Great spot for Pirates Cove wedding

My friends and I loved this spot to stay while in town for a wedding at the Marina. Great accommodations and location!

Girlfriends Trip

Beautiful condo with a great view from the back patio deck. Perfect quiet location with a short drive to Kitty Hawk and oceanfront. Manteo is a beautiful quaint town with wonderful shops and residents. We plan to return soon to see the Lost Colony play.

Perfect view for our morning coffee

The view was amazing every morning. This was the perfect place for our first trip to the area. We had an issue with the shower that was addressed very quickly, which did not hinder our trip.

First experience with VRBO

The keyless entry and checkout process was so easy. I only rented this property for a few nights, but would have loved to have stayed a whole week. The home was very enjoyable, clean and at a perfect location for spending time in The Outer Banks. Close to restaurants, shopping and site seeing activities. I would definitely love to have another vacation with this property as home base!!

Buccaneer Village 815

We’ve been staying at Pirates Cove for years. We love everything about the property from the marina, to the security guards, recreation staff, to the pool, to the playground, to the well manicured landscaping. This condo was just icing on the cake. Would def book again. Loved it, and the view is to die for!

Beautiful Community!

Pirate’s Cove is a lovely gated community that offers many different rental options. Our condo was perfect for a girl’s week in Manteo. Condo was clean and well equipped. We spent a lot of time on the porch with a view of the water. Great place to walk and watch the boats. Good restaurant, pools, fitness center all within the community. Close to downtown Manteo, Nags Head and Cape Hatteras National Seasore. Location, location, location!

OBX condo

Overall, we felt the condo was the perfect size for us. Bedrooms were spacious and plenty of space for watching TV or cooking. Loved the patio overlooking the sound. This was our favorite place to hang out. Easy access to Manteo and Nags Head. Bedrooms weren't the most comfortable and the main bedroom needs some type of blinds over the door. Super bright in the morning with the sun coming up. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.

Master bathroom: bathtub spout shower diverter valve was disfunctional , stuck on shower only. Towel hanger was off the wall.

Beautiful condo in quiet neighborhood

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this well appointed condo. The view of the sound is gorgeous! The condo was very clean and nicely maintained. The neighborhood is nice, quiet and in a great location. We have been coming to the outer banks for over 25 years but have never stayed in Manteo. Very glad that we did. The only recommendation that I have for the management is to install some sort of blinds on the door in the master bedroom. There is no privacy if people are on the balcony. Totally not a dealbreaker though, and we would definitely return to this unit.

Excellent location

We chose Manteo since it was in the middle of the Outer Banks. We loved exploring all the areas from Cape Hatteras to Corolla. Will be back but probably in the fall when it is warmer.

Excellent Getaway

We loved this beautiful little condo, in a great location. We watched the sunrise each day from our excellent view of the sound and bridge to the outer banks. Easy access to Nags Head and to beautiful national seashore beaches. Roanoke Island also has lots of delights. The property was beautiful and perfect in every way. Our only concern: we ran into a problem with a large wetspot on the rug near the entry. It was past when I reported it, so I had to leave a message. Village Realty called back first thing in the morning and sent somebody out right away to take care of it. It could be a problem not being able to reach the property manager in the evening hours, but other than that, I would rate it a 5.0 and we would definitely come back again.
