The towns of Glen Arbor and Empire are highly sought-after destinations, nestled amidst picturesque lakes and forests. Little Glen Shores, boasting 100' of shoreline on Little Glen Lake, is located in this exceptional area. Offering an ideal setting for water-based activities. The property accommodates 10 guests and features 5-bedrooms, 2-bathrooms, with a two-story layout. The main level has two bedrooms with a king and a full bed, while the upper-level houses three bedrooms, including 2-queen and 2-twin beds. One of the bedrooms has a TV. Both floors feature full bathrooms with walk-in showers. The spacious main living/dining has a woodstove-type gas fireplace, providing a comfortable space for relaxation. Additionally, there is a generator for uninterrupted power supply, and cable TV and WIFI for entertainment.

Situated across the street from Little Glen Lake, the property offers a tranquil environment including a fire pit and scenic views of the dunes at sunset. A dock, outdoor dining deck, and gas grill enhance the outdoor experience. Beyond the property lies a serene wooded area with a trail for hiking.

The Sleeping Bear Dunes/Dune Climb and Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive are both less than four miles away. This location is 25 miles from Traverse City where many great restaurants and experiences await.

We had a wonderful week! The location was wonderful! Our hosts were very responsive. Would loved to have had a couple of extra bath towels. 10 people 10 towels.

Fabulous Rental on Little Glen

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here with 9 adults and 1 toddler. House was perfect for our group. Very clean and well equipped. We will definitely stay here again.

The view was amazing, to look out and see Lake Michigan from the living area. There were lots of gnats we picked up fly traps and there was no chairs near the dock/firepit near the lake. Pick up your own firewood too. I would revisit the area. I give it a 4 star

Great Location but the house need a carpet replacement

The property is greatly located but there are some issue which changes the impression really worse especially the carpet condition, very old furnitures especially un comfortable beds and sofas .The burners are not working in the kitchen and the furnace is very loud , So not worth for the money you spend

The space was great, plenty of room for nine people. It was nice to have a table big enough for us all to eat together!We knew ahead of time that we were across the road from the beach, what we didn't realize is how loud the traffic would be. It took some of the enjoyment of sitting on the deck away. You could also hear it at night if you have the windows open.The dock and lake area were great! We spent a lot of time down there making some great memories.I would suggest bringing fans, not all the bedrooms have ceiling fans and there was one pretty lame fan.It is really close to Glen Arbor and the sand dunes.

Location is great, Property is Bare Bones

Location and access to dock on Little Glen were great, and made the rest of the rental more tolerable. We booked a long time ago, and paid a much lower rate than this property is currently seeking, I would be upset if we'd had to pay the new rate for what this house offers! The house itself is very bare bones, and not thoughtfully prepared for visitors. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with basic supplies, but they bathrooms/showers in particular are not in great shape, the beds are all on cheap frames so slide around easily and not particularly comfortable. There's little to no storage in most of the bedrooms, and I echo what another reviewer said about bringing your own fans. We had to do quite a bit of cleanup on the deck to use the outdoor furniture. Seating in the living was also lacking and what was available was cheap and not comfortable.

Excellent location, beautiful lakes

This house is in the perfect location - close to everything. The lakes (Little Glen and Big Glen) are beautiful and peaceful and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. We rented a boat one day from the nearby marina. Loved paddling in Little Glen and over to Big Glen. The dune climb is 7 minutes away. Very close to Glen Arbor, so running into town for groceries or ice cream was really easy/not stressful. Large lawn - we brought corn hole with us - plenty of space. The house was spacious and fit all 10 of us perfectly. Only two bathrooms but we made it work. Ample parking. Communication with the property managers was very easy. The house was cleaned before we arrived, but it was still a little dirty (the floors in particular). The mattresses in most beds were uncomfortable. It is an old cottage. Lots of hot water that never ran out. Just wished the house was cleaner and for some wished the mattresses were more comfortable. Because of the proximity to everything and the gorgeous lakes, I would recommend this house.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is a great location. Very shallow and sandy swimming area that is perfect for kids. Absolutely beautiful scenery. Close to Glen Arbor. The yard of the home and deck are nice. The inside was mostly clean. The decor and carpeting leave something to be desired. The carpet is quite stained and makes the home feel dirty even if it is "clean". The stove only had one burner that worked. This would be a top notch rental if they put a few $ into new carpeting and decor. I would recommend it to a friend if they changed these items. I wouldn't in it's current state because there are more updated rentals in the same location.
