Located just steps from downtown New Buffalo and only a couple of blocks from Lake Michigan, we welcome you to Lake It To The Limit! What was once a bed and breakfast has now been converted to a colossal single-family rental for your next Michigan getaway. This historic home has been lovingly restored to keep its original charm while also incorporating modern touches, making it the best of both worlds. Three floors of living in this five-bedroom, five full bath home allows plenty of room for your group to relax and enjoy. Have your morning coffee in your beautiful sunroom or roast s'mores under the stars in your outdoor firepit. Lots of light throughout this home.

We spent a long weekend at the house and had a fabulous time. It’s perfectly located, within walking distance to everything (beach, restaurants, shopping) and yet far enough away to be very peaceful. There were 8 of us, 4 couples, and the layout of the house worked well for us. We also loved sitting around the table in the backyard enjoying the great weather. We would stay here again.

Berndt Family Vacation

We loved the layout of the house. It was perfect for our family of 10. And the location was awesome, walking distance to downtown and the beach. Bedrooms 2 and 3 could use ceiling fans. The bathroom in bedroom 1 had stains on the woodwork and curtains. The bathroom in bedroom 2 overlooking the street needs a better curtain to provide privacy from the street. We had to hang a sheet over the window. Screens in the windows would be nice. There were a number of bugs in the house, some even on the beds. It probably needs to be sprayed. But all in all we loved our stay and would come back again.

Great place for Girls Weekend

Beautiful home with plenty of beds/bathrooms/showers. Clean and well organized. Close to restaurants and shopping as well as beach. We loved our time here!

Wonderful house

Location was great. You can walk everywhere. The kitchen is great. Lots of dishes and plates so we didn’t need to wash dishes constantly. Grill was very good too. Sunroom is a good room to just hang out in. There’s lots of board games to play also. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. I would rent this again if going to new Buffalo

Great Stay!

Perfect house with great location! House was clean and had plenty of room for all us girls! A block away from the main strip. It was perfect! Pulling up to “dollhouse” type of appearance with as much character to match on the inside. Highly recommend for a weekend away!

Great family getaway

Had a great time at this house. It's close to the beach, breweries and only an 8 minute ride to the casino. The beds were comfy, plenty of space to share a meal and play games.

Large Walkable Home - Lots of Train Noise - Less Bedrooms Than Listed

Overall - great home near downtown New Buffalo. An easy walk to all of the shops and only about 20 minutes to the beach. The not so great things: - There were two less bedrooms than listed. There was a foldout couch that they were counting as a bedroom and a bed in the middle of a loft that must have also been counted (despite being in the middle of a common area). This was a pretty big deal for us and something I reached out to the management company about, but they just said that they'd look at updating the listing. - It was REALLY loud being right beside the train. This woke everyone up at least 1 time each night (2 times on the weekend nights) with trains going by and blaring their horns right outside the home. - Older windows where you could see cracks to the outside with tons of bugs in the house. This didn't help with the train noise. - There was a mouse that we saw everyday that was living in the kitchen. Yuck. The good: - They finished cleaning early and let us check-in about 90 minutes early. Final verdict: - For the price, you should be able to find better. I would never have paid so much of I'd known it was only a 4 BR (instead of a 6 BR as it is listed).

Father's Day getaway

We had an amazing long weekend. It was a bit farther from the beach than I had anticipated (maybe my fault), but it was a wonderful house, accommodated 10 people beautifully and the property manager was EXCELLENT getting back to us for all needs and questions. Would rent it again if I can get the whole family together. I think it would be great for a large group of young adults as well.

This house is bigger than it looks and was perfect for my extended family! The kids loved staying on the third floor. It was clean, comfortable, and roomy. We loved it!

Girls weekend (60+ age group)

The house is lovely & spacious! Plenty of bedrooms & bathrooms, all beautifully rehabbed. It is an old home that has been carefully & tastefully restored. The yard has a fire pit which was relaxing to sit around in the evening. Proximity to town & the beach is perfect! All communication with the owners/managers was fast & efficient. They were very responsive to questions. We would love to stay here again!

Great spot for a family close to beach and town

I stayed here with my immediate family the week of my wedding and we had a great time. The house is spacious and clean. There was an extra refrigerator in the basement that we used for drinks. The backyard was spacious with plenty of room for some yard games and barbecues. The local is great, very close walk to downtown shops and restaurants and New Buffalo Beach. The negatives were that there were no screens in any of the windows, so we could never have them open. I understand from the property management company that the owners are working on getting those purchased. More importantly, the online posting really should identify the size beds in each room. There are no king beds, only queens or doubles. And the "sixth" bedroom is not a bedroom. Its an office space with a curtain rather than a door that separates it from the family room. There is a twin size cot in the closet. It ended up being a great working space and storage for wedding stuff, but I was planning to put two of our friends in that room and we ended up having to get them a hotel room instead at the last minute. Otherwise we really enjoyed the stay!

Great weekend getaway!

Wow! Great property in a great location! Everything was exactly as described, rental company was so reliable and fast to answer questions and offer up suggestions! We came for a family wedding taking place about 30 minutes away and it was a wonderful house for the 10 of us ranging in age from 4 months to 64 years. Would definitely come again!

Just Perfect

We needed a large home for multiple families while we were in town for a baseball tournament. Home was perfect. Lot's of room, beds and baths to accommodate everyone. Great location, close to dining and the beach. Nice yard which allowed for some grilling and leisure time outside in-between games. Everything was great,
