Breathtaking views from the amazing dock on beautiful Kasshabog Lake are enough to make you fall in love with this wonderful waterfront property. When you add in child-friendly sand entry as well as the 15feet deep water off the end of the dock, your lakeside vacation days will undoubtedly be fun-filled.

Built in the 1950s the cottage has the character and charm that is the true definition of ‘cottage-life’. 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths will provide a comfortable stay for up to 8 people. Use of 2 stand-up paddle boards included.

Loved it!

My family and I had so much fun relaxing on the dock or using the paddle boards and paddle boat. It is a perfect location and the hosts were excellent at communicating with me. Thank you!

Cottage visit

The weather was cool and there was no wind during our stay. This made for perfect kayak and paddleboard weather: so many little islands to paddle around plus observing the loon family, kingfishers, grey heron, osprey and mink. We did swim in the lake many times...you can jump off the dock or wade in. There were few weeds. Kasshabog lake is beautiful. Woodview and Lakefield were great towns to visit and to get supplies. The beds were very comfortable, each room has a ceiling fan. The kitchen is very well stocked with food basics and dishes. The cottage is pretty far in - it was very quiet and even tho we could see neighbouring cottages, few people were about. The stairs to the loft are very steep, so be careful! It looks like the hosts are gradually making some nice improvements. It was a nice break from suburbia!

Just what we needed

My family and I loved the beautiful dock and spent most of the day there relaxing, swimming and kayaking. I even tried the paddle board. The cottage had everything we needed and Ryan and Meg were great about communicating and answering our questions. Loved it!!!!

Cottage is in a great location!

Enjoyed our stay, it was a very quiet location, beautiful lake to explore. Cottage is rustic, with some updates.

A perfect getaway spot

The Kosh Nook is a wonderful place to escape the city! The cottage spacious and located on a quiet part of the lake with amazing sunset views. The cottage comes equipped with everything you could need and Megan was a wonderful host who answered every question we had. The best part about the property is easily the dock. It’s massive with multiple seating options. A 10/10 experience - would definitely come back!

Beautiful Spot

The setting is stunning. The outdoor spaces are certainly the highlight. The deck is huge with lost of comfy seating options. There is a beautiful patio for outdoor dining that was a perfect setting for our Thanksgiving dinner. The cottage provides an authentic cottage experience. It was clean and neat. The decor was tasteful. The loft bedroom was particularly inviting. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Definitely worth a visit!!

The Perfect City Escape

The Kosh Nook was everything we could have asked for and more. This cozy cottage is perfectly tucked away on the lake so there is not too much boat traffic, this makes it ideal to use all the fun water equipment they have including kayaks and paddle boards. The large dock is where we spent most of the day with plenty of seating and amazing views. The cottage itself has everything you need with a great open space to play board games and spend time with friends and family by the fire. The owners were easy to communicate with and answered all of our questions. We will definitely be going back!

What a Nook…

Could not have been happier to escape to the coziest Nook, the Kosh nook did not disappoint. The location was great, private, the lake was gorgeous, amazing dock to lounge and settle in for the day. Cozy bed, stocked with everything you need in the kitchen. It was the perfect escape from the city. Thank you so much for the opportunity.

Great location, lots to do!

First off the location of the cottage on the lake was excellent. Being tucked in a small bay ment no boat traffic right in front of the cottage which was great for swimming and the kids to play on the kayaks and paddle board. It was great to have all the water toys there so we really didn't need to bring anything in order to enjoy the water with the kids. The dock was beautiful and we spend most of our time there. The cottage was a great fit for our family, enough space for us to spread out and kitche was fully stocked with everything we needed. Communication with our host was excellent from the moment we booked to the morning we left. Overall a really enjoyable stay, definatly highlights the lake life!

Paradise for nature lovers !

Wow what a beautiful place! We all loved the landscapes! Beautiful place to stay a mix of rustic with some modern! Great for relax and adventure! Had a wonderful time! Thank you and we would like to go back again! Highly recommend to go there!
