The property was nice and clean family and I enjoyed this day. One thing you'll have to read is the exact location. The street's a little bit confusing with the numbering of the houses.

We loved the Luv Shack!

We had an absolutely incredible stay at the Luv Shack! The place was super cute and so clean. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. Every detail was thoughtfully considered – from the cozy furnishings to the fully stocked kitchen and extra touches that made us feel truly welcome. They even had baited crab traps out for us so by the time we got there we had lots of delicious blue crabs!The location was perfect – quiet and peaceful right on Caney Creek. My favorite time was early in the morning, sitting on the dock with my coffee. It was so quiet...only the birds chirping. There were 2 beautiful white herons across the creek and it was fun to watch them catch their fish. We also enjoyed all the little cat fish jumping out of the water.Our host was fantastic – we received a very detailed email prior to our stay with everything you need to know about the house and the area. They were very responsive, friendly, and made check-in a breeze. It’s clear they care a lot about creating a great experience for guests.We’re already looking forward to coming back and would recommend this place to anyone looking for the perfect home away from home!

We LUVED the LUVSHACK

This place was absolutely beautiful! The pictures don’t do it much justice! Between the beautiful stain glass windows to the dining room table, so much thought and luv went into this place to make it so homey. We will definitely be back! The pier was the perfect size for all us to fish off of! (It was a little dark between the house and peir).but overall no issues whatsoever! 5 stars isn’t enough!

This place is so adorable and homey. We truly enjoyed all of the special touches that went into updating this property. If you love quiet fishing, relaxing in the shade of a patio, visiting with friends/family while grilling, this is definitely the place to be! The beds are very comfortable, good air conditioning in this ridiculous Texas heat, and the homemade kitchen table- WOW!!! It is beautiful and we enjoyed sitting around it to eat and visit with our family. Excellent owner/local contact communication! Overall 5 ⭐️

Loved this CABIN!!

Came here for a birthday trip and this cabin doesn't owe me nothing. Its beautiful and has everything you need. From fishing to private deck to beautiful yard. I will definitely be back in a few months. The owners of the cabin are so welcoming. The neighbors next door are friendly. Please don't pass this hidden gem in Bay City Tx.

Unique, clean, and fun rental

This house is so clean, with comfortable beds and furniture, and unique decor. It has everything to offer with a creekside pier for fishing, crabbing, and relaxing, and a front deck with a surfboard shape table and chairs, a firepit, and grill for grilling. The feel of this house reminds me of Key West😍. It's one of those places you have to see for yourself to appreciate. We had 5 adults and 3 children and it was perfect. We will definitely rent again. Thanks for sharing this beautiful home🤗

Cool, Cool, Cool.

The Luvshack has a cool factor between James Dean and Jimmy Buffett. The front yard is large. I was able to park my boat trailer by the laundry building, out of the way. The deck in front is shady all day, with a view of the creek and the gulf breeze. Great place to grill and hang out. The surf board table is cool. The laundry building is right off the deck. Grill and wash at the same time. The inside of the Shack is perfectly decorated. The kitchen is well stocked. Plenty of spices, coffee and fridge space. The beds are comfortable. Plenty of towels in the bathroom. . The dock is perfect. The large wooden chairs are fabulous for watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee. Three crab traps are there ready to go. We brought home a cooler full of crabs. Boiling them today. The boat house is under construction, but I was able to pull my 22 footer in and tie off to the large beams. The location on the creek is perfect. Dock to East bay in 20 minutes.. One weekend or a whole week, The Luvshack is perfect. I never thought I would love Pink, but I do now. The Adams Family

This was by far the best place I have stayed at in Sargent! The Luvshack reminded me of Key West. The house lay out was really unique and charming, and the bedrooms had big windows with great views of the creek. I love the white walls and ceiling in the bedrooms, and the beds were so comfortable 😍. All the furniture and decorations were so unique inside, and the outside front deck was awesome. There was also a firepit where we enjoyed somores. The pier was so relaxing and they also had crap traps where we caught crabs for boiling. We also caught a few small croakers, catch and release. My grandson's both 5 yrs old, caught fish and were so excited. We will definitely be back to this gem. Cant say enough good things about this place. Thanks for sharing your awesome home Tom!

Fun Family Getaway

We had three adults, two 15 year olds, and two 9 year olds. Very cute and clean house! Outside space was perfect for relaxing and fishing. We brought fishing gear, but the crab traps off their dock were a fun bonus! The fire pit was used two different nights and the kids enjoyed making smores. Location was great too, just a few minute drive to the beach. The kitchen had all of the dishes/cookware you would need. Anything last minute we forgot to pack we grabbed at the local dollar store. Looking forward to staying at the Luv Shack again!

Perfect spot for a family get away

We spent our 4th of July holiday here & OMG! It did not disappoint. We enjoyed the private fishing pier, each kiddo had their own room, & the rooms were nice & cold. The fireworks all along the creek were amazing to look at!

Beautiful

If your looking for a place that allows you to escape from reality that has all the amenities, comfort, upgrades and friendliness of the owner and neighbors then this is the place. My family and close friends came here to enjoy our weekend. This house gave us everything we needed and more. We were able to sit around the fire pit, make s’mores, listen to nature and unwind. The husbands spent most of their time on the pier fishing with the kiddos. We really made the most of our weekend and relax. Thank you for sharing your home with us and giving us a piece of sanctuary. We will be back 😁

Piece of paradise

Beautiful property inside and out. The newly renovated home looks great! Nice decors throughout the home. 3 bedrooms have big comfortable queen beds. The kitchen is roomy and has plenty of seating. The dock was big enough to entertain 6-8 anglers. It has a bright fishing light to attract all kind of fish at night! The owner was kind enough to bait the 3 crab pots for us but unfortunately there were not any in them! The water is too cold for the crabs 🦀 for now. We love the property and would love to come back in the summer.

Paradise in Caney Creek

Spent Labor Day weekend at this beautiful property. The place is renovated and spacious. The patio deck is amazing for hanging out, cooking out, and doing crab boils. There is a huge outside table with plenty of chairs. Great fire place with starter fluid and plenty of fire wood. The fishing dock area is perfect for fishing and catching crabs. The owners of the property had 3 crab traps filled with bait so we caught tons of them (Thank You). Also, you can bring your boat and be ready for fishing anytime! Place is secluded but also close to the beach and stores. I will definitely book again!
