Chatham, MA September Week

Had a great week. The home, property manager, location and weather (yes weather) were all perfect. Home is beautifully decorated in a very nice private location, convenient to bot Chatham and Harwich. Will rent again, for sure! Thank you, K & J

Great visit

Beautiful home. Cleanest rental I have ever been in. Only issue was the bugs coming in the windows of the bedrooms at night. Maybe the ac units need to be better sealed? Overall we loved it and felt at home there.

Clean and nice amenities

We enjoyed our stay at this property and the property managers, Del Mar, were great at communicating and being responsive. As with most places, the pictures make it look much larger than it actually was. We loved spending time on the deck and around the firepit. The outside of the house is not that well kept and it only had 1 TV (would have been nice to have a second at times) but it was close some great restaurants as well as Cockle Cove beach (though we mostly went to Hardings which is just under 15 min drive) and it was not too far from the rail trail for bike riding and running. The ductless AC in the main room kept things cooler than the outside summer temps, but if you're someone who really values a strong AC then you might have some complaints. The window AC units in each bedroom worked fine.

Too many bugs and spiders! Too much in the woods!

Looked wonderful on listing, but in reality very disappointed in landscape and back yard. Had to have maintenance come and clean out window wells of bugs! Couldn’t open any windows and get fresh air! Bedrooms were sparse and mattresses were very hard. I slept only one night in 7.! Air conditioners in bedrooms were musty and not put in properly. I love Chatham so we will have to find a more suitable house for next summer.

Hi Elizabeth, thank you for being a great guest. I am glad you contacted us to clean the bugs out of the window wells, it has been an extremely buggy summer here on the Cape. I really appreciate your feedback and will make sure to review the mattresses for comfort. We have several different homes in Chatham and look forward to hosting you again next summer. Safe and happy travels, Luke

Perfect!

My family and I had a PERFECT stay at this lovely house in Chatham. Good location (5 minute drive to groceries, wine and an 8 minute drive to the beach). Chatham itself is gorgeous and is perfectly located 1/2 way between Hyannis and P'town. The house itself is full of everything you will need for your stay: fully equipped kitchen with some basics (olive oil, salt pepper, sugar, etc.), Washer/dryer, soft comfortable beds, board games and cards, and a gas grill for cooking. They also had a lovely fire pit that we enjoyed on the cool Cape evenings. I was also impressed that they had nice serveware and wine glasses to make our evenings a little more elegant. We had a fantastic time and cannot wait to stay here next year!
