This is the perfect place to stay to unwind from city life and enjoy summer breaks. Green View is a very private and quiet space.

Local fabulous beaches like Ocean Beach and Kauri Mountain Beach are just a short drive away. There are walking tacks to suit all levels of fitness from the stunning hike of Mount Manaia, Mount Aubrey, Smugglers Cove and the awesome Te Whara Track, and Bream Head - www.breamheadtrust.nz - which offer panoramic views. With private accommodation to come home to after a day hiking, swimming or fishing, Greenview offers the chance for a family to have fun, relax, enjoy and to make memories.


We are approximately a 30-minute drive out of Whangarei City, so you definitely need a car. There is no public transport or Uber and Taxis can be very expensive. It is a lovely coastal drive, however.

There is an airport in Whangarei if you wanted to fly up from Auckland for instance and here you could arrange a hire car.

It is a good idea to buy any groceries you may need in the city or nearby Onerahi. However, there are some shops in the village, supermarket included.

Due to a change in local council bylaws pets are no longer allowed at the property as the house is surrounded by a high-density kiwi area.

The property would also be ideal for a weeklong retreat stay for artists, writers, yoga retreats or similar.
