Family weekend

Communication with host was excellent as we informed her that her cleaning provider did not seem to have cleaned at all prior to our arrival. She offered to have someone come in to clean and refunded cleaning fee.. Location was good and community beach was nice. There was plenty of room for 6 adults, 2 kids and 2 infants. Kitchen was awesome!

Very nice house but it's infected with mice. The garage is full of garbage. Very bad smell outside.

From the owner: "Hi, Healthy! Thank you so much for giving us a 5-star review. I am so glad you were able to enjoy our home and give a great rating despite the few flaws you mentioned. To address your concerns- we do have pest control services come out every three months, which has been happening for a year now, to prevent issues like this from happening. Since your experience, I have informed them of the problem and that they need to come out frequently to address it. Since then, we have had a noticeable improvement. The trash was backed up by a few pickup delays and very busy summer bookings. We have addressed this by adding two additional bins and informing our cleaner to come to the property more frequently to pick up the trash. We appreciate you informing us of this issue! We hope to host you again soon!"

Just right

Our family rented the place to celebrate our niece and nephew’s graduation. It was a perfect spot to come together - plenty of space to spread out, with fun features like the hot tub and pool table. Even though we didn’t use the fire pit, it look cute and there was even a s’mores kit there ready for us. Clean, comfortable, and convenient access.

Good but not great!

The inside of the home was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. However many of the items pictured were non-functional. The couch was broken, the pool table was slanted, the hot tub cover was trashed so the hot tub had trouble maintaining heat, and the tv only works if you have access to apps. As for the outside it was a disaster. There was construction trash and regular trash everywhere, the yard was a mess of mounds of dirt, not useable or level. The fire pit was barely useable and many of the chairs were broken and the setting of the home was not private or with a “woodsy feel”. We enjoyed our stay overall because we left the home often to do other things but it could have been so much better if every thing advertised was actually functional.

Hi Rachel, we want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip. The homeowner would like to share the following: - The couch does not recline and is not advertised as such. We feel that it serves its purpose by providing comfortable seating for guests. - We were unaware of the slant of the pool table until you brought it up and had it repaired immediately after your stay. We would have had it repaired during your stay if we knew of the issue. - The hot tub cover has since been replaced. - The TV is a brand new Smart TV that accommodates all guests as it has access to hundreds of apps. - We have had the yard cleaned up since the bad weather had cleared which made it harder to keep up with during the winter months. - There are two lots that are vacant next to our property that make the outdoor space very private and enjoyable for guests. We're sorry if you were unable to find the value in this. Thanks for your feedback, we're so glad you and your family still enjoyed your stay!

Great place, clean, great location!! Would stay again!!

5 star all the way!! Lots of room and clean. Owner was very nice and checked in with us. Pool table, games and hot tub was an added plus. Would definitely stay again! The only thing I would add is more sitting in family room!! Perfect getaway!! Thank you!!
