Whether you are planning a Family vacation with the kids, a Couple's retreat, or a simple Solo getaway, "Our Happy Place" is a meticulously maintained Oceanfront Yachtsman condominium offering you a classic, relaxing Nags Head Outer Banks Vacation. Start your days with a cup of coffee and watching a beautiful Sunrise on the Oceanside porch, stroll on down to the beach mid-morning for a day of fun in the sun. It's only steps back to the condo for lunch and then maybe spend the afternoon swimming at the pool. Later enjoy a stunning sunset while having dinner on the Poolside Porch, before an evening walk on the beach or venturing out for ice cream. A Perfect Day!

This prime location at Mile Post 17 near Whalebone Junction is situated within walking/biking distance to several local restaurants like Sam & Omie's, Dune Burger, and Fish Head's Beachfront Bar & Grill, while great fishing and surfing abound at Jennette's Pier, and groceries & beach supplies are plentiful at Cahoon's Market. A short drive of 1-4 miles will take you to the Nags Head Outlet Mall, Bodie Island Lighthouse, Jockey's Ridge State Park, the North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island, and dozens of the beach's best restaurants, local artesian gift shops, hiking and walking trails and community playgrounds for the kids.

This 2 Bedroom & 2 Bath spacious oasis will greet you with a beautiful beachy interior and stunning ocean views. Relax in the great room on the plush sofas & recliners. A large flatscreen TV and a selection of books and boardgames will provide entertainment during downtime after a fun-filled day on the beach. The Ensuite boasts a King Bed with its own covered deck and a full bath. The second bedroom has two Queen beds to ensure everyone rests comfortably, a covered deck, and a full hall bath is just steps away, and across from the washer/dryer closet.

Our Happy Place is a first-floor end unit offering both privacy and convenience. A Community boardwalk provides easy access to the beach only 50 yards away, and a Community cargo lift is available to help with your luggage and groceries. Bed and Bath Linens are always provided for your stay and of course the Beds are made when you arrive...because YOU'RE ON VACATION!

The Yachtsman Condominiums are a no pets, no smoking/no vaping building.

Outside: Community Pool, Outdoor Shower, Picnic Table, Charcoal Grill, Large Oceanfront Sun Deck, Community Board Walk to Direct Beach Access, Stairtamer Cargo Lift.

Place was super clean and furniture and bedroom were super comfortable. We stayed on bottom floor could still see ocean but next time we’re staying on higher floors. Excellent location for all the spy’s we like to hit. One of the best places we ever stayed in the 20 years coming to OBX. Pool was nice to have our daughter loved it!

Fantastic condo...almost perfect

My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful, modern condo just steps from the beach. Great location and amenities. We loved being close to the beach and used the pool nearly every day. While we did love our stay, the King size mattress in the main bedroom is unacceptable and needs to be replaced. There are visible indentations and lumps, and you can actually feel the springs in certain spots (and for reference, I'm 5'6 140 lbs and he's 6'1 175 lbs...we are not large people). This was an unfortunate discomfort to an otherwise perfect condo. I also would like to note for future renters that the sectional couch and accent pillows are down feather. While I am allergic, it was not a huge issue because we spent most of our time outdoors :)

We have stayed at many places (oceanfront) that have that ocean musty smell-this place did not! Would recommend this location to anyone!

Reviewer Comments: From the moment we walked into our vacation rental, Our Happy Place, we were blown away at how clean and spacious the condo was and of course the view of the ocean just made me fall in love with this place!! Well pretty much everything about Our Happy Place made me fall in love with the place! You could tell the owners took pride in their condo and wanted to provide their guests with a wonderful vacation experience. The kitchen was very well appointed with lots of dishes, glassware, coffee mugs, pots, pans, cutting boards, knives, silverware, pretty much anything you could think up including a wonderful Keurig that brewed a pot or a cup of coffee! Once again I want to mention how clean everything in this condo was! The king bed was so comfortable! Although we did not need any extra pillows or blankets it was nice that there were extras available to use if needed. We did add the linen & towel option to our rental so we didn’t have to bring our own with us and we’re happy we did. It was also nice to have 2 bathrooms. The location was perfect for us! The condo is about 1/2 Mile S of Jeanette’s Pier and 1.5 Miles N of the Outer Banks Fishing Pier. This was the first time we rented through Outer Beaches and we’re also very satisfied with the rental process. The staff was very friendly and attentive to any questions I had. We are already looking forward to our 2023 Mags Head vacation and will definitely be staying in Our Happy Place again.

The home is spacious, nicely decorated, has everything you need to make your stay easy, and is in a quiet area away from all the traffic. It made our first trip to the OBX very enjoyable. We loved having our morning coffee on the front deck watching the sun rise over the ocean and watching the sun set on the back deck. It is centrally located for touring the entire outer banks. The beach in the area is wide and very clean. Our experience with Beach Realty was easy and they were helpful and very quick to respond with our one question. We would definitely stay again and use them for our reservation.

We had a great time the condo was very well maintained

Only thing needed is better access to the beach maybe invest in a mat about 60 feet that can help you get up and down better the public beach had one and it really helped especially for us older people! But we had a great time

Fantastic introduction to OBX

Our Happy Place was the perfect condo for our first visit to OBX. It’s location not only helped us explore Nags Head but the entire coast with ease. The condo itself was extremely clean and the deck overlooking the the ocean was magnificent. I would definitely recommend this condo.
