs/hills but that was well communicated ahead of time.
