The directions to the house were very clear and we found the house very easily. The Kitchen was really well equipped, with loads of cooking equipment and storage options. The pantry had heaps of staples, more than we have experienced elsewhere. The cooks in our group, commented continuously and favourably about the amount of storage and cooking supplies. The day that we arrived was very very hot and it did take a little while to cool the house down, but once we did that the house maintained a good temperature throughout our stay. Lis communicated with us during the first few days checking that we were OK and that all was well. There are air-conditioning units in both the living/kitchen and in the lounge room, as well as portable fans in each of the bedrooms, which we used diligently. The bedrooms were spacious. We used the pool, especially on the really hot days and the BBQ was used to cook several meals. There was a large TV in the lounge room and the couches there could swallow you up! The Christmas decorations on the table were a nice touch. At night we were sometimes serenaded by the green tree frogs on the outside wall of the house. We didn’t see any snakes but there were cane toads about. There were lots of bird life around the house at various times of the day. We were in and out a few times but mainly stayed at the house and relaxed. It was the perfect venue. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we are in the area and highly recommend it to others.
