Other than the steep driveway and walk down to the dock we had a wonderful time.

Great vacation spot

Nice house with a dock. We enjoyed swimming off the dock and being able to dock a boat. The house was nice. Kitchen was well equipped. The outdoor space was great and we had a view of the lake. We would return.

Perfect for a family of younger people

Property was very well set up for a large family with plenty of everything from chairs to plates and glasses, my wife and I being elderly pretty much stayed on main level where there is easy access from parking and to avoid the stairs. We did not make it to dock because it was just way to steep for us to walk. All in all we enjoyed our stay and loved the view along with a few deer that hung around property.

Spring Break rest

The property was quiet and had pleasant views. It is very close to the grocery store which we visited several times. There were only 4 wash towels for 5 people. The cleaners (owners) shoukd be sure to prepare accordingly. There were plenty of drying towels but we had to purchase wash towels from Wal-Mart.

Private space

2 Adult couples had private bedrooms and bathrooms. Yard area was private and comfortable to spend time with family. Deck floor and deck chairs need some repairs. Overall pleasant stay.

The downstairs bar area is now a kitchenette with a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, kitchen items, and lockable French door exit/entrance to fire pit, BBQ, and lake access. Smart TV in every room. New HVAC, washer, dryer, dishwasher." Thanks for your valuable feedback!

Good for large groups

Cons: arrived and the temp in the house was 87 degrees because the AC was not turned on prior to arrival. AC did not cool off for the first 12 hours, management took a few hours to respond. 2 pull out sofa beds were broken on the bottom corners. There was no hairdryer like it said on the listing. Pros: House was in a great location and was able to accommodate a large group. Has its own boat slip so able to rent a boat. Lots of outdoor seating. Plenty of towels and toiletries provided.

Adequate, but could be better

The layout of the house is accommodating for larger groups (three floors, two living spaces and plenty of bedrooms), however, the place wasn't as clean as I would have expected for what I paid. Lastly, I thought by the pictures this place was on the lake, but you have to walk down a few steep paths to get to the lake. I wouldn't personally swim in this portion of the lake, it is more narrow and seems more likely for snakes. The host was prompt in responses and was accommodating for our pets. It has great potential, just needs a more thorough cleaning crew and maybe a little TLC to get rid of odors leftover from previous guests.

Convenient location and ample space for the 2 couples and 2 single adults that stayed.

My family stayed here over the holidays and included my adult children & son-in-law and my elderly mother. It was a mid-way meeting place for my daughter and new son-in-law. The location was conveniently located near shopping and restaurants. There was ample space to spread out so we didn't feel cramped or on top of each other. The kitchen could benefit from a deep clean and organization. Some of the pots and pans were not in good condition. The biggest issue was the water. Sometimes we would turn the kitchen faucet on and nothing came out. We would have to keep trying it and eventually it would work. Three times the water stopped in the middle of my shower. Again, I had to wait a minute or two and keep trying. We called maintenance and he was responsive. He did say that he planned to make updates to correct the plumbing problem that was likely due to limescale build up common in the area.

Just ok

The owner was great in terms of communication and even gave us an extra hour at checkout but the home could use some TLC. It is at a great location and close to everything but that is about it. The upper level bedroom was always very hot while the one bedroom on the main floor was freezing cold and so was the basement. I could not sit in the basement without a blanket over me because it was that cold. The fireplace on the main floor did not work the entire time of our stay and after 2 attempts to the property manager and the owner it was never fixed. We stayed from Thursday through Monday. The bathroom on the upper level smelled like urine and I even cleaned the toilet and bought air fresheners but I could not get the smell out. I reached out to the owner who responded right away but either way it was a bathroom I avoided like the plague. There is a big TV in the basement we had hoped the kids could use but that didn’t work either. The place is a bit outdated for my taste. We made the best of the situation but of all the places we have vacationed this was our least favorite. The owner did say they were going to work on these issues for future guests.

Amazing Family Vacation

This property comfortably housed our entire family. Very clean, had all the necessities right at our fingertips. There were 15 of us and there is a second fridge downstairs in the bar. Firepit area was a favorite among the kids for nightly s’mores. BBQ provided as well. The dock available made it easy for us to bring our kayaks and canoes and tie them up for daily use. 2nd living room downstairs was awesome for the kids to have a place to play games and watch tv while the adults had the upstairs for card games. Beautiful view of the lake from the upstairs balcony. Close to the stores and activities in the area. Highly recommend, will stay again for our next trip out here!

Great Family Getaway

We had our entire family together under one roof! Amazing summer vacation with easy access to the lake, fishing from the dock, Firepit for s’mores, everything we needed was here for our stay. Highly recommend! We will definitely be returning next summer.
