This unit badly needs updated and cleaned, location is great, management took prompt care of our issues, 5 stars to them, quick response, prompt action to attempt to correct, however the place was terrible and we did not stay, we had to get a last minute room at the Hyatt at great expense.

Ramsgate 3

Overall this was a nice little condo unit. Property had mostly updated appliances throughout, besides oven. It was clean, the bed was comfy, and we would stay again. The biggest complaint from us would have to be the water pressure in the shower, that could have been better. Unit could probably use a thorough paint job, but that’s just me being picky.

Wet (rainy) week at the beach

Property was clean, but dated. It was well appointed but needed a few repairs. The outside hose for rinsing sand off did not work. I contacted the property lessor but they said it was the HOA responsibility. On our last morning I noticed water leaking from the bathroom ceiling. The grill on the patio had a broken handle and one chair was broken. The bed was very comfortable.

Needs some work

Condo needs to be updated. Vrbo picture is not accurate and should also be updated. Peeling paint in the bathroom and mold in the kitchen around the vent and by hood of the stove. Sliding glass door does not lock, rather uses a bar to lock door. On a positive note, bed was comfortable and location to the beach was great. Beach was quiet and not crowded.

Great location. Smelly and outdated condo!

Beach access was perfect. However, the condo needs updating on the worst way. Mold on the vent above kitchen sink. Rust stains on oven and smoke smeared on vent hood above stove. The pull out bed was absolutely unusable. The mattress was imploding (literally) and you can feel each individual spring! Truly disappointing; no one slept on the mattress. Ice maker = broke!

Nice location, unit needs attention

The location is perfect, loved being on the bottom floor with access out the back door to beach. Bed and pillows were very comfortable, as were the couches. The size is perfect for a couple. But this unit desperately needs some attention. The ice maker didn't work, so we had to buy a bag of ice. We turned it off and on and even pulled out the fridge to see if the water was connected (it was) but it never made one cube of ice. My husband sat in a chair at the kitchen table and heard a crack, got up and found a split from the seat down the leg. Moved that chair aside and got another and found that it was already split in the exact same way, so the one he sat in may have already been that way too. One that wasn't split was coming apart at the top. The light over the stove wouldn't come on. The hood over the stove was permanently sticky and dirty looking. There is a hole with rotten wood around it in the kitchen ceiling. There's noticeably what appears to be mold on the air vent in the ceiling over the kitchen cabinets. The wall is buckling and peeling in the bathroom. The bar that blocks the closed sliding glass door to keep it locked didn't fit well and was held together with an ink pen. These things didn't ruin our stay because we were only in the room for the night and the beds were comfortable, but honestly, the place really needs some care.

Stress relief

After mixup trying to check in to a different Ramsgate , all went ok. Issues w tv in living room were a negative property mgr was great help trying to fix to no avail. But she did unstop the bathtub drain. That was a plus. After a rain storm large palmetto bugs appeared in kitchen and bath. Not many. But not good

Location, location, location

Our stay was great! The location of the rental could not have been in a better spot. Just steps from the beach is something you just can’t beat. We would re book in a heart best and will look at this rental first on our next beach vacation!

Great Location

The location was perfect. The proximity to the beach was ideal for small children, and the amenities of 30a are unbeatable. The beach wasn’t too crowded, the condo was clean, and the bed was comfortable. It was exactly what I was looking for in a vacation.

Short and sweet

Missing trash bags and a smart tv but that is my very minimal complaint! Beautiful view, comfy bed, responsive manager via text when an issue popped up, and very clean - place is just as advertised. Would love to stay here again.

Perfect Location

This was the perfect spot for our family. We have two kids 5 and under, so being right on the beach was critical for us. This property could use some updating as others mentioned, but we didn’t mind. We would definitely stay here again. Can’t beat the location!

A week of beach days.

We wanted a week long beach get a way and we got it! Condo was a bit out of date but clean and comfy. The best part was the very short walk down some stairs to access the beach. The beach was a bit crowded the first couple days (Labor Day weekend) but perfect the last 4 days of our stay. Plus the weather was almost perfect as well! Would definitely return to this unit!

Nice beach for family

The beach was private to the condo, uncrowded, and clean. Please note, there are steps going up and down to the beach that are on the steep side. They are in good shape, just steep for someone with knee problems or a smaller child. The unit, as other reviewers have mentioned, could benefit from updating, especially appliances, but all are functional. Plus, I haven’t seen a Fry Daddy in awhile so that was a blast from the past. I’d rather have a great beach outside and a functional, but not fabulous unit inside. Had lots of fun. Easy drive to Seaside or PCB. Could bike as well. Would stay again.

The property was at a great location. The unit was older, TV service was spotty. Internet worked. Wash cloth in shower felt like sandpaper. The furniture and mattress needs to be replaced.

Terrible rental management company

When we arrived to check in (at 4pm) we found the unit we had reserved under construction. We couldn't get ahold of the rental management company at the number they provided and waited 20 minutes for a call back. After an hour of back and forth with the rental company, they put us at another unit at a different location (not at the same place - we love staying at Ramsgate Harbour).....which wasn't anywhere close to what we had booked here. They said they would call us the next day (or prior to check out) to talk about how to make this right. We have yet to hear from them. They describe 24x7 service - and we sent an email about a chair vendor at 7:30 am and finally got a response at 2pm.

Perfect Thanksgiving Get Away

The property's location was absolutely perfect. Just a few steps from the beach. The managers checked in on us during our stay, which was very thoughtful. Overall, a wonderful experience!
